Overall, I’d give this program 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Starting with the positives, the program is very well structured and clearly takes an 80/20 approach to case prep. It covers most parts of the case interview process, with a strong emphasis on problem solving and communicating your thinking clearly. One of the most valuable parts of the program is that it teaches you how to recognize the three main types of cases and approach each one with a distinct logic. That alone makes it highly useful.

One area where I would have liked more support was the math. Since that was a weaker area for me, I was hoping for more in-depth content there. In the end, I supplemented this program with another course. In addition, you may find the need to find other external resources when it comes to the digital assessments.

That said, I’m still very happy with the program overall. I think it’s important to do your due diligence before committing, given it is a hefty sum and make sure it’s the right fit for you, but I found it valuable and helpful.

Just as people hire personal trainers to stay on track with exercise, the team helped keep me motivated throughout the process.

I was successful with McKinsey interviews thanks to the programme. You will have to be ready to make an investment and work hard but I believe it pays off.

I was a mentee in the program because I wanted to break into an MBB company, and was not interested in anything else. I ultimately received my BCG offer, after preparing for approximately 9 months with the coaches in the program. Well ahead of having any consulting interviews scheduled.

I did not join the program because I felt that I needed help in doing cases, or because I wanted to ace the personality-part of the interview. What I was truly looking for was clarity. Clarity in understanding how I could secure a referral, how I network effectively, how I leverage my profile/experiences in the best possible manner, and how to present myself in the MBB interviews. This clarity is the main selling point that convinced me to join the program.

The coaches and the program helped me in reaching this goal, which ultimately led to my BCG offer.

There are further three aspects that makes this program stand apart, which are worth highlighting:

- They don't just focus on getting you into MBB, but use boutique consultancy or Tier-2 consultancy firm's interviews as experience-builders and confidence-boosters ahead of your MBB interview(s). The coaches will actively discuss your interview performance of other consultancies/firms with you, and help you refine your answers in an iterative process. This helps you to be sure that you present your best self on the day of the MBB interview. I myself said to the coaches: "I'm really only interested in MBB, I wouldn't do consulting if it's not MBB". They quickly advised me to diversify my applications to boutique and Tier-2 consultancies, for the sake of gaining confidence and practice the interview setting. This was a valuable insight and helped me along the way to my MBB offer.

- The coaches themselves are or were MBB interviewers. They understand what interviewers are looking for, and also provide their perspective on how decisions are made and what really counts in the interview in order to shine as a good candidate. They teach you how you can survive pretty much any case, just by applying your own logic and through using proper casing hygiene.

- Contact to like-minded, highly-ambitioned candidates that share the same goal and push together in order to reach their end goal. Everyone is in a similar position, and we're all rooting for each other. This was empowering, and pivotal to get into the "winner's mindset".

I joined the MBB Offer Machine with a clear goal of getting into consulting. After ~11 months, I did get into EY Parthenon. I joined as an intern first, and then transitioned to a consultant. Having undergone 5 interviews in total, at no point of time I felt scared, or thought what if they ask me a question that did not fit my framework? Because in these months, I was rather forced to think beyond frameworks.

Things that I really appreciate about the MBB Offer Machine -

They have a team of senior consultants who have taken interviews during their tenure at MBBs. They know what the other side of the table is judging you on. Their quality was never a question for me. Senior recruiters from McKinsey working in my CV, getting feedback from people who interview candidates at BCG and Bain was gold. Just helps you level up in minimum amount of cases.

2) They train you to be a CONSULTANT -
I never felt I was preparing to crack the interview. NEVER. I was forced to think, act, and speak like a good performing consultant. This was especially evident in how Sidi and Jorn interacted during the daily touch point sessions (Yes. You could meet both of them daily with your doubts!)

3) They are pretty flexible and personalized at the same time -
This one is more on the admin side. They are pretty flexible with payments, timelines, and in most cases accept genuine requests.

The team being selective at the start also gives you a great atmosphere of people to practice with. You build a network of people who will be future consultants at top firms, across geographies!

I would highly recommend a mindset of learning rather than simply getting an offer. I say this because the real growth happened in the learning. Offer just followed.

I received a BCG offer thanks to their preparation and I could not have done this without their guidance and support. This program truly made the difference for me, it helped me secure my dream full-time offer with BCG after having been rejected by all three MBB firms just 1.5 years earlier.

When I started prepping again, sitting once more in front of CaseCoach and PrepLounge and the likes, I realized „it’s foolish to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result”.
That’s when I came across The MBB Offer Machine. To be honest, at first, I wasn’t too convinced by their website and feared it might just be another service trying to make money off desperate candidates. But I decided to schedule the free introductory call anyway. Even though it seemed like quite an investment at the time, I immediately chose to join the program because I was convinced that their prep approach could really make a difference.
And it absolutely paid off.
To be honest, I’m quite frustrated by some of the negative reviews on Reddit, which seem to clearly come from people who have not actually participated in the program. The preparation you receive here is on a completely different level compared to university prep courses or self-directed practice on platforms like PrepLounge. Specifically because of:
- The high quality and motivation of participants in this program, something you extremely benefit from in the peer case practice sessions
- The opportunity to have 3-5 one-on-one mentor sessions (which often cost 200€+ each on the open market) and receive feedback that helps you make those extra 5% of progress that set you apart from “average” candidates
- The structured modules that provide clear guidance for your preparation, make your prep time manageable, and equip you with the tools and frameworks to confidently tackle even the most unusual cases

If I hadn’t received an offer, it would only have been because of my own self-doubt standing in the way. Luckily, that wasn’t the case and I managed to demonstrate everything I had learned in the program. According to my interviewer, I “completely convinced everyone,” and was even granted a six-month tenure credit, something they said they rarely award.
I truly wish I had known about this program back in university (and had the financial means for it, though in hindsight, it pays off many times over). It would have saved me the detour through a Tier-2 consultancy before finally becoming an MBB consultant.

Of course there are candidates that manage to receive an offer with the free resources. But if you want to play it safe and not rely on luck, I see no reason to prepare for MBB interviews without this program. They are even open to finding individual solutions when it comes to financing this program.
