Unprofessional - don’t waste your time!

Very helpful whenever I have had any queries with my insurance, been with them for a few years now.

Just gone back to MR after a few years. Used them many years ago and had an accident claim which they paid out swiftly and fully. Upon current renewal, they were much cheaper than my existing suppliers and with better cover.

Unprofessional - they quoted for my business insurance. I asked for clarification of a couple of points. Never heard from them again, despite emailing Lynn [who I was dealing with] twice to ask for an update. Presumably the underwriters didn't want to insure us after all but a quick courtesy email to let me know would have been welcome. Such a waste of time - seems they'll only keep in touch if they think they're going to get your money. I wouldn't hold out much hope if you ever need to claim.

I haven’t had to claim. But have recently taken out a new insurance policy with them. Reading the previous reviews didn’t put me off as my old company didn’t cover covid either. - sadly Not many did.
This wasn’t why I changed companies . The premium quoted by Morgan Richardson and the professional manner that the employees I dealt with made me decide to change to them for my cover . Mandie was very good in explaining all the policy details and quick to send through the documentation. So I’m hopeful in the event of a claim the same customer service will continue. !

I also have been let down by this company with business interruption insurance, i will be taking legal advice/action and will be changing my insurance company from now on.

I too am so disappointed with the attitude of this company towards business interruption insurance claims. It is said that the the true worth of an insurance is the effectiveness of dealing with a claim, I have been with the company for many years with the understanding that I was covered for business interruption, the pandemic and subsequent lock down is a clear example when the insurance should be paid out, but once again we see an Insurance company acting dishonestly and avoiding their responsibility, like many other businesses I was mis sold this Insurance. I have now cancelled the insurance and will never use this company again.

Terrible company, won’t pay out business interruption although it covers notifiable disease, covid was made a notifiable disease on the 5th of March 2020 at 6.15pm weeks before lockdown. Going to seek legal advice now. I thought after the supreme court ruling they would have changed their mind but no. I renewed in December but never again and if they are in breach of contract i will be cancelling my policy immediately. Quick enough to take people’s money, this company can’t be trusted

Have been with this company for a few years paying thousands never a claim, now when businesses need help they won't pay out on Business Interruption claiming that coronavirus is not a notifiable disease. Its companies like these that are helping businesses to close down.
I will never use again or any company that uses AIG.

Have been with this company for a few years and never claimed. When I tried to claim for business interruption they said the 100%proof policy didn't cover it. Not even a 'goodwill' token payout in these difficult, challenging times. Avoid!

Insurance is not worth the paper it's written on. Had been a business insurance customer for 10 years and taken out additional cover for business interruption. When Covid came along we assumed we would be covered as it was classified as a notifiable disease by the government. Despite this they refuse to pay and we are now in the process of complaining to the Financial Ombudsman. I advise all other policy holders in a similar situation to make a formal complaint to the ombudsman and FCA in a hope payment will be made.

I checked my policy for Business interruption and saw that we would be covered for noticeable disease as Covid19 is definitely the aforementioned I didn’t think there would be a problem WRONG they read from a script they take your money and do NOTHING I will NOT be renewing my policy in May

I wanted to give this company zero stars, just like the help I got from them after being a loyal customer for 3 years. They sold it to me every year by promising me that their insurence is "profetional" so if I have a B&B, I can find in this policy everything important to a B&B, every thing but....a no-job-no-money situation.
of course I didn't go back to them!

Had business interruption touch of class full cover including notifiable diseases when I went to claim in the novel coronavirus pandemic was told it doesn’t cover . Even though the Uk have listed it as a notifiable disease . Been a customer for over 25 years On and off and never Made a claim . When you need them they refuse .

This company should NOT be used at all costs! All information given and quote given and accepted. Hours later told they cannot insure. A complete waste of time.
Called to ask why and complain and no reply.
