Absolute circus, about 10 staff walking around, queues at the till, 1 staff member trying to serve 10 customers and trying to contact other staff members to give a hand out
Shop is smelly when you walk in and disorganised.
Not a patch on the bunclody store which is top class

Poor Service and Lack of Basic Courtesy
I went to Mr. Price in Tralee today to collect some anniversary balloons that I had ordered yesterday. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing. It was extremely windy, and as soon as I stepped outside, one of the balloons burst. When I went back in, the staff were completely unhelpful—no apology, no effort to assist, and they barely even acknowledged me. I felt like a complete inconvenience. Sadly, I won’t be going back—there are plenty of other places in Tralee for balloons, and I’d strongly recommend you skip this one.

Gulivers Retail Park
Nice store at Gulliver’s, did work experience there for a week in December and the Manager Walter was amazing and really nice. He encouraged me a lot which was nice, and because of him this shop is the best spot I’ve done work experience!
The staff at that shop are great people to chat with and really friendly and everything in store goes great I loved my time there.

I had a great experience with a young man named David at Mr Price Arklow. I approached him while he was on the till looking for help, and he immediately stopped what he was doing to assist me. He was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure I found what I needed. As an older gentleman, I really appreciated that he took the time to make genuine conversation rather than rushing me along. Having worked in retail for over 40 years myself, I can honestly say it’s rare to come across someone so naturally great with people—Mr Price Arklow is lucky to have him.

Unhelpful member of staff
At around 6pm I went into Mr Price in Naas. After going up and down aisles to try find my products I decided to go upto a till to ask for assistance. The man at the till had an English accent and was in his mid twenties. The man was on a phone call on loud speaker whilst at the till, making it difficult to communicate my query. I eventually got his attention to ask for help and he gave me little to no reply about where the product was. Turns out the product was apparently "out of stock", even though it is a primary material in the school resources section. Not impressed by his service at all.

I was in the Waterford store on the cork road when I tripped and fell after trying to reach a 4 pack of lucozade. Paula helped me to my feet and made sure I was completely ok. She stayed with me for as long as I needed and really made me feel comfortable and cared for. Paula is an absolute angel and the world would be much better off if their was more people like Paula!!

Pricing never matches the till
Doesn't matter which Mr. Price you go to, Wexford, Waterford, there is always a problem at the till with incorrect prices, always being charged more than what it states on the shelves. At this stage it is definitely done deliberately. You need to watch everything like a hawk. I never have any shame in handing things back. You guys need to be more honest and transparent with your pricing as looking at other reviews it a well known fact that it happens too often.

Popped in here for some basic things…
Popped in here , the New store ithat used to be the cinema in Kilkenny for some basic things last Saturday eve.
The store was absolutely freezing. When I mentioned it to cashier they said theres been no heating for 2 months. Lots of shelves virtually empty and the music overhead was loud and annoying. Wont be back anytime soon.
I dont know how the staff stick it....
I dont feel the need to discuss it further but thanks for replying. Maybe contact the store for their opinion.....

Enniscorthy store the price on the shelf never complies with the price when the barcode is scanned at the till, pricing on the shelves is not good enough anymore and the pricing discrepancy is never at the customers favour you need to individually price every item with a sticker that accurately displays the correct price

Don't trust this Retailer.
For years I have shopped monthly at the shop in Bettystown for cleaning and bathroom products and stationery items for my home office, and spend about 60 Euros every time.
Recently I purchased two packs of Paper Mate pens, and returned them faulty to the sales counter today so they could review my complaint while I did my monthly shop. The young lad at the cash register said he'd "get somebody"
While shopping a scruffy looking foreign chap approached me to tell me that they were not prepared to give a refund as the pens were bought more than seven days before. It was not easy to tell this person was an employee, as generally they tend to be well presented, but he was anything but. The only clue was the scruffy fleece he wore with the Mr Price logo. His English was poor, however he clearly explained that they were not prepared to replace the items.
The issue was that not one of the 20 pens returned worked. This is a serious quality issue for any reputable brand, and would be taken seriously by any retailer who understands goodwill and consumer rights.
The manner in which I was treated at this shop was appalling. Clearly the staff were not properly trained in customer service, and obviously there was no manager around to supervise, so for now at least I'm the proud owner of a bundle of Paper Mate pens that don't work.
Thanks for nothing Mr Price.
***You've lost one good customer, and you deserve to lose more***
