What has happened to McCain's chips? I have just thrown nearly 50% of a 1.6kg bag of crinkle cut chips in the bin. Just scraps and off-cuts. Never again. McCain's get your act together.

The oven ChIps do not cook properly inside is always hard and they do not cook in 20 - 25 mins took nearly an hour on full heat
I will never by mccains again or recomend them

McCain frozen oven chips have gone downhill. Loads of bad chips in bag. When I complained they told me potatoes were bruised!!! And now the bags when you pick them up in Tescos are greasy on the outside. Hands are so greasy and smell. I’m going to try own brand from now on

We have bought mcaine crinkle cut chips for a couple of years now and have been very happy with them, , that is untill the last couple of bags. I don't know what they have done to make them so bad, and we will never buy them again. They used to be crispy and fluffy but now they are hard, earthy and disgusting. I suppose all good things comes to an end.
EDIT + WE DID STOP buying the Macains crinkle cut chips, but whether it was a batch that escaped QC or a badly blanched batch but ever since my complaint ( really don't think that that had anything had to do with it) the crinkle cut bags of chips returned to the status of excellence and we, my wife and i have been enjoying them again.
Maybe we jumped the gun on that review will take more time to analyse.
We are buying and we are eating them again and they are excellent.

Hi,I found a rotted tooth in my bag of patties.

Tried the fries and they were full of black/brown bits pretty disgusting if I'm honest.
We all prefer homemade but hey what do we know?

I bought McCain stir fry at picknpay carnival and honestly felt played cause it was just sweet corn green beans and abit of onion .. No red, green peppers and cabbage.

I'm so not happy with them.

Just bought mccains chunky chips. Nearly best chips ever not as good as mine. Found out that wetherspoons use mccains. Thankyou mccains

We purchased on 3 separate occasions 1.6kg of straight and crinkle oven chips. When cooked (baring in mind we've always used these) when cooked they were earthy, not golden and crunching. Infact disgusting, I combined with images etc but never had a reply. Appalling attitudes consumer

McCain oven chips used to be good quality, non greasy chips. Not any more. The bags are covered in grease and you have to wash your hands after handling them.
The chips contain many black inedible chips that have to be removed before cooking. If you miss one and eat it by mistake tastes disgusting. I stopped buying them a year ago and buy Tesco oven chips instead. Far superior product, bag isn’t covered in grease and almost no black eyed, bad tasting, earthy chips. Pay a bit more, but a much better product. Recently had to buy McCain crinkle cut chips as Tesco own brand were out of stock. I would have rather gone without - they were soft and mushy when cooked, a great disappointment. Avoid buying McCain chips at all costs is my advice…

Had the bbq fries didn't contain any bbq they was normal fries will never buy yhem again feel ripped off

Claim to help disabled families... By serving disgusting, processed, low nutritional food that No healthy/ educated person would Chose to eat?
If you only ate McCain's food you would die of malnutrition!

McCains Gastro chips. Triple cooked it says. Swimming in fat would be more truthful. You get less fat if you cook them in a deep fat fryer. Absolutely disgusting. And very expensive. Buy Tesco own brand

I previously complained about black and inedible McCainm chips. After several contacts I got a 5$ voucher. Given the time and effort involved I considered the response inadequate and decided never to but their products again. In a rush today I bought a frozen McCain pub chips and damn me if half were not black and inedible. Given myn experience alway choose a different manufacturer

Is it me or has anyone else notice how McCain are using same sex couples in there adverts, far higher than there are same sex couples in reality thus undermining heterosexual couples
I'm surprised the advertising regulators have not intervened

Purchased Mc cains new product as it was on special offer.... Roasted garlic wedges.... What a disappointment.. If something is advertised as being garlic flavoured you would expect the product to taste of garlic..... Not so..... Not even a hint. Won't be buying them again at any price

Gastro chips terrible, full of grease, ruins anything else cooked on same tray. Avoid, waste of money.

I grew up back in the 1980's with McCain Foods Deep'n Delicious Chocolate Cake!

Until this day being Wednesday, July 27, 2016, the Cake is still around and has Not Gone Out Of Style!

It is people like McCain Foods who Make Their Canadian Chocolate Cakes Tasting Great!
