Dreadful service no communication
My sisters mortgage broker is Ben, at her first meeting he was great and after having a poor credit score was able to get a mortgage in Principal, excellent. With selling parents house she found an ex rental that was perfect, this was back in January. After that it all went downhill, she heard nothing for weeks and constantly chased getting nothing, then had to change solicitors, which went well, a bump but fine. it’s April and still very little communication from the broker. The seller has been threatening to put it back on the market several times. She’s been in trouble with work trying to get answers and sitting in a hotel now 1 month after the sale of our parents house, there are still 5 outstanding actions she’s been told today!!! Why has she been ignored, is there no one at the branch, she’s spending hundreds on hotel rooms, and now we have a deadline of Wednesday!! Then the property is gone and totally don’t blame them at all. This was meant to be pretty straightforward zero chain, If this falls through which is pretty likely now. She may be homeless and jobless too!! I just hope she gets some compensation, as extremely disappointing and if I could would score -5.

Five star service from a broker who care!
If you're looking for a mortgage broker who goes the extra mile, then look no further. I really can't rate Mortgage Matters highly enough. From start to finish Nathan has always provided me with amazing customer service and seamless transaction when finding the best deal on my mortgage renewals. Liam Trussler was extremely helpful with our first time purchase. Our experience with Mortgage Matters was both extremely efficient and easy from beginning to end. Their communication was second to none, ensuring that all of our questions as first time buyers were answered clearly and promptly. The team were genuine and had our best interests at heart, assisting us with the Solicitors wherever and whenever possible and going over and above in terms of flexibility and being available. We personally had an excellent advisor, Nathan Wadmore (HIGHLY recommend), who consistently checked in with us to monitor our progress and answer any queries we had at any given point. To say he and his colleagues Natalie and Rebecca were helpful is an understatement and we are greatly appreciative of the time and effort they put in to get our sale over the line. Great experience with Liam Lee
I worked with Liam Lee for my first-time mortgage. Really good experience, Liam explained things very clearly and took the time to run lots of different scenarios for me as I wasn't sure what kind of mortgage suited me best. I'm confident I ended up with the best rate available on the market at the time (confirmed by other brokers), and the service from Liam and team was really excellent. Highly recommend
