The way our food is currently being farmed and supplied is damaging to us and to our planet. Our mission is to replace a broken, opaque food system with a transparent and sustainable supply chain. We source radically seasonal produce that highlights the true cost of farming, protects the land from soil depletion and favours sustainable, nutritionally dense crops with revolutionary flavour. By working directly with small scale growers as well as developing our own farming projects, we are building a community which works together towards a common goal. Together we can revolutionise the food system.

My experience has been very poor. Initially they were good but very quickly the service dropped off and eventually any contact was like throwing a bottle in the sea and hoping it gets found!
Expensive and poor quality. Never fails to disappoint
Somewhat influenced by the Royal Warrant, I have bought a number of items via Ocado. Often these were vegetables which were difficult to find elsewhere, more recently clementines with leaf which mostly went rotten within 2 days of arrival.
I certainly won’t be buying from Natoora again
Scam
This must be the worst price to quality ratio ever! I don't mind paying extra for a good quality produce, but in this case you pay more and you get less. The onion squash was absolutely tasteless!

Overated, over priced, poor quality and bland.
Not really worth the money

Love Natoora from Waitrose, but not from their online delivery
I absolutely love Natoora fruit and veg, which I've been buying from Waitrose for quite some time.
This time I decided to order a one-off box of seasonal produce directly from Natoora website.
The website clearly stated which fruit and veg will be included in the delivery for that specific week.
I've just received the order, and unfortunately quite a few items were missing or replaced:
— Calcot onions were missing
— Instead of baby leeks, it was one giant leek
— Instead of Castelfranco Radicchio, it was Treviso one
— Instead of Mairac apples these were Royal Gala
Roscoff onions and kale was added, which wasn't in the list at all.
This was it's difficult to plan my menu and shopping for the week, as I already bought plenty of kale and onions elsewhere. And I was willing to pay extra for some special varieties, which I couldn't find in regular shops — but this wasn't the case with my order.
(I'd also prefer if each was packaged in a paper bag, as otherwise my fridge compartments get dirty of ground in potatoes and leek.)

Interview for warehouse role
Went for an interview for a warehouse role today. Staff were incredibly rude and not capable of speaking English properly even during interview. The senior staff interviewing were all Spanish speaking and using Spanish to talk privately among each other during the interview. I was so appalled by this that I left the site. What could be done better is to be more inclusive of those not able to speak Spanish, have good manners, simple please and thank you would be nice and not to use a different language to code what they are saying during interview.

Veggies & pesto taste like the Mediterranean
I always buy them on Ocado. Yes the food is a little more expensive but
a) it’s full of flavours
b) I can bring the Mediterranean to the U.K. and cook my favourite dishes.
We but a lot from them on Ocado and never ever had bad food. 5 stars plus

Avoid this company like the plague
Avoid this company like the plague. Order didn’t arrive, zero warning, zero communication, zero redelivery - just no food in my fridge and a refund in 3-5 working days.
Natoora should spend a little less time writing blog posts and a little more time delivering the service promised.
The app is truly dreadful. I placed my order over a week in advance, but it can be changed until the day before delivery. A few days later, while reviewing it, I noticed one item was now out of stock. Zero notification to warn me about this, but fine. I switched to an alternative. As this had happened, I checked back again right before the cut-off to see if anything else had gone out of stock. Everything was fine. However, upon dispatch, more items weren’t dispensed because they were out of stock.
Then, when my order was dispatched, I heard nothing about it all day. I had an 8am - 6pm delivery slot, and when I hadn’t received a specific time, I messaged the team only to be dismissively told that DPD handles their orders and that they can’t do anything about it once it leaves them. I waited all day, nothing arrived, no communication.
I had to get in touch again and chase Natoora the following day to ask where on earth my food was and only then did they tell me it had been damaged in transit and chucked in the bin. They didn’t offer to redeliver it, or replace anything, just blamed DPD.
A truly awful service from beginning to end. Avoid avoid avoid.
Used Natoora from the beginning and now it's simply bad quality
I used Natoora for almost two years and I've paid for their "Radicals Membership" for free delivery and also a free gift in my order every month. I rarely receive the extra item and now I'm just viewing the membership as a wash. My main issue is just the complete degradation in quality. When I first started using Natoora (when it became available to everyday consumers), I couldn't believe how amazing the produce was. Now, it's just plain bad and the offerings are far less in quantity. Honestly, my veggies and fruit from Whole Foods look a lot better and it's much easier on the wallet.

This places management is so bad and picking lines manager is a creep who stalks the younger girls social media and is a control freak who sits and does no work
Overpriced. Quality?
Expensive to the point of being ridiculous - although they do have some unusual products and some - not all - are of very good quality. I do like their approach but am not sure that the offering is up to scratch.
Greenwashing alert!
Natoora blatantly lies about the origin and sustainability of their produce!
Stopped ordering when I realised the bananas had a Chiquita sticker on them, which doesn't come from regenerative sources and the origin indicated Costa Rica and not Columbia as stated on the app. I contacted Customer Support and they told me the bananas may come from different sources and the app doesn't allow for multi origins, which is a joke.
Natoora claims to source their produce from regenerative farmers even though a lot of produce comes from non regenerative sources. This is labelled as 'INT' on the app, which is not explained anywhere. After asking about it, Customer Support explained that INT stands for intervention, which is non regenerative farming.
So you end up paying a lot of money for non sustainable produce which is a huge rip off and shocking for people wanting to reduce their carbon footprint.
Besides this, a lot of the food delivered is mouldy, deliveries are late, there are a lot of missing items in deliveries and customer service is not very friendly. Depending on where you live, don't be shocked to have a Natoora driver knocking at your door at 6am.
To make matters worse, a lot of former Natoora employees mention inhumane working conditions on Glassdoor.
For UK residents, I recommend switching to Riverford. They are absolutely lovely to deal with, very transparent about the origin of the produce, deliveries are always on time and produce is fresh.
A visit to this place felt like an episode of Portlandia, so terrible it was funny.
I came to Natoora in Brooklyn to buy some cakes for a pop up. We bought two cakes, and several drinks as we decided to stay and eat outside, where they said they had seating. After checking out I asked if I could wash my hands somewhere, as I’d just arrived via the subway from the city. They all looked at each other and just started shaking their heads no and avoided eye contact. It was very odd… I asked if they had any hand sanitizer, they apparently did not, which is concerning for a restaurant during a pandemic. Right after they all told me I couldn’t wash my hands, one of the employees starts washing her hands right in front of us in the kitchen that’s visible from the counter. We then went outside to eat the cakes and saw there was no seating save for a small bench next to garbage cans that two people were already sitting on. We went back inside, wondering if we went to the wrong place, and asked where the seating was, they said there is a bench, I told them two people were already sitting there (it seemed they were also people that worked there or were providing the cakes), and they directed us to a rock in front of their store and another small bench on the sidewalk. We opted for the rock and had to find a crate ourselves to use as a table. When it came time to throw away our trash we couldn’t find a proper trash can and had to go to the outside area and lift up the lid of a full size trash ben and toss it in. When we came back to throw the rest away it had been locked so we had to leave the trash on a shelf. A visit to this place felt like an episode of Portlandia where the people working at a store seem actually mad that you are supporting their business and try to make things as complex and difficult as possible.
Dreadful
Dreadful. My first order - and my last . Fruit was several hours late and when it did appear is all gone off . Melon so soft I could put my fingers through the skin . Mango brown in places and the tomatoes are a sad sorry affair . Never again
NOT AS STATED IN DESCRIPTION
Described as small sweet peas, were normal size and in no way could be called small, tast was not bad but again not over sweet.
AVOID
I went to the lovely market that Natoora have set up in Bermondsey, London last Saturday. My partner and I bought something and immediately changed our minds. Both the team members behind the till were unable to process refunds (very odd as it should be company policy for at least person on shift to have the ability to to do...). We were advised to contact the head offices on Monday.
We have been trying to make contact with the head office since Monday and have sent emails. 4 days later and still no response...Now when we try to call, we can't even get through to anybody and are advised to try again later. WE HAVE BEEN TRYIHNG AGAIN FOR 8 HOURS!
It usually takes 3-5 business days to issue refunds. It has now been 4 business days and Natoora so far have not even been able to confirm this refund.
The word shambolic springs to mind here..
I would genuinely avoid this place at all costs. Whilst there is no denying that the produce they sell is good quality, the service they provide is far from...

I got so-called New York Rainbow chard that had a twist-tie from a California company, “New York” kale from South Carolina, and “Pennsylvania” spigarello from California all in one order. These are obviously not one-offs. Reviews on facebook report similar things.
I will never order from them again, and encourage you don’t either.

Ruined Christmas
Ruined Christmas. Booked a delivery slot for the 24th which they accepted, confirmed and emailed me at noon on the 23rd to reconfirm. Emailed to cancel at 15:00 because they suddenly realised they hadn’t checked their courier was actually delivering. Left me in the lurch and still took my money for the goods they cancelled! A disgrace.

I have used Natoora though most of the pandemic. They are not cheap (quite expensive in fact) but the quality has been very good on the whole.
But my rating is down to their erratic and recently deteriorating delivery service. They give a very broad 4 hour window and rarely deliver within that. Most recently I received an email confirming delivery 2 hrs before, which I had never received! When I called I was promised a replacement delivery the next day...that never arrived either. I've stopped using them.

Woken up by a driver when delivery was several doors down!
I was woken early this morning by a Natoora delivery driver who banged and banged and banged on my door while I was asleep because I had not gone to bed until 4am. Eventually he woke me, up, and I went down to see what on earth was going on. He said 'Paul, number 25?' and I said NO. I pointed to the number on my door which he had obviously not read. No apology, he just went away, leaving me with just 4.5 hours sleep, and it messed up my whole day. Don't know about the fruit, but the drivers are not very bright nor very considerate!
