It is the worst term insurance company I have ever experienced. It does not provide a clear list of requirements. On failure of policy issuance, they keep ur money with them for more than 1 month and always try not to refund at all. I had to register my complaint in IRDAI portal. Still I can not see any positive response till now. It's there dirty strategy to lock money.. in fact .. never returning n keep with them. I will never go for any of the products from Axis bank. They have the worst customer support and a system full of frauds. NEVER EVER BUY ANY POLICY FROM AXIS.. ESPECIALLY MAX LIFE INSURANCE FOR SURE

Dear All, This is the worst place. Never come on this Axis Max life for any plans or insurance. These guys have been drastically torturing my spouse for the last two months for the refund that I have paid for the policy.
Only fake assurance on email, Nothing Else. POLICY NO 191885383 AND REF NO 24834150, and my policy also. TAKEN MONEY IN THE NAME OF TERM PLAN AND CANCELLED BY AXIS, NOW NOT REFUNDING MONEY.

Fraud company very bad experience have made the payment yet they are not renewing the policy I have been chasing them from one month on emails calls they only say they are escalating but no resolution. Never take axis max life insurance their GRO is also useless in all aspects no revert on call also when they mention the same in their emails.

Worst customer service. I requested to cancel my plan next day and it’s already 1 month no updates from customer support or max agents. They just want to close the calls and then run away. Below is attached proof they have not given any updates even i submitted refund form as requested. Just imagine if we buy policy and when there is real need i don’t think anyone will support we just run behind them like we do in government. Do not buy max insurance.

Pathetic services Axis Max Life tie up with Yes Bank,they just misguide and misell the policy and later on its just customer harassment.No one has the answer,just keep on delaying. Please beware of buying such insurance plans without checking it yourself.No resolution till date,it's approx 10 months.

Third class company that dupes and manipulates.I took a loan from my bank n my call was transferred to a agent who asked me to make a payment of rs 50000 to secure my loan and it was 1 time pymnt the agent calling was from maxlife .I took the policy and rs50000 was deducted from my loan amount. After a year I recvd a call for premium I was shocked to know that the agent on the phone had lied and I had to make payment of Rs 50000 every year.I somehow managed to make another payment of Rs 50000 to save my credit score but next year was full of hardships and I couldn't make my Payment went to maxlife office informed them but they said nothing can be done and now they are deducting on per day late fee charges and my rs 100000 has been duped in the name of company's policy.5 * rating for the scamming skills and lies of this company.

A Warning to Anyone Considering Axis Max Life Insurance

I am the owner of two Axis Max Life policies, and I want to strongly caution anyone considering their products.

In June 2024, the company changed my registered email address without my authorization, and since then, I have lost access to both of my policies. Despite repeated attempts to get this corrected, no clarification or resolution has been provided.

As an NRI, I am unable to receive OTPs on my Indian number, making it impossible for me to log in or manage my account. Yet, Axis Max Life continues to debit payments from my account every month.

Over the past year, I have contacted every level of their support system — local branch representatives, NRI services, manager support, and even the grievance redressal officer (GRO) — but I have received only generic, unhelpful responses. No one has taken ownership of the issue, and no investigation has been initiated.

This experience has been extremely distressing. By denying me access to my own policies, Axis Max Life is playing with the financial security and future livelihood of my wife and daughter.

I sincerely hope this serves as a warning to others before they place their trust in this company.

Such robish service not solution for customber problem first the policy sales person they cheating with people they dont give right information about policy until the customber don’t pay policy they don’t send even document and branch people keeping u busy for other things when u realise u r policy is not good after 25 years u will don’t much and there is one more things of u don’t pay second primium so u lost everything what robish and big rober pls I don’t recommend like that people

Terrible experience with Axis Max Life Insurance. No guidance, no updates, no communication — I had to chase for every detail. Customer service is unprofessional and unresponsive. Absolutely disappointing and not trustworthy.

I’ve paid my premium weeks ago and yet my policy is not active. These people are best at selling you the policy and after that they don’t give a damn. My RM has disappeared. No one is making sure that my policy is issued. I regret going ahead with them.

People and public out there, please don’t get scammed by this company. I have been trying to get in touch with them since the start of 2024. The team is so incompetent. Everytime I’m put through a new person. I have to go over the whole process again. No work is done! Don’t put your hard earned money and savings there. This company is a scam. They’ll take you for a ride. The staff is so incompetent and useless. I think they’re all part of the scam. Please be aware!!!! Do not have any dealings with this company.

Policies are sold to NREs with the promise of GST exemption, yet this is far from accurate. My claim has gone beyond a year without any GST refund. A warning to all NREs considering taking a policy here. Be very careful.

Returns not promising

Hi everyone I just want to inform you that I had worst experience with max life because of their employee. They have given me fake information, I have invested 375000 inr in 5 premium of INR 75000 and its fund value was INR 422000 as on 31 dec 2023 than one of the employee o Max Life called me and said you have invested in wrong policy do one thing take policy and withdrawal the half amount from the existing one invest in new one I did the same and now the old one is still performing but the new one what they said its good one in compare to old one the current value of new invested fund is INR 391000 and invested amount INR 440000, but old one performing same growth.

Its a Big scam Be careful when you purchase a life insurance and critical insurance policy. Don't do it

spoke to Meghna dalal and Anush Thakur says he is the manager and dosen't know what has been happening with the policy,where the money has gone. completely clueless. I have been waiting for a year and no solution, not sure how they all work there without having a clue of anything.

The back office needs proper training.

I submitted all the required documents after my policy matured. However, the back office entered random IFSC and MICR numbers, and they were unable to copy them correctly. This level of carelessness is unacceptable. Despite sending a couple of emails, the issue remains unresolved. I am left wondering if Max has a quality assurance team to validate the errors made by their back office. This situation has been extremely frustrating.
