Do not waste your money with these people. They will reject their claims over flimsy reasons and you will be left scratching your heads over it.

I had my HVAC replaced as recommended by my HVAC repair person. I provided them with the documentation and receipts but they refused the claim over a minor technicality.

They will go out of their way to deny your claims.

Save your money.

I’ve had such negative experiences working with other companies but Tend has made me realize that people in the home warranty space actually do care for their customers! The price is a great value and being able to call my own service provider saved me a huge headache! The claims team was friendly and I got paid much quicker than other companies I’ve dealt with. 5 stars!

There is no way to contact them. Email: support@mytend com. - doesn't work - info@mytend com - same. You call them and the voicemail says "you have to send an email to support@mytend com. Website "My Account" Section, doesnt work.

They deleted their entire customer website without notice.

Wow, the amount of time wasted with the other companies. Tend has better pricing but, even more important, the amount of time saved to get a repair made.

I have only signed up a couple of months ago hoping that if something goes wrong in the future all will be good. I signed up on line it was easy to do. Look forward to peace of mind in helping with repair costs that you never know may happen.

Tend Warranty is the most clear and upfront about their coverages, and what made them stand out from the other companies for me was that the let you select your own service handyman for the repairs, and will repay you the cost.

I have had home warranties with other Big name companies before, and I learned that the coverage is not really what they making it out to be, because they will require you to schedule their own, biased, repair company who will lie about the condition of your appliance, and furthermore will refuse to fix it, so that the Warranty company doesn't have to pay. With Tend, you wont have to fall into that trap, because you choose your qualified Handyman.

I recently switched to Tend. I have not submitted a claim yet, but I really like being able to select a good contractor myself -- the previous company I used always sent terrible contractors that were unable to fix any problems... And the premium is much less than with that other company.

I have not made a claim with Tend yet but so far so good! I will give them 5 stars for now!

At the moment I have not had a claim to see how smoothly the process goes. But the premiums seem to be in line with similar type plans. I just feel they should catch up on the technology side some. We need to be able to have premiums deducted from checking accounts instead of paying fees the credit card Company charges. I will give them 4 stars for now.

Getting a Tend home warranty was so easy. I feel good knowing if I need a repair I can call a provider I choose and the job will get done quickly.

The team asked for supporting documents that was very reasonable. They paid my claim timely and fairly. I have experience with three different home warranty companies, Tend has been the best so far!
