Horrible company asked me for a down…
Horrible company asked me for a down payment for my policy and then in the same month ask for my 1st payment for said policy. And when I go to cancel my policy I am hung up on twice when I finally speak with someone instead of a verbal confirmation for cancellation they ask for a emailed cancellation.

The initial down payment and subsequent monthly payment schedule are disclosed at the time of enrollment and are part of the standard payment structure for the selected coverage plan which you were told about more than twice in your call and agreed to. We understand, however, that billing timing can sometimes cause confusion and we regret any frustration this may have caused.
Regarding your cancellation experience, written cancellation requests are required to ensure proper documentation and account accuracy for both the customer and the company. That said, we understand your concerns regarding the communication experience and take them seriously.

SCAM
Called claiming they were from a different company. Once I realized they were not the service they claimed, tried to cancel; got multiple call transfers/disconnects. Was told must notify in writing and would take more than 30 days to complete cancellation. Do not trust these scammers!

After reviewing the claim, the issue referenced was determined to be pre-existing prior to the policy becoming active. As outlined in the agreement, pre-existing conditions are not eligible for coverage under the terms of the contract. You filed a claim only 2 weeks after policy was active.

We respectfully disagree with this characterization and would like to provide clarification.
The benefits referenced were attempted to be used prior to the policy becoming active, within few days of starting. As clearly outlined during enrollment and within the agreement, coverage and member benefits do not go into effect until the required initial payment has been received and the policy is active.
These requirements are standard and applied consistently to all customers. We understand the frustration, but this was not a denial of valid active coverage.
