The tea is pretty good. I liked the rest tea (purple label) a lot. It was helpful to go to sleep and the normal mud water (black label) was pretty good but definitely did not wake me up and make me alert any way near to how coffee/caffeine does. not a true replacement at all. This review is less about the tea and more about the customer service. I had a subscription to the rest tea for a monthly delivery but after several months realized it was more tea than what my wife and I were drinking so I cancelled the subscription in May. I received an email from Mud water confirming my cancellation. June comes and I get charged and sent another rest tea and when I logged back on to my account see that the subscription was not cancelled. In trying to resolve the issue, their customer service requested I return the latest tea to them and pay myself for the return. This is such a terrible way to handle this error on their end. Why would I pay to return something I had not ordered/was sent by the company's mistake. I normally don't leave bad reviews as it takes up my time but the way this was handled irritated me a lot. Side note too, their ads are really, really obnoxious and annoying. mud water... as bad as it sounds

love the products took while but get used to it. however the website is a loop that goes to start over continuously. cannot navigate this website. nobody to talk to. emails ignored. products take 4 weeks to arive. amazon delivers in 123 days. terrible customer recognition total disrespect for ppl who cannot navigate the website is terrible

Ordered a starter kit and creamer. Creamer arrived. Two days later after no starter kit had been delivered I sent an email. Generic response, "it can take up to 72 hours". 3 days later, no response, second email. 2 days later, no response to EITHER message so I sent another one. No one will contact me, I have no package but $60 missing for buying something I NEVER GOT. Not only did they steal my money but they're also ignoring me. I was looking forward to try it but I just want my money back but I can't even get a response. Would give this 0 but it's not an option. Give me my money back, I'm not rich, I work hard for every dollar.

I guess most people come here to complain. I've been using the regular mud wtr for over A year. It's better than other mushroom coffees I've tried. I feel like people need to adjust their expectations of what it is. It's not going to dissolve by nature. And it's going to taste earthy. Tried the golden milk recipe and I like it a lot. Someone's review said it's too much turmeric... But that's what golden milk is made of lol. Anyway.. never had an issue delaying my orders or cancelling my subscription. I recently changed over to golden milk. Had an issue with it can lid getting stuck twice and the customer service was quick and efficient in addressing that.

This product has so much turmeric in it that it tastes awful. The worst part is that the turmeric doesn't dissolve, so the last 3rd of the drink is gritty and worse than the first part. It was truly a waste of my money.

I don't love this brand. I did some research on mushroom coffees as I am breastfeeding and trying to eliminate caffeine. I never drank more than about a cup a day of coffee anyways, but I thought I'd try out mushroom coffee anyways. This was the second brand I tried, I do like that it is not sweetened, and I can add my own sweetener (or not). However the essencial flavor itself is rather... watery. I even doubled and tripped the dose, but I still find the flavor there is, is very shallow. Lastly, I flavor that does peak through is mostly from the chia. Being the first ingredient in the blend, it is also my suspicion any energy boost in this drink is really from the chai (black tea), not the mushroom blend.
They seem like a great company and I had a really easy time canceling my subscription, and getting a return label for the second shipment so I appreciate all that hugely. But, sadly, honestly, not my favorit.

I saw the ads and eventually caved and started with the morning starter kit. I loved it. It wasn't love at first sip but once I found my recipe (just hot water + their creamer + oat milk + collagen), I was hooked. I was never a coffee drinker but am a huge matcha drinker and had a stint with energy drinks ... Anyhoo, after learning more about MUD\WTR and their articles, I started taking notes about how caffeine makes me feel and other routines and can confirm, it has changed my life. And for those reading about their subscription management, it's actually super easy to manage your account – you just login on their site!

Horrible taste. Made me sick. Because of all the positive reviews I wanted to give it several tries, but to no avail. I experienced no energy, and felt like I was literally drinking dirt. I Faithfully follow the instructions gave it some time about a week or two and I just kept feeling the opposite effect drained sick and tired.

Worse thing I have ever tasted and once you open the product they will not accept any returns. BE WARE, this is false advertising and does not taste anything like CHAI. It tastes like it sounds, like dirt in a cup. TERRIBLE. I tried it with milk, without milk, with sugar, without sugar. It never worked. Watered down mud. SO TERRIBLE and so DISAPPOINTING. Complete scam.

Bought over $100 off products that I can’t even use. It makes me sick every time I drink it. Full on rashes, sweats, stomach cramps and diarrhea. Emailed the company, crickets. Absolutely no response & it seems they’ve blocked reviews on every platform but this one! Hmmmm interesting.

Can't cancel my subscription. I tried to, and they kept giving me the same e-mail response which was just the steps to take to cancel/manage my subscription. I repeatedly told them that when I click the button on the site to manage the subscription, it takes me to a page where literally the only option is to subscribe to their newsletter. They have refused to be of any actual help, and I got charged again today and they shipped another overpriced garbage matcha to me.

prices are too high and they don't respond to your emails. My friends told me their support staff can't understand you and misinterpreted your email. very very poor service.

The taste of this was pretty bad imo. I tried a few recipes but the only one I could really tolerate was the following which does take a couple steps:
-Take all the powder out of the tin
-Rinse the tin and plan to use it in the future for something else
-Toss the powder in the trash

Really cool idea, I'm sure it works great for most people however I couldn't get past the taste. There's no returns or refunds but hey you get a cool frother in your order.. not terribly priced but definitely shady

It was easy to sign up and the MOST DIFFICULT thing to get out of!!! Beware, they are not what they claim to be. I had to pay $$ to get out of a subscription that I thought was a 1 TIME OFFER. SO SHADY! I would not recommend the product or company as good. 0 stars.

Not bad, taste isn't great but what can be expected... Cancelling your subscription is difficult and that is the reason for the 3 stars

I had a tin of it and was not impressed. I tried to add creamers and sweeteners to make it tolerable to drink but I couldn't. It really did taste like muddy water :/ I have not tried the creamer yet. Cool concept but didn't do it for me. I think they could probably work on the flavors or formula to make it taste better while still being healthy

Dirt literally dirt in a can and doesn’t mix in any water and if you think this will make you not want to drink coffee honestly the worst tasting stuff in the world

I've been using MUD every morning for 2 years now. I love not feeling the urge for coffee anymore. When I feel like I need some more caffeine, I add matcha powder. For taste, I use Chobani creamer. The only negative things I have they could improve on are the following:
1. Zipper breaks on bag often and has no way of sealing it
2. I always feel like I run out of MUD before 90 days (its a 90 day bag) and I use exact measurement. I understand the powder can be dense or loose though in the measurement. Anyway, I'd like a bit more in each bag or 30 day container.

I signed up for the mudwtr. When you sign up to pay for the product, you are automatically signed up for an auto-ship. They send emails that you can manage your subscription. I've spent hours trying to cancel my subscription. I even emailed them asking how to cancel my subscription. I was told I had an auto-ship set up and where to manage it. When you get to the website, it says to manage your subscription go to "manage." The word "manage" is not clickable nor is it anywhere else on the site. So for days I've tried to cancel a subscription that's not cancellable. I had planned to buy it again next month, but now I will not if there practices are to hide how to cancel subscriptions IF they are even there at all.
