We had a great time. First time on a glacier. The guide was trustful and knowledgeable. I would recommend the 3h glacier tour with Icelandic Mountain Guides to everyone, specially if this will be your first time on a glacier.

We have not undertaken the services arranged for us by Icelandic Mountain Guides yet but if they are as excellent as the service and attention we received in putting our package together we will be extremely satisfied.

First time in Iceland and first time on a glacier! Had a wonderful time. The guide was great. Informative, humorous, and paced herself to the group we were in. Patient with some of the less cooperative members. I'm in my early 60's and pretty active, but this hike tired me out a bit. Wear good shoes or hiking boots, and dress in layers. You will need the supplied crampons. You're walking on a sheet of ice you know! Take water and some snacks, a hat and sunglasses. Some lightweight binoculars would be good. The glacier was nothing like what I expected. Complex and beautiful in its own way. I'd recommend this to anyone who does not have mobility problems. You'll never forget it!

Fantastic Glacier Walk~

Even only walk for 2~3 hours, we still enjoy the astonishing scenery, absolutely we will go back to Iceland in the future and we'll choose the Icelandic Mountain Guides again.

Experience was excellent. Best part was our guide who clearly loves his job and has a lot of info. Felt very safe when he was leading us through glacier and hiking. Extremely competent and well trained. Only point to share - website said boots were available to rent and I called to confirm this in advance. However upon arrival I was told boots weren't available in all sizes and that they only had a couple pairs. It just so happened that we could rustle up a pair that fit ok (though not perfect) but that was sheer luck and could have been a huge problem ruining my whole experience. Again it worked out and it was a great experience but a word to the wise is you should bring your own boots.

We were there on a typical Iceland day with showers and sunshine. But our guide Margaret kept us going. The weather absolutely didn't effect our experience on the glacier, even though it was raining for a while. Margert was always so energetic and kept us entertained, while making sure we are all safe and steady on the Blue Ice. Just loved the whole experience and if we ever come back to Ice, we will definitely do this again. Thank you guys for giving us an experience of a lifetime!

We spent a long time on the ice.Very fun! Downside: Not a fan of the guide's jokes teasing Chinese people .I am from Taiwan.

My fiancé and I were in Iceland to celebrate our engagement. This was by far our favorite part of the trip. We were led by "Stefan" and had an amazing time exploring the glacier, as well as the added detours he showed us during our trip to the glacial lagoon. An amazing experience, and well worth a trip to Iceland for. We are looking forward to going back soon.

I loved our day with our guide on the tastes of iceland tour. It was only 4 of us and the guide was just amazing. He was knowledgeable, kind and funny. One of the best days of my life!

Took the Blue Ice Experience glacier walk at Svinafell and had a great time. Definitely worth it.

This tour was well worth the money. They had boots to rent which came in handy. Our guide Hendrick was great. I would recommend this tour.

We had booked this tour well in advance. Due to bad weather, we had to cut the glacier hike a little short (for which we received a partial refund). Despite that fact, the guides took us out on a great tour and were very knowledgeable. They had a great sense of humor and were very passionate about the ecology of the glacier and the island.

This company is great and can be trusted to get you on and off the glacier safely!
