Pointless site with very few users and weird rules ..
I recently tried out this service. I made an account as non-paying member. I was able to use the website for a few hours, then my profile was inactivated / blocked by the administrators. My limited observations follow:
1. The claim of highly educated members is unsubstantiated; there is nothing in the registration process safeguarding against low educational level. In fact, after having read a few dozen profiles, I could not tell a higher level of sophistication than that present in competing services of the same type. (I am not saying that one needs to be highly educated to be interesting, I am simply stating that the company's claim of highly educated members is a hoax).
2. I was not able to find many members in the entire country of Belgium (I was searching for women between the ages of 45 and 60). I expanded the age range, and still, very few members were available overall in all age groups. The claim that this is a large dating site for Belgian standards is therefore completely unsupported.
3. The site administrators make it clear in the General Conditions that profiles must be written in Dutch. I wonder if their members agree with this rule, given that Belgium is officially a trilingual country (French, Dutch, and German), as well as welcoming home to a large community of highly educated expatriates comfortable in English.
4. I am posting this review in English because I do not wish to create three or four different posts in different languages (En/Fr/Nl/De/etc...) Note that my profile _was_ written in Dutch as required. None-the-less it was deactivated a few hours following my first login, for no specific reason, only stating that it violates the General Conditions. Perhaps the Dutch-speaking administrators felt that I was not highly educated enough for their superior standards.
Based on the above, I conclude that this service is inadequate, particularly if you are considering a full-featured paid subscription (which at the time of writing will cost you between 15 to 29 euros monthly depending on duration), because of the very small local user base, and also the restrictions posed by the service owner - a company registered in the Netherlands, not Belgium - on communicating in one particular language.
