We went to Mavis for many years where we used to live and were always very happy with them. We recently moved. My son‘s car needed service so we found a local Mavis. Steve at the Mavis on Rt 38 in Mt Holly, NJ handled the urgent issue with expertise and kindness. I’m grateful to Steve and happy we found another reputable and caring place to bring the car.

Great fast service

On Saturday, I unexpectedly needed a new tire, as a result of a leak. As I was passing by Mavis to go to my daughters swim meet in Camden at I noticed my pressure was dropping dramatically and there was no way I was going to make it there by 11:30 when it starts. When I entered the store and gave my info to John and explained my situation, he let me know that there was about a 2 hr wait, which would have gotten me to the meet at about 1:15, and I would have missed everything. I had no choice, so I told them I'd wait.
My daughter called to see what I was doing and I explained the situation. I told her I'd do my best to get there, but I couldn't promise anything. If by chance I wasn't there when the meet was over, come back on the bus and I'll meet her at the school. She began to get upset because it would be the first time that no one would be there to watch her swim. I calmed her down the best I could and when I hung up the phone, Mike was behind the counter and asked what sport she plays. We chatted for a minute about her swimming and he walked away. About 5 minutes later, they were pulling my vehicle in to replace the tire! I didn't know what to say, especially with a room full of people waiting. I wrote Mike and John a note, telling them that I could not thank them enough and that they did not have to do that. While paying for the service, and talking to Mike, he said something to me that made me cry when I got into my car and I have told numerous people about. He said, "I'm a dad. I never missed my kids events and I wasn't going to let you miss yours today. Tell her good luck!" I was out of there and on my way and made it about 5 minutes into the meet, still allowing me to see all of my daughters races. She was soo happy to see me and when I told her what Mike said all she could do was hug me!

These guys are amazing. Their customer service is outstanding! They are personable, understanding, quick, and still do impeccable work! I would go out of my way any day to go back to their shop when I need something! 10/10 recommend!!

Overall great experience

Fast and friendly service. It's what I expect from Mavis. They explained to me why my right front tire was losing air and explained that the puncture was not repairable. They offered to show me the leak but I refused because I trusted their judgement.

The staff was outstanding. They exceeded our expectations and completed our repairs in minimum time. This reduced our off the road time with the vehicle. Many thanks to Steve and Mike.
