The camera was originally supplied with two adhesive plates. First lasted 1-year, garage supplied substitute lasted 4-years, I used second myself recently - good adhesion so far. Centre of camera foot slightly recessed so plate mainly sticks peripherally. Replacement 3M plates are for the future.

These are the first adhesive pads that I've bought that firmly hold the camera on the windscreen.

I received a packet of vitamin pills rather than the adhesive pads I had ordered - obviously some dodgy goings on in the fulfilment facility! Luckily Nextbase sent a replacement order without fuss when I contacted them, but no explanation.
