I’ve taken three courses with Nexa-Land (Forecasting, Intro to ML, and Advanced ML 1). The instructors are highly knowledgeable, which is the only reason I’ve stayed. However, the management of class time is quite poor. Sessions are constantly interrupted by basic queries, and presentation schedules are rarely followed, sometimes running four times longer than planned. As an experienced Data Analyst with an MS in CS, I believe the company needs to implement stricter time protocols to maintain a professional standard.

My card company are taking steps to recover these charges.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like I need to speak up about Nexa Land because I really wish someone had warned me before I joined. The whole thing is built on slick marketing and influencer content, but once you're in, the reality is completely different—and honestly, kind of shocking.

They make it seem like people are getting jobs left and right after the program, but that’s just not true. Out of a class of over 70 students, maybe one person ends up getting a job in UX. They never show actual data, only cherry-pick a few success stories to make it look like everyone is thriving. It feels incredibly misleading.

What made it worse is the way the classes are run. There’s no real support or guidance. It’s a massive group with no room for real feedback or connection. And Golshid, the founder, teaches most of the classes herself—even though she has no formal training in education. She may be good at branding herself online, but that doesn’t translate to being a good teacher. In fact, she was often rude, dismissive, and even mean when giving feedback. It didn’t feel like tough love—it felt like power-tripping.

I’ve been a student in Iran, the US, and Canada. I have a PhD. I’ve had professors from all over the world. I’ve never experienced a teacher who acted this unprofessionally or made students feel this small. Her style of “bluntness” is just an excuse to be unkind. It’s not constructive, it’s humiliating.

I honestly feel taken advantage of. This program is built on a shiny, influencer image—but behind the scenes, it’s all smoke and mirrors. If you’re thinking of joining, please look deeper. Don’t fall for the social media polish. I wish I hadn’t.
