Love this place for any brake or tire repairs!! Will is absolutely exceptional so whenever you need some repairs go to this location and ask for him to. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

My cousin had an absolutely great experience at Mavis Tires in Hiram. He said the staff was friendly, professional, and really took care of him from start to finish. He was extremely happy with the work and how everything was handled. It’s always nice hearing someone you trust have such a positive experience. Definitely sounds like a great place to go if you need tires or brake work!

Took my wife’s 2013 Chevy Cruze to the Mavis Tire on Home Depot Drive in Hiram for a simple tire rotation, balance, and alignment. The TPMS system was working perfectly when we arrived. The moment the service was done and paid for, the TPMS light started flashing and all four tire pressures showed zero.

Anyone who works on GM vehicles should know that after rotating tires, you must perform a TPMS relearn with the proper GM tool. It’s basic procedure.

When my wife went back inside to ask them to check it, the cashier (Austin Hooks) refused to even look at the car. No diagnostic, no inspection, nothing. He immediately blamed the sensors and said they “probably need to be replaced,” even though the system was fine before they touched it.

I had already bought the correct GM TPMS tool earlier that morning (because I know how these places operate). When my wife got home, I performed the relearn myself — and the system went right back to normal. No bad sensors. No malfunction. Just a tech who didn’t do the required procedure and a front desk that refused to take responsibility.

This shop showed zero professionalism and zero accountability. If they can’t handle something as basic as a TPMS relearn — or worse, refuse to even check their own work — I wouldn’t trust them with anything more than adding air to a tire.

Avoid this location.

Approximately 9-10 months ago, visited store to get alignment, rotation, balance. Was told I needed to replace my tires…and, because of that need, they wouldn’t do alignment. Huh…!

Recently made appointment for 2:30pm next day. I had to put down a deposit (not much…$25) for this. Upon arrival, they told me my appointment was for 1pm. Huh? Read confirming email they sent (which I had not read…why read a confirming email…?). Email “confirmed” appointment was set for 8am. Huh!

Next…They would Not honor mileage warranty on current tires…said I had to do that thru the manufacturer. (Yes. I purchased current set of tires from Kauffman - the previous owner). They did not tell me this when I inquired (when making appointment) about warranty adjustment. Also…Previous owner (Kauffman) would adjust my cost based on warranty.

I asked for a refund of my deposit. They said a credit would come thru in a couple days. We’ll see.

I did Not purchase from Mavis this time. There are two chances that I will ever purchase from Mavis. And “slim” just left town. Same chances apply to whether I would recommend Mavis…!!!
