$1,000 for nothing

I took my 2010 Audi Q5 for a logbook service, and to be checked as it was overheating. Since the day I booked the service I called MyCar Braddon to explain the situation of my car and I was dismissed with no further questions.

I took my car for the service and I tried to explain the situation, then again I was dismissed. Later that day I was called to let me know that all was done, all the servicing was done and to fix the heating issues they needed to flush all the coolant for $180 dollars, I agreed and they did it.

When I picked up the car, I asked again about the engine overheating, they said it was all fixed, the coolant has some debris and this would fix it. It was not, sure enough it overheated.

I called MyCar to tell them that the issue was not fixed, they charged me extra and the issue continued, they assured me there was no leaks and no problem but they would take the car again to look at it.

I took the car back and for the THIRD TIME I WAS DISMISSED when I tried to show them the video of the temperature and the engine, “if it overheats, it overheats, just leave us the keys.

I left the keys and the next day I received a call from them quoting me 8 thousand dollars to replace the motor as it was damaged from the heat.

I told them that it was absolutely ridiculous as I tried to explain since the beginning the issues with pictures and videos and I was completely ignored.

They said, “that’s what it is and we need you to pick up your car today or we will charge you a fee for storage”

To this day I am yet to receive the diagnostics I paid for when I booked the car, I asked the question and was again dismissed “the diagnostics is your invoice mate” when you can clearly see on their web page the full diagnostics the are meant to give you when the $800 service is done, nothing was given to me, still haven’t received nothing.

I took my car to another mechanic and sure enough he found the leak within 5 minutes of actually looking at the car, not just taking my money as MyCar Braddon did, no more than thieves.

I will never use MyCar ever again and I have told all the people I know about it.

They haven’t even put my flybuys points into my card, and when I asked about it, you guessed it, dismissed, ignored. “They will come, they are just points.

Without a doubt the worst car service I have ever used, $1,000 for nothing.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour and the…

Absolutely disgusting behaviour and the worst customer service I've ever had,
Wayne did nothing but belittle my wife and make her feel stupid,
Not only did he make her feel stupid he was very creepy and sexual in words that he was saying towards my wife and to add the way that my wife witnessed Wayne treat his staff it's a wonder he still has a job in the first place.
Mycar has gone backwards in canberra of late.
I feel as they just don't care anymore

WILL NEVER RETURN

Quote for tyres and efficient replacement

The quote for tyres and booking for replacement was quick and easy. Done in-person at Mycar Braddon.
The tyre replacements was done on-time, and I was notified when the car was ready for pick-up.
Good fast and professional service.

Quick diagnostics and honest appraisal

Diagnosis revealed no issue with the car's windscreen washer reservoir. Professional approach and helpful information provided. Took the time to lift the bonnet to assist in explaining the situation.

An issue wasn’t fixed and I was told it didn’t need to be because was fine.

The customer interaction was fine and I forgot about my service and they were very happy to reschedule and fit me in which I very much appreciated. However I asked them to fix my headlights which weren’t working. They told me they were fine but the issue still persists which makes me question the integrity of the actual service and whether my car is okay.

Transparent work

The guys explain why they are doing the work they’re doing, before they do it.
They also retain the replaced parts, so I can see for myself what has been done.

Emergency repair 10/10

I took my car in for an emergency, it was fixed within 24 hours. Amazing service, have booked my car in for its annual service because of the good treatment.
