Extra paid tax fee

Because of their billing fault, I had to pay tax fee twice. First , they accepted their fault and said they would refund. Although I sent all necessary documents and proofs of this event several times, they did not deal, and finally they said it was not their fault and they could not refund . It is a contradiction. I think it is not a confidential firm. I will never buy something from there.

Useless

I had favourited an coat on next.co.uk over a year ago but it was expensive and after having waited to see if it would be in the sale I saved to get it. Over Christmas 2022 the favourited items disappeared (this had happened on many other websites too, I suspect it’s a ploy so you can’t just buy quickly in the sale and forces you to search). By the time I saw it again it HAD been on sale and sold out. I found it for sale still on this site, nextdirect.com and ordered it, payment and address easily accepted and item sent to DPD. I saw today it was out for delivery but in the wrong country! How on earth did that happen, how did no one at next or DPD realise the address did not exist in that country? How is it now showing as delivered in that other country? I spoke to next on the chat feature and after being passed back and forth to different countries I was told I had refuse the delivery for a refund, how on earth am I going to refuse the delivery when I’m not going to be at the address you’re trying to deliver it to? Having pointed this out and a bit more disagreement the agent said he had refunded me but I haven’t got any confirmation of that in my email and it says nothing on their site. I’m sick and unable to leave the house as most people do so all my shopping is done online, I don’t get to wander around shops and see the items I want selling out, I’m so disappointed about this coat after having wanted it for so long and saving for during a cost of living crisis and nextdirect saying they can’t send it to the uk (you’re using DPD, they deliver here too, what’s the issue?). And yes, I know, why am I so bothered about a coat when I don’t leave the house much, well, I’m sick of the most of my clothes being PJs or loungewear and when I am able to go out I like to look nice, sometimes even just going to hospital is a nice treat as I’m getting out of the house, even though I hate going to appointments there.

You’re shipping and delivery teams seem to need to learn geography and your customer service people shouldn’t make such ridiculous and clearly wrong statements.

I’ve also now received an email charger me €6 for their mistake, I may never use any of your sites again, the online experience with so many companies is becoming unbearable, you need to treat customers better, especially in hard times, these things become more of a treat than a necessity when the cost of everything is so ridiculous

A fuir absolument

Première commande annulée sans me prévenir, remboursement 3 semaines après. Je refais cette même commande le 14/12, en m'assurant auprès d'un collaborateur que les articles seront livrés avant Noël, ce qu'ils me confirment à 2 reprises. Nous sommes le 3 janvier et je n'ai toujours rien reçu. Vraiment pas sérieux !!

Next c'est Du grand n'importe quoi...3 fois j'ai passé des commandes une semaine après ça été annulé...tantôt problème de livraison...tantôt rupture de stock. Ça sert à rien d'afficher les beaux vêtements ,faire la publicité sur réseaux et Google alors qu'en vrai vous ne les avez pas.

Sendungen kommen nicht an

Bisher war ich immer absolut zufrieden, doch meine letzten 4 Bestellungen wurden retourniert, BEVOR sie je bei mir angekommen sind. Das Geld wurde mir direkt zurückerstattet, aber ich wollte eigentlich die Ware haben. Gemäss dpd kam die Ware nie in der CH an, sehr eigenartig. Und der Kontakt mit dem Kundenservice ist eher anstregend und wenig zielführend. Am Ende bekommt man gesagt, man solle doch nochmals bestellen mit einem Rabatt von 10 od 20%, der nie irgendwo erscheint und am Ende passiert das Gleiche wieder. Woran es liegt? Keine Ahnung, aber ich bestelle nun erst mal nicht mehr bei Next. Sehr schade, dass sie das Problem nicht erklären und beheben können.

1ère commande chez NEXT et ravie des achats reçus !
Pyjama épais, chaud, joli, de bonne qualité, taille correcte (10).
Chemise en jersey blanche, haut fleuri, pas déçue.
Colis déposé dans ma boîte à lettres, dans les temps.
Rien à dire.
J'appréhendais un peu car 1ère commande et j'avais lu de mauvaises appréciations.
Mais je recommande vivement ce site.

Communication inefficace, retour impossible

J'ai acheté des articles pour bébé, bien reçus en temps et en heure. J'ai renvoyé une première partie des articles qui n'allaient pas et ai décidé le lendemain de renvoyer le dernier article car mon besoin avait évolué.
Et c'est là que plus rien ne va. Impossible via leur site de gestion des retours de faire une nouvelle demande de retour après une première demande (pour la même commande).
Il est tout à fait possible de joindre le service client qui répond aimablement, via chat ou par téléphone si vous parlez anglais.
Mais répondre n'est pas synonyme de solution pour Next lorsqu'il s'agit de faire valoir son droit de rétractation.
Les conversations avec le service client sont toujours pleines d'excuses mais ils demandent sans cesse les mêmes informations sur la commande alors que vous avez déjà communiqué les mêmes informations à une personne précédente qui n'a finalement été d'aucune aide.
En l'occurrence Next m'a proposé de retourner l'article à mes frais en joignant mon RIB pour remboursement des frais mais sans me communiquer l'adresse de retour. Et nous en sommes maintenant à 3 emails envoyés depuis sans avoir cette fameuse adresse.
Je n'ose imaginer l'exécution du remboursement promis de l'avance des frais de retours.
Voilà un site qui fonctionne bien tant que l'on a pas de problème ou plus précisément que l'on accepte les articles sans les retourner. Pas évident lorsque l'on achète en e-commerce !
Ma courte relation avec Next s'arrêtera donc à cette première expérience d'achat désastreuse.

Have to pay for the returns! Super bad customer service!

I WAS a really happy customer and bought a lot here.
Couple of weeks ago I ordered many dresses for a wedding.
Kept 1, returned the others....
And what happens then? I get from Klarna the whole bill for ALL the items!
Called en e-mailed a lot with the customer service from Next, but they say they don't have it and don't understand it.
I have to wait for days when I get an answer to my complaints, en when I get an answer back, they don't come with a solution. No, they say that the package is still at a parcel point....

Looks like a joke but I don't think this is funny. I have to pay €244,- for only 1 dress (88,-) I kept!

When you call the customer service, they say you have to e-mail.
When you e-mail, they don't understand you and you get robot-answers back.

Really sad because I used to loved this webshop but how the fix this problem, or what do I say; they don't fix It! It's terrible!

No customizing after placing an order, no customer service

I placed an order online from abroad. The day after, while my order was still not dispatched I realized that one of my orders was wrong and it was because of them -they did not mention the gender in the explanation. I contacted immediately to change or cancel the wrong one, but as I informed it is not possible to make any changes after placing an order. It will come to another country and they do not make any changes before dispatching the order, this is not acceptable. It will takes 3 weeks to arrive my country then I do not know how long will it take to return and replace a new order. most probably in 2 months, it will be done. What a time lost! I am not contacting them while my order was on its way, I contact them while my orders getting prepared.

Ik heb 2 bestellingen gedaan. De 2e bestelling met exact hetzelfde maar een maatje groter (om te kijken wat past) had ik na 3 dagen binnen. Helaas valt maatje 122 veel te groot voor mijn zoon van 121 cm. Op mijn 2e bestelling wacht ik al weken en je word echt van kastje naar de muur gestuurd bij de klantenservice!

Ik hoop dat mijn retour wel goed gaat. Wel bijzonder dat je het bij dpd ophaalt en bij PostNL retour moet doen.

Absolutely awful this past year

Absolutely awful this past year. I live in Portugal and always had great service, with parcels sent fast and correct items inside. This year I was sent the wrong dress. Was told oh well, send it back if you don't like it. Or have a discount off the next order. So I accepted the discount and ordered again. No discount appeared. Waited 10 days for my new order. No updated online of where my items are. So contacted Next and was told oh sorry warehouse error. The order isn't coming. Again I was offered a phony discount. I will NEVER be shopping here again which is a shame as I bought items every month.

Might be a scam

Honestly, i think this while company is a scam. No evidence, it's only my perseption. The shoes came without the box, just wrapped in paper. And the customer service agent "Kunal", didnt understand english and just closed the chat down. When I tried to ask for the original box, and how to return them, because the shoes were not real leather either, like the article said. I think, this is just cheap copies made in India and when you mention your concerns, they just shuts down the chat. Never shopping from this place again.

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service, I'm a new customer and I ordered above 50EUR to get my 20% discount however forgot to apply the promo code. When contacted customer service, Victor replied that it is too late and did not answer my follow-up questions, completely ignoring me.

Very poor quality!

I recently bought some sandals from next direct on the second time off wearing them they split at the back! Tried to contact next direct no help whatsoever! They where almost 40£ ! So not cheap ! I've had cheaper ones that lasted years !
