Great experience

Like the last person I don’t often write reviews but I was really pleased with the whole order process and great messaging. The gift was delivered much earlier than anticipated and was lovely. I think it made someone’s day so thanks Monty & Ridge. Will definitely use you again.

I don’t often do reviews, so when I do I really mean it! They ‘bent over backwards’ to make sure that the gift I ordered was exactly what I wanted.

Cannot praise Monty & Ridge enough

Cannot praise Monty & Ridge enough. I ordered hampers for a corporate event and they were beautifully presented with a lovely selection of sweet and savoury treats, all the winners loved them!
Hampers were despatched and delivered exactly when promised.
I communicated both by phone and email and each time received friendly helpful advice
Gemma and her team are truly amazing and a small company I would definitely recommend

The commmunication with the company was…

The commmunication with the company was great as responses were fast and as helpful as they could be but as the product was not sent as tracked I cannot tell if it was delivered as it was an anonymous gift so I cannot just ask the recipient.

For the price of the item I would prefer tracking to tell if the parcel was delivered

Many thanks for your review Angela. We corresponded over email about your parcel at the time of being made aware of the original failed delivery, and did our very best to help you, including speaking to Royal Mail head office to try and assist, and I understood that you were satisfied with the outcome as we had not heard from you since this. Letterbox gifts are treated as 'large letters' in the post by Royal Mail, and therefore do not have full tracking included with them - this is explained in the delivery information available on the website. However, the 'tracking' links provided do have delivery confirmation, so you can see delivery attempts made. Issues arose for you as the parcel delivery address was one that is unavailable on Saturdays, and so delivery to the recipient was unsuccessful. We spoke to Royal Mail on your behalf about the automatic redelivery protocol, who told us that there had been staffing issues at the local depot, and that it may be a couple of days late in redelivery. It should have been redelivered the next working day or soon after, but as this review implied that it had not, we have looked into it further for you. When investigating, we were unable to track any movement of the parcel from the depot after this point. Although our delivery guarantee only guarantees one delivery attempt, delivery has been logged as attempted, and we cannot know for sure if the parcel has been delivered as you specifically requested it was sent anonymously so you cannot ask them, we have sent a replacement on an urgent delivery service, and waived our charges for doing so. We have corresponded with you and understand this has resolved the situation to your satisfaction. Customer service is of utmost importance to us and we take any issues very seriously - this is no exception. Kind regards, Gemma

The product is lovely, the customer service even better

The product is lovely, but what made my experience really great was that having paid for express delivery and then waited over a week for the present (missing my friend's birthday) Monty & Ridge were brilliant about refunding the express delivery payment.
It wasn't their fault, they don't deliver the products themselves but they totally took responsibility and sent the most empathetic and friendly email (thanks Gemma!).
100% will be back x

All brilliant - communication, speed of dealing with the order & including an additional item afterwards, and the recipient was delighted with the box and quality of items.

Amazing customer service

Recently had to contact after order not being received. Order placed during Christmas rush and has gone awol in the meantime. Gemma was fabulous, so willing to help and 1st class support to the customer, she couldn't have been more helpful. It isn't often to have such an amazing customer experience when something has gone wrong. Happy to look into and assist in resolving. No doubt I would recommend this small business to others or use again. Amazing!
