My son had an amazing two weeks at the Mother Nature Science Summer Camp in Hampstead, North West London. He looked forward to attending each day and found the experiments fascinating. He always came home excited to tell us about the experiments and new things he had learnt. He also felt comfortable expressing himself and made some new friends. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and enriching experience for him.

The style of teaching and the activities were engaging with the opportunity to bring them home to showcase them to family members.

On 4th June, I booked and paid for a week's summer STEM camp at a venue directly next to our flat. I thought it was too good to be true that such a great summer childcare option was just a stones-throw away from where we lived.

As it happens, it *was* too good to be true.

On 5th August, just 12 days before the camp was due to start, they emailed me saying the camp was cancelled that week at that venue. If they'd have contacted me an even just a few days earlier, I'd have been able to make other arrangements, but at such short notice, there just weren't any suitable alternatives available. It's sent our summer into disarray and caused a considerable amount of distress, which I'm still trying to sort out a week later.

I'm honestly quite furious.

The reason I'm awarding two stars instead of one is because at least they were professional about it. They offered alternative locations (sadly none of them would have worked - even though one was "only" 30 mins away, the timings just didn't fit our plans), credit-on-file (ha - no way would I trust them again after this), an offer of a different week (this would have been an option if we'd have had more notice), or a full refund. We had not choice but to go for the refund. And after just one gentle reminder to them, the refund arrived promptly. Fair play to them at least for that.

But still... cancelling summer childcare with 12 days notice? Really? Based on my experience, I can't recommend these people at all.

Both my children had a fantastic time learnt a lot. They came home each having learnt something new about science and have both said they would very much like to attend again, at Mother Nature Science Summer Camps in Surbiton, Kingston Upon Thames

My son loved the environment (teachers, children, attitude) and range of activities (themes, projects, take-home activities, quiz book). He came out happy and stimulated, and had clearly enjoyed and retained learning from the day. He made a friend early on, and thrived on the smaller group of slightly older and clearly well-mannered children.

My child LOVED the mother nature science camp in Ealing, came home excited every day and wants to become a scientist! Thank you! Loved, Loved, Loved it. He would love to do chemistry experiments next. And wants me to sign him up for 6 weeks next summer!

My child absolutely loved the Slime activity! The camp at Winston Churchill Lycée was fantastic, and my 6‑year‑old enjoyed every single day of the week.

Awesome place to spark interest in science, staff take good care, all well planned. Highly recommended

It’s not easy to impress him, but this camp did. For the first time he’s been this happy going to summer camp.

The club ignited my sons’ imaginations. They absolutely loved Mother Nature Science club and couldn’t stop talking about it when they got home.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Mother Nature Science for our child’s party. Marvellous Maham was exceptional—engaging, fun, and incredibly skilled at keeping a large group of 20+ children (aged 5 years) completely absorbed from start to finish. It’s no small feat to hold that level of attention, but she managed it effortlessly.
The company was also wonderfully accommodating when it came to tailoring the party package to suit our needs, which made the whole experience feel very personal and well thought through. The slime-making activity was a huge highlight and the bubble add-on brought even more fun and laughter to the session.

Everything was delivered with professionalism and enthusiasm, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into making these parties special. I was so impressed that I’m already looking for an excuse to book them again. Highly recommended!

The presenters were just fantastic with the kids, who were all captivated by it all. They managed to keep an overexcited bunch of 8-year-olds engaged and interested - no mean feat! Thank you so much!

My son loved everything about it. Building Rockets, learning about stars, physics. Everything. It was great!

My Son Nicolas who is 6 and is not so much interested by academic topic, just loves going to the camp and learn lot of interesting facts that he ignored and he is happy to tell. We always have a tote bag full of his creation, inventions which he is so proud to show.I recommend the camp strongly.

My daughter loved the small group and the opportunity to make things herself. She also loved the free craft time as well. She has enjoyed retelling the day when she comes home and shows us the experiments that she has done. We have struggled to find a camp she likes as most are very sporty and this is the first time she has come back excited to go the next day

The sessions were engaging, well organised and pitched perfectly for the different age groups. The children were thoroughly enthusiastic throughout the day and were particularly excited to take home their finished items and share what they had learned. Bella was brilliant with the pupils and staff alike, and the workshops ran very smoothly.

We are extremely grateful for the time, energy, and expertise you brought into school, and it was a pleasure to welcome Mother Nature Science. We would love to work with you again in the future.
