Das Einzige, was mir fehlte (meckern auf hohem Niveau) war nochmal eine ausführliche Ernährungsberatung - vor allem für die ersten Tage. Dies wurde kurz vor dem Eingriff nur schnell durchgesprochen. Eine Broschüre o.ä. wäre schöner gewesen, da ich doch sehr aufgeregt war und alles nur schnell hinter mich bringen wollte :)

Ansonsten bin ich voll und ganz zufrieden!

Very dangerous and unprofessional experience

I had a gastric balloon procedure at Mediczech in Prague a few months ago. After the procedure, I experienced severe pain, and despite sending several emails, I received almost no support. Eventually, a translator replied, saying she was sick and not working, and later told me that my pain was “normal.”

Ten days later, I started vomiting blood and had to go to the emergency department in Germany. The doctors there diagnosed that the balloon was too large for my stomach, causing internal injury. It had to be urgently removed under anesthesia, which took two attempts because of the size.

When I informed Mediczech that they had inserted the wrong size balloon, they refused responsibility and said it was not their fault.

This was an extremely dangerous and traumatic experience. I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone. Patient safety and proper care should be the first priority, but unfortunately, I did not experience that here.

I cannot recommend enough a whole clinic and its personnel. My medical coordinator Tereza is an absolute star! Even tho I was in a foreign country it felt so right -was surrounded by bunch of lovely and friendly people. Dr Skala himself-he deffo is a magic maker! Massive knowledge,loads of experience was very reassuring. If you ever wants to have a procedure done abroad -mediczech are your way to go! My stay was organised from A-Z.Apartament was simply stunning, food in a nearby restaurant was delicious! Please get in touch with Tereza! Thank you ever so much for making my dream come true! I decided to go to prague for extended arm lift with liposuction and I'm so glad i picked Dr Skála at mediczech for my surgery, he was so professional and made me at ease told me me everything that would be done, I'm now 3 weeks post op and I'm delighted with my results so far, i cant fault a thing, they where so caring & nothing was to much for them, i also cant forget Tereza what a lady! helped me from start to finish with any questions i had and i had a-lot 😁 amazing English and was with me every step of the way. I had that good of an experience & results so far I'm planning on returning.

After been recommended Dr Skala at mediczech decided to book my arm lift with him. The booking was through Dr Skalas coordinator tereza who was amazing spoke perfect English and great communication. From start to finish the expats fantastic, all needs were met and all staff spoke English and were caring and helpful. Would highly recommend the clinic and surgeon .Extremely happy with my results and looking forward to the summer and showing off my new arms.

AWFUL RESULTS

Well where do I start ! …….. I did a lot of research trying to find the right surgeon and after 2 years I finally narrowed it down to Dr Skala in Prague.
I really didn’t want to go to turkey as I heard a lot of horror stories, so after joining a group who had surgery with Dr skala I felt very comfortable choosing him and going abroad to Prague.
From the start I was put in contact with the lovely Tereza who kept me informed from start to finish of everything I needed to know and any questions I had she answered straight away .
We arrived in Prague with our taxi there waiting for us … took us straight to our beautiful hotel , next day Tereza had organised all the taxis and they arrived promptly on time .
Met Tereza who was just as friendly and lovely as everyone on the group had said she was . Everything was explained, then I met the lovely Dr Skala , surgery went very well and we was back in the hotel before I knew it !
My recovery was so good we was off sightseeing around Prague the next day !
I had my stitches out on day 10 in England with my local nurse and she commented on how extremely neat my scars were ….. in fact everyone has commented how good my scars are !
So Dr Skala really has lived up to his hype .
Just an amazing experience from start to finish and I wouldn’t hesitate in going back for anything else .

Tereza assisted me from start to finish with everything I could have possibly needed, from booking the surgery, any questions I had in between and even checking up on me in the weeks that followed after my surgery.

I could not fault Dr Skala. I believe I went into my consultation with a good idea of what I wanted but I left the decision of implant size/shape down to him and I am so glad that I did! I could not be happier with my results and the confidence I have been given has truly changed my life.

I would definitely recommend bringing a companion with you if you are from the UK going over to Prague for a surgery. As someone that had never had a surgery before and didn't quite know what to expect, I think if I were on my own I would have found it quite difficult.

I travelled to Prague to have my first ever procedure (Breast Augmentation) with Dr Skala. I am absolutely in love with the results, he certainly knows what he is doing and I would 100% recommend! Tereza made sure everything went to plan and I felt safe and at ease, great team and extremely professional 😊

I travelled with my daughter in sept of this year for her to have a breast reduction and lift . Dr Boris was her surgeon and we would totally recommend him , he was very through amd put us both at ease throughout. Big shout out to Tereza who arranged everything for us which took every bit of stress out of the travelling etc. The apartments above the clinic was fantastic and everything that we needed on hand . I wouldn’t hesitate to use Mediczech for any other surgery or procedure ! Thanks to all involved

my journey started 2 years ago after i booked a TT, i chose Dr Skala as he had previously done my breast reduction & uplift with great results, along with upper blepharoplasty to my eyes ,another great result. Being diagnosed type 1 diabetic that year , i felt safe and knew i would be looked after at Mediczech , with both my coordinators & my surgeon , this was proven correct when on the day of my TT i had all my blood works done along with other tests, how ever, my blood sugars were high that morning , ( i was new to diabetes & didnt realise ) the interim doctor & coordinator came to see me & told me they could not operate due to this, however dissapointing this was at the time, they did the correct thing and my health and safety was put first i am very grateful for this.
Covid then came about, and everything came to a standstill , in this time i got to grips with my diabetes , my blood sugars were under control & i also lost weight! i rebooked my op for January this year at long last! Arriving at Mediczech i was shown to my room, which was spotlessly clean and adequate , while my partner stayed on site in the Jungle apartments upstairs , this time all went well, i was fit and healthy to go ahead with my op, exciting times at last! The operation was completed with no complications , and i awoke in my room with lots of care from the nurses , nothing was too much for them & their English was exceptionally good ! Dr Skala came round the next morning to check all was well, giving good advice on how to manage etc. i stayed 2 nights, then went up to the apartments for the remainder of the week. The apartments are well kitted out everything you could possibly need, toaster , hob, microwave , a superb huge bed and even Netflix !
After returning home, i developed a swelling that caused me some discomfort , i sent photos to Tina via WhatsApp and was given immediate advise which was to return to the clinic to see Dr Skala, this was well organised and i was back within a week, i had a hematoma which needed drained , this was entirely down to my own body and not my surgeon , i was taken in and the hematoma was removed very easy i then spent 2 days back in the apartment all free of charge. Fast forward a few weeks and my swelling had completely gone leaving me with a nice flat tummy, my scar was already amazing ! Now its been just over 7 months and i am more than happy with Dr Skala's work, so happy infact i am returning in the New Year for my 4th op with him on my back. I feel in incredibly safe hands ! I cannot thank Mediczech and all its staff for looking after me so well , and especially to Tina who has always been just a message away. x

Impressed with the whole experience including the staff involved in both the insertion and removal procedures, hotel stay, transfers and for the assistance of Tereza in pulling it all together. I lost the predicted amount of weight in the estimated time by following the advice I was provided with. I felt well throughout and feel so much fitter and healthier since arriving at a healthy BMI. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this clinic and procedure.

From start to finish the process was easy and I felt safe throughout my visit.

Tereza was welcoming and Dr Skala has really changed my life with his work.

Very efficient and attentive staff. As a Canadian visitor, I felt welcome and treated with care and attentiveness. I appreciated the candor the doctors and the follow up reviews. My results are over and above my expectations. I would definitely recommend.

I'll continue posting. You can't bully me Mediczech 🖕 reason they have so many good reviews is! They attempt to threaten legal action. They also make people sign none disclosures.

I Traveled on My own from UK to Prague, Had a Wonderful experience with Dr. Martin Skala, he done a great job, Im very happy with a result straight after, also hospital staff is amazing, very polite and helpful when you ask for painkillers or something else.
Also I have to mention a very helpful Jana Frantlova, she’s assisted me from beginning to the end of discharge, she was checking on my every day if is everything okay.
I stayed 2 nights at clinic and then clinic had their own apartments on top floor, which I take advantage of it and stayed there for another 2 nights , so I can recover a bit more xx Apartment is very nice , spacious and so clean!
After 4 nights I managed to fly back home to UK on my own and everything went well.
Definitely recommending Medicech clinic
Now Im 5 months after tummy tuck and lipo and I feel amazing !

Dr.Skala hat im Januar eine Bauchdeckenstraffung Abdominalplastik bei mir vorgenommen Das ganze Team ; sowie Dr.Skala haben super gearbeitet! Das Ergebnis ist einfach sensationell ! Wenn ich in den Spiegel schaue kann ich es immer noch nicht glauben! Ich habe die Klinik bereits weiter empfohlen und es werden noch einige meiner Familie und Freundinnen kommen! Die Schwestern waren super lieb und sprachen alle sehr gut englisch ! Blanka hat mich von Anfang bis Ende sehr, sehr gut betreut ! Ich fühlte mich mehr als gut aufgehoben in der Klinik !
