MSI scammed me
MSI signed me up for credit monitoring services with a third party that has monthly fee for $29.99 during the consultation call without my consent or even disclosing what they were doing it. IdentityIQ is the third party and is familiar with how MSI uses them to get a cheap credit report through their $1 promotional deal because MSI does not have the credentials to pull credit reports on their own. I suspect they are affiliated and run the scam together, but I cannot prove it. Thankfully I saw the email confirmation and scrolled to the small print to see he had signed me up for a monthly service. When I asked him (Rick) about it, he told me I was rude for interrupting him because he was just about to tell me about it, AFTER he signed me up. I now have to use credit monitoring through another company because I stupidly gave MSI answers to security questions that would give them access to do anything with my credit, just like they did with IdenityIQ.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Read all of the reviews. They offer promotions if you agree to write a good review, that is why they have so many. Read the 1 and 2 stars with the folks who signed up and had really bad experiences. Jump to June 2021 one-star reviews and you will see how unprofessional they are. One lady left a bad review, and, in their response, they put her information on blast, publicly posting her credit scores and calling her insecure. I would not have believed a claim they did this, but look for yourself, MSI themselves posted that about her. Shameful.

MSI Credit Solutions does not enroll clients in third-party credit monitoring services without disclosure or consent. During consultations, clients are informed that credit monitoring is required to track progress, and IdentityIQ is presented as an optional third-party service commonly used in the industry. Enrollment requires client authorization, and clients may cancel directly with the monitoring provider at any time.
Any information shared during the onboarding process is used solely to review credit reports and explain the credit repair process. MSI cannot open accounts, change personal information, or take actions on behalf of clients without written authorization.
Regarding the interaction mentioned, we regret that the client felt uncomfortable or misunderstood during the consultation. This is not the experience we aim to provide, and professionalism is always expected from our team. We would welcome the opportunity to review this internally if the client contacts us directly.
Additionally, MSI Credit Solutions does not offer incentives in exchange for positive reviews, nor do we engage in posting sensitive personal or credit information in public responses. Client privacy is a priority, and we take data protection seriously.
