Misleading shipping, unexpected customs fees

I ordered from mishimoto.eu assuming the product would ship from Europe, as the domain strongly suggests.
Instead, the item was shipped from outside the EU, and I was charged €25 in customs fees on delivery.

I contacted customer support explaining the situation and asking for help or partial compensation, but they refused to assist in any way.

This is misleading for EU customers and something buyers should know before ordering, as customs charges can easily apply.

I’m leaving this review to protect other buyers from unexpected costs. Be aware that mishimoto.eu does NOT ship from Europe.

Livraison rapide et produit okay (d'où les 2 étoiles). Par contre, grand questionnement par rapport à la démarche et la prise au sérieux des clients : Pourquoi un produit probablement venant de Chine doit faire un détour par l'UK, générant obligatoirement des frais de dédouanement supplémentaire ? Et puis une grande négligence (en vous accordant le bénéfice du doute qu'il n'y a pas d'intention) en déclarant la valeur du produit en livre sterling (montant payé en euro qui n'est simplement pas converti) et en omettant les frais de transport (13€, mais comme ce n'est pas mentionné, la douane française utilise un forfait de 50€) pour calculer la base d'imposition. Du coup, on se retrouve avec un supplément qui est considérablement plus élevé que nécessaire et adapté (dans notre cas 20%). Ça manque malheureusement de sérieux !

I bought a radiator from .EU site. How they use .EU site and send it out of EU?! I checked FAQ and all site, never said shipping from UK. Tells DPD shipping company, but is sent with DHL and they apply 76,50eur fee... I paid in eur, invoice GBP and taxes was calculated with convertion GBP to EUR... shame you Mishimoto

I placed an order on Mishimoto.eu Europe to avoid import taxes when buying on Mishimoto.com US and it turns out that when my order arrives DHL claims me 52,09% import charges! My first and last time buying from Mishimoto. If you are from the European Union do not buy in Mishimoto.eu or you will have to pay +52% taxes. A scam website to call Mishimoto "Europe" and then rob you an extra 50%.
