I was impressed with the prompt and friendly service I was provided on purchasing new tyres

Great service by the gentleman who attended to me.

Summary of my terrible experience at MyCar Brentwood.

First of all I paid $400 upfront for them to do all the work on my car as I requested, which was the folowing:

1) Fix and regas my air conditoning unit. Fix required replacemment of a high pressure hose.
2) Stop the current coolant leak (which was paid for prior so this should not have cost anything as MyCar has a lifetime guarantee on all repairs.

There was a discrepancy No 2, (and No 3 apparently) because the other shop (still MyCar) believes it was on the other side, regardless I had been to this shops location prior even that and got the same thing fixed on the opposite side of the discrepancy, so either way it has been paid prior more than once.
3) Fix the small oil leaks, again this is supposed to be covered under warranty for the exact same reasoning as No 2 as it was dropped off for both things to be fixed at that specific time.
4) Fix the coolant system issue that was induced by the previous MyCar place (that fixed the prior leak, that didn't fix it really at all) because now the car almost stalls as the tempature goes up and down (by up to 100 points sometimes more) instantly. Never had a problem prior..... they blame it on an airbubble (which they introduced and told me to fix it, previous shop not this one, but this one didn't fix it either)
5) Fix the power steering leak (which was again paid for previously as the same as No 2 and No 3)

So after 3 months of constantly calling and asking where my car is (as this was supposed to be done in a week when I was originally quoted it and this was my only car so cost me a fortune in Ubers) ONE part (the coolant leak) was fixed. He assures me everything is fixed, the problem is it isn't.

Firstly I go to the car and notice the car battery is dead flat, an obvious sign the car hasn't been worked on.

Secondly I check the power steering fluid (which apparently was fixed) , it was bone dry. He said "That's weird and embarassing as he fixed that himself"

Thirdly the car is buried under a huge thick blanet of dirt, tree sap and bird droppings I am beyond pissed off (this is a classic car worth a lof of money) and has obviously damaged the paint but just further proof it has been parked there with nothing done.

On top of this during all my phone calls with him he always has an excuse he has come across something else that needs fixing (not once did I approve this and say okay) and I thought this was weird as the works he was saying did not take that long at all.

As I'm driving the car home from this endeavour it starts making this loud whining sound, something I've never heard before during my 10+ years of owning the car. Followed by an extremely concerning banging and thudding with the car being throwing side to side. I quickly shut off the car and ring the "mechanic" and ask politely what the hell is going on, because at this stage not only has he wasted a huge amount of time, monney but also damaged my cars paintwork but also possibly my engine as well.

He said to have it towed back.

Fast forward another 3 months (which again was supposed to be a week as he will prioritise my car) he is unable to find the fault he has introduced, nor fix any of the other things I originally dropped the car off with, not to mention a "huge list" of other things he said he has done, which both mechanics mentioned to me before they left said he wasn't even working on my car.

This echos his lies straight up to me as he said he had been working on the car when the other guys said he was on holidays. The car is running exactly the same (like garbage) and extremely weirdly the car absolutely reeked of alcohol.

I reported all this to head office to which I never got a reply. They do not give our their email address, you can only use an online submission form. I tried calling as well and no one ever picks up. Apparently they get rated down in their reviews severely because of circumstances exactly like miine and they are of zero help.

So that is my whole experience with MyCar.

Friendly, honest and professional. Highly recommended.

Good perfect work and respect to client & reasonable price

I arrived at the shop at 4.40pm, as I realised I had a flat tyre when I was just down the street. The staff were really helpful and fitted my puncture repair in just before closing time. I was very grateful!

Big shout out to CJ who helped me with a breakdown (for free) late on a Friday arvo to get me up and running. Thanks very much!!

We had new tyres fitted today and must congratulate Columbus on a job well done. Under pressure with workload he was able to complete by the time requested. All done with a smile.

Columbus is very helpful. The problem that they can't fix, he booked the appointment for another shop, so i don't need to worry where i m going fix. Also ask do i have flybuys as i want to collect the flybuys points. Thanks a lot.

Yesterday I had a flat, badly damaged tyre and just turned up at the workshop. The tyre was replaced and the other tyres were checked. I was back on the road within the hour. Excellent, friendly service. Thank you!

Probably the worst car repair / service experience in around 20 years of driving. Had a normal logbook service which included the wheel / steering alignment. As soon as I left the garage and drove at close to 100kmh on the freeway the car shuddered unbearably and to the extent my girlfriend couldn't drive it. Had to take back and I also asked for an oil repair. This is where the nightmare begins properly. The oil 'repair' was done but actually made a minor oil leak into a tsunami. The oil ran out of the car and I had a red oil indicator within a matter of days. My garage floor is now ruined and it has taken 3 days to still not have the issue rectified. I rely on my car a lot, as do most people, but to cap it all, I was assured it would be ready today. It is not. And I have a birthday celebration in 30 mins which I now need to cancel as I'm literally unable to get there. Thanks MyCar. You have been utterly useless.

Columbus at MyCar Brentwood has helped me twice recently with flat tyres - once with a repair and now with new tyres. Both times he has been incredibly helpful, honest and speedy.

I'm very grateful to Columbus and his boss for being so helpful by fixing my car on the spot and getting me back on the road instead of waiting 3 hours for the RAC. Thank you very much.

Accepted my car instantly, fixed my car tire puncture quickly, called me when it was done, and only charged me about $40.
