We would like to clarify a few important points regarding our business model. We have never represented ourselves as an authorised Swarovski Optik dealer. All products sold through our store are 100% genuine and sourced through parallel import channels from other countries.

As parallel import products are outside the scope of the manufacturer's regional warranty network, we provide our own warranty covering the full duration equivalent to the manufacturer's warranty period. All warranty claims are handled directly by us, ensuring our customers receive full coverage and support.

We'd like to set the record straight on a few points.

On the price: Our prices are lower because we operate as a parallel importer — sourcing genuine Minelab products through legitimate international channels. A lower price is not a red flag, it's the advantage of shopping outside the authorised dealer network.

On authorised seller status: We have never claimed to be an authorised Minelab dealer. Parallel importing of genuine goods is entirely lawful in Australia under the Trade Marks Act 1995. Minelab saying we're "not authorised" is simply confirming our business model — nothing more.

On our website copy: Fair point on the training wording — we've updated it to better reflect how our team builds product knowledge.

On warranty: Every product we sell carries a full Netstra warranty, backed by Australian Consumer Law statutory guarantees. These apply regardless of where you purchase.

On our ABN: A sole trader structure under an active ABN is a completely standard and legal way to operate in Australia. There is nothing unusual here.

On "authorised dealer" status: Netstra has never claimed to be an authorised Minelab dealer, and we don't need to be. Parallel importing of genuine branded goods is perfectly legal in Australia under the Trade Marks Act 1995 and has been confirmed as such by Australian courts. We sell 100% genuine Minelab products — not counterfeits, not replicas.

On "intellectual property infringement": Reselling genuine goods does not constitute IP infringement. The exhaustion of rights doctrine applies here. If actual legal proceedings existed, they would not be announced via a Trustpilot review.

On GST: Netstra holds an active Australian Business Number (ABN). Anyone is welcome to verify this independently at abr.business.gov.au. This claim is simply incorrect.

On warranty: Every Minelab product we sell comes with a Netstra warranty. Under Australian Consumer Law, customers retain full statutory guarantees regardless of whether they purchase through an "authorised" channel or not.

Netstra is registered as an Australian business (Business Name / Sole Trader), not as a proprietary limited company (Pty Ltd). ASIC regulates corporations and financial markets. Business name registration is managed through separate Australian government channels. We are fully compliant with all applicable regulations for our business structure.

3. Minelab Equipment:
We source all our Minelab products exclusively through authorised distribution partners, ensuring every item we sell is 100% genuine and covered under Australian Consumer Law.
