I was looking for a new email hosting provider …
I was looking for a new email hosting provider as my current one only offered a small amount of storage for our email accounts. We were constantly deleting emails in order to keep receiving more emails. This was proving time-consuming. I was researching companies who offered email boxes but not many had umlimited storage. I came across My Host. I looked at the reviews and all seem to be quite positive. In particular the return time for support questions was quite reasonable. So I called the sales teams at My Host
They were very helpful in providing useful information.
I decided to go with My Host. I ended up going with the web hosting small plan . This provided the unlimited email accounts. And also provides two websites if I required this later on.
The initial setup was fairly straightforward. I realise there were some more issues going with com.au domain. But the support staff were great and we’re able to get the name set up with out any issues. They kept me up to date with progress Once I was up and going I was able to start using the email accounts. The setup was pretty straightforward through the cPanel. What I was impressed mostly was that I was able to send a link to an email address and the set up on the iPhone and iPad was extremely straightforward.
So far I’m very happy with the service.

I know it is difficult for most people to explain something they have grown up with namely the relative simplicity of programming etc. to many of us that have had to figure out problems ourselves, because of the deep-seated idea of if its easy it cant be right, if medicine tastes nice it cant be any good etc etc. I have never spoken or dealt with anyone at MY HOST that made me feel they thought they were dealing with a idiot.

Not use to this level of service
Uupgrade of servers for three websites
My needs were to upgrade three website servers. The myHost Support Team handled this efficiently and rapidly, over a weekend, with minimal downtime.
I am very pleased with the whole experience, and knowing I have a solid support team on call when needed.

Initial experience - Severen on Helpdesk amazing
This is my initial experience - so hopefully continues. I'm shifting from Freeparking. MyHost is cheaper and offers more. Also I got sick of the terrible service from Freeparking. My experience with MyHost in setting up and problem solving has been brilliant thus far. Setting up the account was easy - I was literally up and running within minutes. I had an initial FTP problem (probably due to the domain name transfer going slowly). But Severen on the Helpdesk answered my call within seconds (those of you who come from Freeparking will understand why I think that's amazing). Severen was professional and efficient. He worked through the issue with me step-by-step and had me up and running in no time. If MyHost keeps this level of service and value up then I will be absolutely blown away. MyHost, I will be switching all my sites over to you in the near future and commending you to others.

I was all at sea with the terminology and procedures but Jenny at MyHost explained everything clearly and, importantly, took the initiative in thew setting up process.

What a difference
What a difference, transferred from Freeparking due to their inability to address issues in their mail server introduced in Sep 2022, the transfer process was painless and completed within 2 hours (transfer of domain name, propagation of DNS & email plan active all within the 2 hour timeframe), have since had two occasions to ask questions (one technical, one billing related) and in both instances replies received within hours & sensible full replies in both cases. These guys are awesome & I'll be transferring all other Freeparking customers to MyHost in the coming months.
