It's all about the people

It's all about the people. Liza C. from the Neat support team is a rock star. She is professional & relentless. She patiently followed my support case for data migration and setting up on a new computer through a painstaking multi-day process, with consistent follow up and detail.
I had to be convinced to pay the small additional fee for the higher level of support after I had just paid for my initial Neat Desk subscription, but I will say it was well worth it. It is great to now have all my accurate data and history on my office pc, and on the go on their excellent mobile app. I was skeptical at first about having to move from the legacy software to the new cloud-based service, but the features and capability are well worth it, and I highly recommend paying the small fee for the extra support for a year. Liza C. and her team are top notch!

Neat Employee Saved the Day!

I was having trouble remembering how to do a specific report. I reached out on CHAT and Liza came on to help! After trying, unsuccessfully, to generate a duplicate report from last year, She finally asked to access my computer. That was done through Zoho and after much trial and error, she was able to get my problem solved! She was very patient with me and very persistent in resolving my problem. Liza was top notch in my opinion! Thank you Neat, for hiring good employees!

Dolly helped me

Dolly helped me, she was courteous and extremely helpful. Basically took my hand and walked me through process. I think that if all your tech are like her then you have a perfect customer service department.

Hi my name is Dr. Rod Pryor and Liza helped me today. She resolved my login issue and I had some more questions. I found out I did not have QuickBooks and that I had only paid for the Neat service. I was ready before talking to Liza to get my money back and give up. She was able to point me in the right direction. Send me valuable links on using the service and what exactly I had paid $250.00 for. Please tell Liza that she is a hero today and saved the day. I would give Hi my name is Dr. Rod Pryor and Liza helped me today. She resolved my login issue and I had some more questions. Is the scansnap iX6000 fully compatible with Neat?

I had a question, the question was answered. Hopefully accurately.
This was my question: I am considering purhasing a Fujitsu (Ricoh) ScanSnap iX1600 Wireless / USB scanner. If I use the ScanSnap iX1600 with Wi-Fi are there any Neat functions or features that I won't be able to use?
The answer I was given was a little further along ...

Thanks for reaching out for additional detail on Neat compatibility with the iX1600! We appreciate your patience as we researched this further for you.

The Short answer:
We don't support Neat Scan utility with a Wi-Fi scanner but since the model in question has scan to email, it should still work well.

The Long Answer:
Even though some Scan Snap scanners are certified, this model is not one of the officially tested and certified 3rd party scanners, but it does use Scan Snap software which should connect with Neat Scan Utility (NSU).
Since it is not certified, you can't control black/white vs color or single/2-sided scans directly from NSU but you should be able to control all the scan settings in the Scan Snap software prior to sending to Neat.
Because Scan Snap scanners MUST use the Scan Snap software, everything has to be managed through that software first and then be sent to NSU.
If there happens to be an issue where they are not working together, we often recommend scanning to the computer and importing it into the web app.
We checked the Ricoh website, and the image of the Scan Snap software shows they also have a Scan to Email feature. That may work out better for you to send items directly into Neat without needing to use NSU as an additional step.
Since you haven't purchased yet, we would also mention that Raven scanners are fully compatible with Neat and also have the scan-to-email feature which is a lot easier and faster than NSU. We have tested Raven and know it works well with sending to your @neatcloud.com email.

Hope that gives you the information you need in order to make the best decision.

Liza ultimately fixed my main problem…

Liza ultimately fixed my main problem of getting Neat to work with my ScanSnap, and I am grateful. However I spent at least two hours not counting the time I tried the Chat and there would be 5 minutes between replies. It was disjointed and stressful. I want a person who can give and take not the process of a Chat communication. It was frustrating.

Your tech support representative, Liza T., called back to me to be certain that the previous day's support session had done what I needed. It had NOT, because Liza's efforts and the support from my new scanner vendor (Fujitsa ScanSnap) were not really working. Liza was concerned enough to follow up today. She knew your system well, so she was able to direct me to log on to NEAT through Google instead of through Safari. I'm somewhat disappointed that you no longer support your old Desktop version. It was faster. But your tech support was excellent.
