Bar stools purchase
I had search and search for hours on the internet for some good quality bar stools that were different to the usual ones you can get on the high street and then stumbled across Modish! What a fabulous find!!! Easy purchase, quick delivery and I’ve got the best quality and unique bar stools. I’ll be coming back for the matching dining chairs. We're sorry to hear that the finish and overall quality of the bar stools didn’t meet your expectations. This isn’t the level of quality we aim to deliver, and your comments have been shared with our team.
We’ve recently begun working with a new supplier on this particular item, and while we do have quality checks in place, it seems this one may have fallen short. Please rest assured this is not typical of our range — many of our pieces are made to the same standards as those of larger, well-known furniture brands.

2 bar stools faulty
2 bar stools arrived. Well packaged, was impressed until we started to put them together. The base of the stools have nut and bolt holes to fix the seat cushions to it however the holes are in the wrong place and therefore cannot secure the seat to the base. Also has a stain on one seat cushion. Emailed them and explained. They replied offering replacement parts or a full refund. I said replacements would be good but best to send out 2 new stools instead of parts. They then have not replied. I followed up with an email asking for a full refund and still no reply. Now seeking a refund through my bank.

We’re truly sorry to hear about the issues with your bar stools and, more importantly, the delay in our response after your request for a full refund. We want to assure you—and anyone reading this—that we are absolutely not a company that leaves customers waiting or ignored. Providing reliable service and swift resolutions is at the heart of how we operate.
Unfortunately, due to a temporary system update to our customer service software, your final email requesting a refund did not show up in our CRM as it should have. This was completely outside of our control and not something we took lightly. The moment your email came through after the update was complete, we processed a full refund immediately—no questions asked.
There is no need to go through your bank or initiate a chargeback, as the refund has already been applied on our end. Please allow a few business days for it to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider.
We’re genuinely sorry for both the product issue and the communication gap. While mistakes do happen, we take full responsibility for the inconvenience this caused and are already reviewing our internal processes to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
If there’s anything further we can do to restore your confidence in us, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Exceptional service …
I ordered the Turin beige 5 seater outdoor sofa set. Delivery was prompt and after assembling the two chairs and table, I was unable to assemble the couch as two of the legs were dented.
I emailed Modish that day and the next morning they were back in touch requesting pictures of the damage. I sent these and 24 hours later a replacement couch was delivered with a pack of screws as there were 2 missing from the original package.
They asked me to put the faulty couch in the box which the replacement came in and they will collect it.
Just exceptional service.
I would highly recommend this company and also the beautiful, high quality Turin outdoor lounge set.

From order to delivery (and set up) was just 5 days! The sofa is true to description and is so lovely. We needed to add some “non slip” mats under the cushions but other than that the service was amazing with communication throughout.

The bar stools I ordered are perfect except for one small detail on the seat which Imran dealt with in a friendly efficient manner plus the carriers were 3 days late and a small refund for the trouble was deposited into my bank to compensate for the carrier delays. Excellent customer service with prompt replies. I bought 6 dining chairs, 6 bar stools, 2 sofas, many cushions, ornaments and throws. Every item was of beautiful quality and delivered within the timescale. A little issue with the sofas, nothing major, however this was dealt with perfectly and I can’t fault them as a business. Will definitely purchase more items from this company again.
