The surgeon and the personnel were very kind and understanding, making the experience much more enjoyable. The surgeon also helped design a hairline which fit the most with my preferences, which is great! Although the surgery was very painful, once the anaesthesia wore off, I’m very glad I had undergone it! If I left out the pain, I would definitely rate my experience a full 10/10!

They made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process and procedure. The team explained the procedure to me well, communicated to me throughout the procedure, and made sure I was doing okay the entire time. The transportation process was very easy as well. Although I don’t have final results, I was very pleased and treated very well at Medart.

My experience with Medart was excellent. I am 61 yrs old male and my hair transplant fascination journey started when I started to lose my hair 10 yrs ago.

I used finesteride and minoxidil like everyone else but I knew it was not a long term solution for me. I knew I needed a hair transplant.

So few years ago I started to consider choosing the right hair clinic to have my procedure at. I managed to narrow it down to 4 clinics in Istanbul and I decide to choose Medart.

Medart certainly was not the dearest nor the cheapest clinic but I believed they offered good value proposition for my budget.

I Knew the procedure was not going to be done entirely by the doctor and I was ok with this.

Rose from Medart was great. She was my WhatsApp contact and was extremely helpful and always kept in touch with me and answered all my questions . Fantastic PR person.

Few days before the procedure my wife and I got picked from the airport and were taken to a wonderful 5 star hotel. We decided to visit Istanbul and do a bit of site seeing before the procedure.

On the day of the procedure we were picked up from the hotel and taken to the clinic which was literally around the corner from the hotel. We met Rose and the team . I was impressed with the cleanliness of the clinic and the team friendly manner.

I had 4600 graft implanted and the entire procedure took approximately 8.5 hrs. I have to admit the administration of the anaesthetic was extremely painfully but luckily it only lasted for about 4-5 minutes( thank god).

9 months after my hair transplant, I am extremely happy with my new head of hair. Although it hasn’t been without few issues along the way. Unfortunately, I suffered from folliculitis for a while but thankfully it went away with antibiotic cream. Thanks to the ongoing communication with Rose.

My only criticism is for the technicians while performing the implanting procedure is to tone down their constant giggles and chatter while implanting the grafts. I have to say it was annoying and a bit disrespectful.

In conclusion I definitely would recommend Medart clinic for anyone who is considering having a hair transplant.

Really good service and treated well from start to finish. It’s now been 5 months and my hair line has been restored and that is only 40 percent of final result. Sarah and the team looked after me really well and highly recommend MedArt. The procedure itself took about 6 hours for 3100 grafts. It took about 3 to 4 months ( totally normal) for results to come through then it all. Urst into life and going from strength to strength . I also made friends with others who had operation at same time and they also happy with results. It was daunting at first and I did wonder whether it was all worth it (sleeping upright for 10

I had my hair transplant done at MedArt Clinic back in October 2024 in Turkey and now 8 months later, I can confidently say it was a great decision!

From the moment I arrived at the clinic, the experience was seamless. The clinic was clean and it was clear that patient care was their top priority. Every person I interacted with from the medical staff to the support staff was kind, professional, and truly dedicated to helping me feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. A special thank you goes to Rose, the clinic’s translator, who was with me every step of the way. She has also followed up every month without fail, answered all my questions, and offered constant reassurance, guidance and most importantly encouragement. Her attentiveness and kindness made the experience even more personal.

My procedure was done using the Sapphire FUE method with 4,600 grafts extracted from the donor areas at the sides and back of my head. If there is anyone struggling to choose a method, pick the doctor, not the method. Whatever your doctor is best at will be best for you. Dr. Ahmet was exceptional. He talked me through the entire process and has continued to follow up with me monthly. His skill, precision, and genuine sincerity made me feel completely confident and safe throughout. He is a true artist at what he does. The assistants were also fantastic -- attentive, and supportive from start to finish.

From pre-op to post-op, the team at MedArt made it extremely easy and comfortable. They showed me how to take care of my head and helped me prep for the future once I left Turkey. Now at the 8-month mark, my donor areas have filled in and the transplanted areas are full and strong. I’ve had zero complications, no injuries or health issues, only progress. I plan to come back to MedArt in the future to get another round as well!

I stayed at the Melas Hotel, a 5-star hotel which was included in the package I chose. It was clean and comfortable for my family and I — a perfect place to relax and recover after the procedure.

After some exhaustive research, I chose MedArt for my 4th (and hopefully last) hair transplant procedure. The deciding factor was the above and beyond communication before, during, and after the process.

After 3 procedures in the USA, I had my last one at MedArt in Istanbul last week. Photos 1&2. I was 34 years old. Photo 3 when I was 24 and the hair loss started. I started topical minoxidil and oral finasteride (1 mg) when I was 38. First procedure in 2015. 1800 grafts. Photo 4 was 3 years later. Second procedure 2019. 2000 grafts. Photo 5 was a year after that. Third procedure 2022. The front was fuller but the crown was still pretty bald. Photo 6&7 was pre-op. I grew out a Viking combover. Last Tuesday in Istanbul we did a complete clip and did 4500 grafts. 1700 front, 700 middle, and 2100 crown. The remaining photos were post op. I wish I’d started the whole process there. They were very professional, clean, and made the entire experience wonderful. And even with plane ticket, expenses, everything, it was 25% the cost of doing this in the USA.

I had a very good experience at Medart 3 weeks ago. Bilal was very helpful in answering any questions I had before deciding to get the operation. Once I landed, Medart picked me up from the airport and drove me straight to their hotel (only a couple minutes from the clinic). The driver is very friendly and helpful. On operation day, the doctors tailored the transplant to what I wanted. The operation itself was relatively quick, and the doctors explained each step along the way. After the operation, Rose was very helpful in explaining the post-op process and all the do's and don'ts to be aware of. She checked in every day and seemed genuinely interested in the success of my operation. She even bought me a button-down shirt that I would need to for the first few days. I felt taken care of and highly recommend this anyone considering a hair transplant.

Just had my first hair transplant with medart and can say that from the beginning the team were very good at communicating and helping me with any anxiety I had, I found the price at medart very good as well compared to some other places that were a lot higher. Dr Sumer, Rose and the team are very helpful in answering any questions you have as well. The only reason I didn’t vote 5 star was because the hotel I had was underwhelming but the private transfers and everything else was great and hopefully a few months down the line I can leave another part to this review about the results in a positive light but all good looking so far
