Second Time Using Them — Still Amazing
I’ve used Mortgage Focus twice now, and both times they’ve been excellent. Their communication is clear, and they’re always quick to respond to any questions. Jimmy and Grant really know their stuff and give thorough, honest advice that’s genuinely in the client’s best interest.

Mortgagefocus (Joanne and Grant) provided an exceptional level of service throughout my first home-buying experience. After spending 1.5 years working with various mortgage advisors without progress, I was genuinely impressed by their professionalism, clarity, and support from the very first conversation.
Both Joanne and Grant were warm, informative, and consistently went above and beyond to guide us through each stage. The entire process — from my initial call with Grant to collecting my keys — took around 12–13 weeks, and they secured a decision in principle that was double what my previous advisor had offered.

Grant and Joanne – Absolute Life Savers!
After being refused by another broker, Mortgage Focus helped me secure a mortgage within just one day. I found Grant and Joanne to be incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the whole process.
Not only did they help us get the mortgage approved quickly, but they also went above and beyond by fighting on our behalf with the lender when Barclays initially rejected the developer’s building insurance. Thanks to their persistence and expertise, Barclays eventually accepted the insurance on their approved panel.
I’m extremely grateful for their support and dedication. I would highly recommend Mortgage Focus to anyone looking for a reliable and proactive broker, and I’ll definitely be coming back to them when it’s time to re-mortgage in a few years!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Mortgage Focus. From the very beginning, Jimmy and Joanne have been fantastic. As first-time buyers, we’ve really appreciated Jimmy’s patience and clarity in explaining each step of the process. He’s always been happy to answer any question we’ve thrown at him - even filling in the gaps left by less-than-clear solicitors.
Jimmy is very proactive and made sure we always had the best rate available, re-running quotes throughout the process. As our purchase took longer than expected, it was reassuring to know our rate was adjusted in line with base rate reductions.

Everybody Should Use This Service
My fiancé and myself just got our keys to our new flat yesterday, and I can confidently say that I will be using this service again if and when we move house. As first time buyers we were really nervous for the process. We went with mortgage focus and I have to say they have been the highlight of the whole buying process.
Joanne and Jimmy always answered our questions quickly and professionally. They got us the best deal we could get and every time new products came out that gave us a better deal reapplied for us. This ended up saving us over 0.5% on our whole mortgage payments!
If you can go with them do go with them!

Andrew, Joanne and the team were fantastic from start to finish. I came into my first property purchase expecting getting a mortgage to be the most difficult part, but they made it a complete breeze. Friendly and responsive
Joanne and Andrew have been responsive, friendly and informative throughout the process of buying my first home. I could count on them to reply to my questions quickly with detail. And they would do so with a lot of warmth! This mattered a lot for someone new :)
One point of improvement would be their recommendations. I was able to find a surveyor for about £200 cheaper, and there was an issue with the first conveyancer they recommended (though Andrew made a second recommendation to fix this himself!)
But if you're looking for mortgage brokers, I would recommend MF very highly! And Joanne and Andrew in particular. They have been lovely
