Great service

Exceptional customer service and great communication!

Having put my car in yesterday morning for a $585 service to MyCar, Coburg, which is next to PENTRIDGE where I live, I received a phone call to say that my rear brakes needed replacing (another $800). They said they would need to order the parts, but they would be able to do that and have it done same day. As I need to travel interstate in a week, I agreed. At 1:43 I received a text to say that my car was ready. When I wandered over there at 3 o’clock there was nobody there and the place was all locked up until Monday morning with my car is inside it. With so much to do at Xmas but more importantly an overnight visit to my elderly father in Blairgowrie for Christmas planned for today I am now without a car and can not get there. The manager knew that I lived next door and didn’t bother to phone me to say that they close early. I had no idea and assumed they were open until 5.30. He knew I lived just next door and was okay to phone me for an extra $800 but could not show me the courtesy of ringing or telling me that they would be closing early and that my car would get locked in. If he had rung I would’ve been there straight away when I received the text. As a regular customer who has been coming there for over 14 years, I would have thought the least MyCar could do was ring to say ‘hey, are you coming? We close at 2.’ How do you do that to someone at Christmas. I am absolutely shattered!!! I will NEVER use MyCar again and neither will my friends and family who are absolutely gobsmacked that this could happen!!!

Took my car for check and fix Air con which was not cooling. I Was given car back with assurance that it was regassed and tested and no further problem. Called and Returned car as nothing had changed. Problem not resolved even after second attempt. Would like a refund.

An unexpected problem with my car was able to be resolved same day as my regular service. Great communication.
