My experience with Medart was excellent. I found out about them through social media, and after comparing several clinics, the one that convinced me the most was Medart, due to their attention, follow-up, and support in answering all my questions and concerns. The surgery process was also very good—they accompany you at all times, from assistance with lodging and transportation to support during the surgery itself. Likewise, the following day, they help with the first washes and provide clear instructions to follow. Overall, highly recommended.

The whole experience was pretty good. The transplant surgery with Dr. Ahmet went really well. The staff, specially Rose, was super supportive during and even after the stay. I received amazing results just 6 months post operation and it is becoming better every passing week. Highly recommended!

I am 61 yrs old male and my hair transplant fascination journey started when I started to lose my hair 10 yrs ago.

I used finesteride and minoxidil like everyone else but I knew it was not a long term solution for me. I knew I needed a hair transplant.

So few years ago I started to consider choosing the right hair clinic to have my procedure at. I managed to narrow it down to 4 clinics in Istanbul and I decide to choose Medart.

The reason I chose Medart is because of their honest marketing, online feedback and people's positive comments.

Medart certainly was not the dearest nor the cheapest clinic but I believed they offered good value proposition for my budget.

I Knew the procedure was not going to be done entirely by the doctor and I was ok with this.

Rose from Medart was great. She was my WhatsApp contact and was extremely helpful and always kept in touch with me and answered all my questions . Fantastic PR person.

Few days before the procedure my wife and I got picked from the airport and were taken to a wonderful 5 star hotel. We decided to visit Istanbul and do a bit of site seeing before the procedure.

On the day of the procedure we were picked up from the hotel and taken to the clinic which was literally around the corner from the hotel. We met Rose and the team . I was impressed with the cleanliness of the clinic and the team friendly manner.

I had 4600 graft implanted and the entire procedure took approximately 8.5 hrs. I have to admit the administration of the anaesthetic was extremely painfully but luckily it only lasted for about 4-5 minutes( thank god).

9 months after my hair transplant, I am extremely happy with my new head of hair. Although it hasn’t been without few issues along the way. Unfortunately, I suffered from folliculitis for a while but thankfully it went away with antibiotic cream. Thanks to the ongoing communication with Rose.

My only criticism is for the technicians while performing the implanting procedure is to tone down their constant giggles and chatter while implanting the grafts. I have to say it was annoying and a bit disrespectful.

In conclusion I definitely would recommend Medart clinic for anyone who is considering having a hair transplant.

Really good service and treated well from start to finish. It’s now been 5 months and my hair line has been restored and that is only 40 percent of final result. Sarah and the team looked after me really well and highly recommend MedArt. The procedure itself took about 6 hours for 3100 grafts. It took about 3 to 4 months ( totally normal) for results to come through then it all. Urst into life and going from strength to strength . I also made friends with others who had operation at same time and they also happy with results. It was daunting at first and I did wonder whether it was all worth it (sleeping upright for 10
Days etc) but once you see the results start to come through glad it was all worth it. Sarah. And team reach out and always there providing aftercare service and advice .

Fantastic Experience at MedArt Clinic

I had my hair transplant done at MedArt Clinic back in October 2024 in Turkey and now 8 months later, I can confidently say it was a great decision!

From the moment I arrived at the clinic, the experience was seamless. The clinic was clean and it was clear that patient care was their top priority. Every person I interacted with from the medical staff to the support staff was kind, professional, and truly dedicated to helping me feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. A special thank you goes to Rose, the clinic’s translator, who was with me every step of the way. She has also followed up every month without fail, answered all my questions, and offered constant reassurance, guidance and most importantly encouragement. Her attentiveness and kindness made the experience even more personal.

My procedure was done using the Sapphire FUE method with 4,600 grafts extracted from the donor areas at the sides and back of my head. If there is anyone struggling to choose a method, pick the doctor, not the method. Whatever your doctor is best at will be best for you. Dr. Ahmet was exceptional. He talked me through the entire process and has continued to follow up with me monthly. His skill, precision, and genuine sincerity made me feel completely confident and safe throughout. He is a true artist at what he does. The assistants were also fantastic -- attentive, and supportive from start to finish.

From pre-op to post-op, the team at MedArt made it extremely easy and comfortable. They showed me how to take care of my head and helped me prep for the future once I left Turkey. Now at the 8-month mark, my donor areas have filled in and the transplanted areas are full and strong. I’ve had zero complications, no injuries or health issues, only progress. I plan to come back to MedArt in the future to get another round as well!

I stayed at the Melas Hotel, a 5-star hotel which was included in the package I chose. It was clean and comfortable for my family and I — a perfect place to relax and recover after the procedure.

To anyone considering this: if hair loss has been a struggle for you and you’re able to do something about it, please know there is a solution. MedArt Clinic has changed my life — not just in terms of appearance, but in the way I feel about myself every day. I’m beyond grateful for the results and the entire experience. After some exhaustive research, I chose MedArt for my 4th (and hopefully last) hair transplant procedure. The deciding factor was the above and beyond communication before, during, and after the process.

After 3 procedures in the USA, I had my last one at MedArt in Istanbul last week. Photos 1&2. I was 34 years old. Photo 3 when I was 24 and the hair loss started. I started topical minoxidil and oral finasteride (1 mg) when I was 38. First procedure in 2015. 1800 grafts. Photo 4 was 3 years later. Second procedure 2019. 2000 grafts. Photo 5 was a year after that. Third procedure 2022. The front was fuller but the crown was still pretty bald. Photo 6&7 was pre-op. I grew out a Viking combover. Last Tuesday in Istanbul we did a complete clip and did 4500 grafts. 1700 front, 700 middle, and 2100 crown. The remaining photos were post op. I wish I’d started the whole process there. They were very professional, clean, and made the entire experience wonderful. And even with plane ticket, expenses, everything, it was 25% the cost of doing this in the USA.

I had a very good experience at Medart 3 weeks ago. Bilal was very helpful in answering any questions I had before deciding to get the operation. Once I landed, Medart picked me up from the airport and drove me straight to their hotel (only a couple minutes from the clinic). The driver is very friendly and helpful. On operation day, the doctors tailored the transplant to what I wanted. The operation itself was relatively quick, and the doctors explained each step along the way. After the operation, Rose was very helpful in explaining the post-op process and all the do's and don'ts to be aware of. She checked in every day and seemed genuinely interested in the success of my operation. She even bought me a button-down shirt that I would need to for the first few days. I felt taken care of and highly recommend this anyone considering a hair transplant.

Just had my first hair transplant with medart and can say that from the beginning the team were very good at communicating and helping me with any anxiety I had, I found the price at medart very good as well compared to some other places that were a lot higher. Dr Sumer, Rose and the team are very helpful in answering any questions you have as well. The only reason I didn’t vote 5 star was because the hotel I had was underwhelming but the private transfers and everything else was great and hopefully a few months down the line I can leave another part to this review about the results in a positive light but all good looking so far

I had a hair transplant at Medar Hair Istanbul in November, and I am very, very pleased with the outcome so far. I must admit, the first weeks were tough—especially between the 2nd and 4th months. However, the clinic and its staff have been impeccable throughout the entire process. From the beginning, they set the right expectations and have consistently followed up with me during my journey.

The procedure itself was as expected, with some pain, but it was manageable. The doctors and clinic staff were always supportive and attentive, which made a big difference. Although I am still in the process (it’s now been 6.5 months since my procedure), I am very happy and grateful for the results.

I had a great experience with Medart. I’d been chatting with them for a year trying to decide when I’d get the transplant done. Talked to several other clinics but I really liked Medart’s communication and how they actually outlined how many grafts I’d need for each area of my head. 800 for crown and 3800 for middle and front.

I had been talking to Rose every step of the way. She was always around to answer any questions regarding setting up my appointment + post-op care.

I like how it’s a small team because this ensures your care is personalized. Everyone from Rose, to driver Ferit, to Dr Yeni, and the wonderful staff helped me have a great operation.

The consultation is performed by Dr Yeni, he analyzes your scalp, and then draws a personalized hairline based off what you want. The nurses perform the actual follicle extraction, then Dr Yeni comes and does all the incisions, finally the nurses plant the grafts. There was Doctor involvement throughout the process.

The most painful part is the initial anesthesia application, especially around the ears. It’s like a quick and sharp prick but then the anesthetic kicks in and you don’t feel anything. My operation required 4600 grafts and took around 8.5 hours from start to finish.

They’re very diligent about post-op care. The day after the operation, they pick you up to get your bandages off. Next day is the first wash and day 1 of 3 wearing a headband to reduce swelling. The trick to combat swelling is to drink a A LOT of water!

I’m at day 13 post-op currently and very happy with the results so far. Looking forward to seeing the full results in the coming months. I would definitely recommend Medart for someone getting a hair transplant.

The surgical staff was very professional and thorough. I did not feel unsafe at any point. Though, if any criticism is welcome, then it would be the lack of communication. I for one would like to have been more in contact throughout the experience as it’s a big step for me as a patient - but now being in the other side of things, I can understand from the staffs point of view how this is not for the lack of wanting but rather the lack of being able to speak any other language, including English, than Turkish. The staff is friendly and quite helpful in any ways they can, and will take good care of your regardless of you being able to communicate with them or not.

Had a great experience at the Medart clinic. Everything was well prepared and great communication from the whole team. All travel and accommodation was organised (hotel was really nice). Dr Sumer was very kind and part of the procedure every step of the way. Procedure was surprisingly not painful (after the anesthetic ).

I had an excellent experience with this clinic. After weeks of careful research, looking up reviews on reddit, etc., I discovered this clinic on Instagram.

I spoke with the point of contact person, Bilal through WhatsApp by phone for a while before deciding to go through with the procedure. After sending him the requested photos of my head, he walked me through a list of recommended services. He was informative and was not pushy, which made me more comfortable with the choice of clinic.

A few weeks later, I decided to make the trip solo from the US (Seattle). Overall, I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. Everything was taken care of from the moment I was picked up from their airport shuttle, to being dropped back off at the airport to return home. This included the clinic shuttles to and from the hotel, the procedure, the follow-up washes, etc. The hotel I stayed in was also very nice and had free breakfast every morning.

The staff was friendly, professional and accommodating throughout the entire process. They were also quick to answer any questions/inquiries I had throughout my time there. Dr. Sumer was very detail oriented, and I can tell he cares about his patient's results.

It has now been just over two weeks since the procedure. The clinic has continued to follow up and provide additional instructions on my recovery regularly via WhatsApp. I highly recommend this clinic.

Innanzitutto, un grazie sincero ad Ettore Casolin, influencer e youtuber impegnato nella divulgazione di informazioni sulla tricologia di alto valore, che stimo tanto e che, con la sua iniziativa, ha reso possibile un’esperienza unica: un trapianto di gruppo, un modo intelligente e umano per affrontare un passo importante, insieme.

La scelta è stata 'MedArt Hair Clinic' a Istanbul, e fin da subito ho capito di essere nel posto giusto: struttura pulita e moderna, staff gentile e super organizzati, dall’aeroporto fino al mio rientro. Ma soprattutto, non è la classica clinica low-cost che lavora "in massa": qui ci sono solo 4 equipe specializzate (da anni le stesse persone) e un solo chirurgo che si occupa personalmente delle fasi più delicate. Un approccio che fa davvero la differenza.

L’intervento è intenso, certo, ma affrontabile (l'anestesia è il momento difficile, ma superata questa è stato tutto in discesa). Ho avuto qualche piccolo imprevisto nel post-operatorio, ma anche da remoto sono sempre stati presenti ed esaustivi, con un grazie speciale a Rose, gentilissima e super disponibile.

Oggi, a sei mesi dall’intervento, i risultati sono più che visibili, e si sentono: capelli sì, ma soprattutto autostima e leggerezza ritrovate!
