These people don’t even deserve one…
These people don’t even deserve one star. This is the worst moving company ever. Their version of creating my $36,000 motorcycle was to wrap a piece of cardboard around it. The idiot had the audacity to get on the bike started, ride it into the other truck, and then they left the key in the on position which destroyed the brand new battery that I just put in it before they loaded it. I did find some additional scratches on the bike that were not there before they got it. I asked them to reimburse me for some items that they damaged and they won’t. I logged 47 phone calls with these people with promises of getting calls back and no one would call me back about anything. They lied to me about the delivery date. They’re treating like this is just a joke to them. They put me through pure hell with all of the stress.

Dimitry/Dima and his team in Austin did an awesome job wrapping and packing and loading. I honestly think he should be running the company, or at least deserves a huge bonus. He was patient, prompt, and explained everything clearly. Him and his team made me feel way better about the move at an extremely stressful time.

I've contacted your Claims Department and got excuses. This company does not respond to complaints and has no interest in resolving the dispute. Charging me for items I didn't even own doesn't seem to matter to them.
Deceptive and Damaging Movers
Next Stop recently completed a move for me, and it was perhaps one of the most unpleasant moving experiences I have encountered. Not only were they misleading with expectations, uncommunicative of delays, and unresponsive to multiple attempts of contact, but also damaged some of my items.
I was told twice that my delivery would be expected at a certain time and both times that didn’t occur. The first instance was on 9/11/23 when I was told my delivery would be by the end of the week or early next week. Not only did the delivery not occur, but I needed to email/call the company multiple times to get an update.
On 9/21/23, after multiple attempts to get in contact, I was able to speak to someone on the phone. This is when I was told that the truck had broken down in Texas and needed repairs. They informed me my delivery should be early the following week. Again, this window was missed and I was not contacted to be told why there was another delay.
Not only should I have been informed about the truck being broken down, but also informed when my delivery window was missed. I shouldn’t need to call/leave voicemails/email multiple times to get a vague answer.
I was also charged an additional fee for my Peloton bike, for it to arrive damaged. If I’m paying an extra fee to have an item moved I would expect that it arrives in the same condition it came in.
Finally, I was told I’d get a call at least 24 hours in advance on my delivery. I got called the morning of from the driver saying they might be at my destination later that same day and that they would let me know by 2:00 pm. I canceled plans that day to plan for the potential delivery. At 2:30 pm I had still not heard back from the driver, so I needed to call for an update. He told me that they would not be arriving that day, but instead tomorrow morning between 8:00 - 9:00 am. The movers did not come at the indicated time, and I needed to call them hourly for an update until they finally came at 2:00 pm.
This type of service is completely unacceptable and could have easily been avoided with minimal communication. Next Stop moving purposely avoided contact with me and made up excuses for continued delays. When I reached out after the experience to speak to someone at the company, I never got an answer or a callback. I understand that these are “budget” movers, but I would strongly recommend paying any higher price to avoid using this company.

Awful
Awful, unprofessional, and inexperienced movers. They were a day late, which is very nerve-wracking when you have a set date that you need to turn the keys back to a landlord. I paid for the full white glove service. The movers did the absolute bare minimum. Dressers and drawers were haphazardly wrapped up WITHOUT first being emptied. Furniture that NEEDED to be disassembled in order to ship safely were NOT disassembled - for example, the detachable pegs on the bottom of the sofa, which were thus damaged during the move, and my desk and shelving units, which were again damaged and warped from the move. This company was absolute garbage. Not to mention the "surprise" additional $1300 they scribbled up once arriving.

Alex and Vito are excellent! They are so professional and respectful. They took good care of our belongings. They covered all the delicate pieces with cardboard. They are really kind, patient and gentle. We had a wonderful moving experience!!!!

Can not recommend Next Stop Moving and Storage enough! I needed a move last minute, Michelle made me feel at ease, answered all my questions and kept me updated throughout this process. The team arrived and packed up all of my garage and electronics for me. Everything was handled with exceptional care! I received my belongings as promised and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The team was very thorough and had an incredible attention to detail! I am fully satisfied with my service and will be using Next Stop Moving and Storage for all of my future moves

This company has terrible customer service. Calling them is a nightmare, emailing them is a nightmare, all of it is just a nightmare.
I’ve asked for a final invoice of everything I’ve paid so I can get reimbursement from my job, I’ve done this multiple times by phone and email with still no paperwork being sent to me.
The sales person I talked to originally didn’t inform me correctly or maybe just lied to get me to use them as a Moving service. I was told that they would wrap my furniture in moving blankets but when the moving guys arrived they said that they would charge extra for every mirror and lamp. So I had to get rid of a bunch of my belongings with no notice… I would’ve wrapped them if I had been told that but I wasn’t. I also was told that they would move things in one flight of stairs for free but when they delivered my items they charged me an extra $100+ for the flight of stairs…. Completely unfair to the customer to not inform you of all the charges, I was blatantly lied to about the stairs when I specifically asked about them before paying my deposit and again before they even picked up my items.
I called every other day for almost 2 weeks asking where my items were. I was always told that nothing has ever started moving and it would be weeks. I get a random call from a New York number and someone tells me my stuff will be here at 5pm… when I called the day before and it was somehow across the country still in a warehouse??? They gave me very little notice and customer service puts you on hold for 10 minutes to not even check on where your items actually are!
At my actual delivery, I have a table that’s just completely missing and they broke a piece of furniture… according to them that’s worth all of $50 which doesn’t remotely replace either item. I spent thousands of dollars moving across the country with them, they lose something and break something else and that’s worth $50?? What a joke

Horrible company. Our stuff sat in Sacramento for days. Then was transferred to another company who delivered and we have so much missing stuff. I wouldn’t recommend them at all

PLEASE I WARN YOU. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.
Where to start. When I booked the move I thought thing would be in good hands do to the decent reviews they have I was definitely wrong.
The packers did a decent job wrapping so at this point I was somewhat confident that my items would be in good hands. Wow that was misleading.
I have moved about 13 times in my military career and some being international. This move 3 states over was the absolute worst.
From the beginning I get an email stating goods are on the way in an 18 wheeler semi truck. That since they will have to move to a smaller truck to make it in my apartment I would now have to pay an extra 431 $. This is very finely written in the contract yes but not mentions up front or even told how much it could be. With that said I asked ti talk to a supervisor to resolve this. The supervisor that called me called from a cell phone 1. But also while driving. Phone dies. She calls me back at a birthday party. Phone dies. Calls me back as she’s leaving with people in the back ground cursing. Phone dies. She tried to Call me back. I did not answer expecting she would call me back the next day on a business phone. Never got a call back.
During this call she said she would have someone contact the driver and tell them to attempt to pull into my apartment as my patching lots are big.
Well another issue. A day before my delivery I get a call from the driver. I ask hey did they contact you about attempting to deliver in the semi truck before doing a shuttle at which he said not. On top of that he says that’s not an issue anyways as my truck is smaller due to the semi truck being broken.
So not only does the contract state all interstate moves are done with a semi truck. I also have email verification from the company saying it was on a semi truck. And I was about to get charged for a shuttle fee due to having to download it from a semi truck. All to find out from the driver the truck was never part if the equation and it was broken. They don’t even know what’s going on in their own company.
After he arrives he opens this smaller trailer at which they had to fit multiple shipments In to make ends meet. And bam there is my stuff crammed all the way in the back. My tv just sitting on my couch not strapped down.
As he starts pulling the couches out I see all my bixes squished. Due to having to pack the truck so tight to fit all the shipments that were supposed to be done with a semi truck.
As my boxes come upstairs I see my boxes mangled . Holes in some. Rips. Ashes you name it. And bam a big hole in my tv box 70 inch. We open it up and it’s broke.
After everything is unloaded I sleep. Wake up and go through my stuff. Two items missing. A broken coffee table. Rips in both my couch and love seat. And a broken tv.
I contact the calims department. They offer me 75$. As they said I signed for a 60 cent per item insurance. I go back and look. I did my mistake. But no other insurance was ever offered to me or I would have taken a better insurance.
I try to work with them nothing. Only an increase if 25$. My tv alone was 1100$
I ask to talk to a supervisor oh guess what they don’t have one and all you can do is contact them via email.
Long story short avoid them at all cost. If you do use them get the final amount up front. Get extra insurance .

Pathetic Liars
Pathetic Liars. They broker out 90% of their work. Their “website” keeps going up and down, sometimes brining you to a gambling website. And my “Quality Assurance” representative was definitely on drugs. I would never use them and I am speaking with a lawyer currently. They should be ashamed.

If we could do 0 stars I would. This was the WORST moving experience we have ever had- especially in terms of customer service. We moved from the southwest to the north east with nothing but movers with an attitude who kept threatening to charge us for things like the payment pending for 5 minutes not to mention on a federal holiday! While unloading they moved out at least 5 things that did not even belong to us and laughed when I said this seems not good. They then gave me an attitude when I refused to sign off on paperwork without checking for all of my belongings even after the fact of them mixing up other peoples things with ours. On top of it they came an hour early, did not even give us an hour notice- a 15 minute notice and said not to be too late even though the company stated a different time and I was told I would get an hour heads up. They then tried to charge us for a shuttle because they were convinced an 18 wheeler wouldn’t fit where we needed them to go- meanwhile during the move another 18 wheeler was able to fit with plenty of room! So since they refused to go where we asked we ended up having to move our things and they just unloaded the truck. Overall mover seem lazy, incompetent with lack of common sense, and unaware of the contracts their clients are signing trying to cover themselves than doing a good job. I would NEVER recommend this moving company- I would honestly recommend uhaul to avoid the headache and rudeness.

MOVING HORROR
This company is awful....... they promised but did not deliver well. They packed, yet my bedroom dresser is damaged, boxes are missing, large items are missing, and there were damaged and totally broken goods. They kept my household waiting for 3 weeks in storage before getting on the road. In the meantime, I had to sleep on a blowup bed and purchase things I needed that were on the truck. I completed the required list of broken, damaged and missing items, but they amazingly never found anything or offered reimbursement. I had even sent proof of my purchase of a few of these items. Then the company simply came up with a ridiculously low amount of money to compensate me, which did not include the reimbursement for the blinds they broke at my old apartment. I am now in conversation with my lawyer.
