All the information was presented in an organized and well structured format. really helped me set goals and stay on track. Yes some may say you can study this information without a program like this. The value I find here is that everything is aggregated and organized from what you should know first, then gradually integrates what you should learn after. The labs are super helpful and the mentors know their stuff!!!

This has been the most regretful financial decision of my life. When I enrolled in NGT Academy, I was living paycheck to paycheck and desperately trying to improve my situation. I took a risk because their marketing promised a clear, structured path into an IT career. Instead, I ended up trapped in a system that feels predatory, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic human understanding.

From the very beginning, I felt uncomfortable. I was pressured to share my screen, exposing private information, while being rushed through lengthy legal documents that were summarized in just a few sentences. With a $13,000 price tag, I expected modern, high‑quality content. What I got were outdated videos about more than five years old with audio quality so poor it was difficult to follow.
Despite trying to study, life didn’t pause for this program. I was working 60+ hours a week, often six days straight. On my one day off, I needed to rest and simply exist as a human being. Eventually, I found a stable job—not in IT, but in construction—and I’m genuinely content with that path. But because I wasn’t constantly active in their system, NGT Academy treats me as if my life circumstances don’t matter. And this is where the real issue begins: cancellation is practically impossible!

Once you sign those rushed documents, you’re locked in. They will circle you around endlessly, refusing to acknowledge financial hardship, personal circumstances, or the simple fact that I no longer use or benefit from their service. Their attitude is essentially: “You’re struggling? You’re not using the program? That’s fine—just keep paying us $500 a month.”

There is no empathy. No flexibility. No recognition that people’s lives change. I was verbally promised a refund if I didn’t get a job in IT. That promise vanished the moment I signed. It was never in writing, and they know exactly what they’re doing when they make those verbal guarantees. It’s a blanket statement designed to close the sale, not support the student.

Today, I’m working in construction, I’m not using their services, and I don’t find value in them anymore. Yet I’m still being forced to pay for something that provides me nothing. I have never been in debt before this, and the stress and disgust this situation has caused is overwhelming.

If NGT Academy responds to this review, I already know what it will look like: a long, polished message about their policies, their terms, their services—without acknowledging my actual experience. They will say, in many words, that cancellation is impossible unless extreme conditions are met, even though the enrollment process itself was rushed and pressured.

If they don’t respond, that silence speaks just as loudly. All I want is to cancel something I do not use and do not want. The fact that this simple, reasonable request is denied at every turn says everything about their business model.

It was alot of fun and really kept me engaged while I was leaning

The practice labs and the quizzes were my favorite part of this learning environment. It was broken up enough for me to grasp the basic concepts and truly understand this new world. I can't speak highly enough of my instructor Jacob Hess for his unique way of presenting a large amount of information and using analogies and examples to help me understand the concepts.

My experience with NGT Academy has been extremely positive. The coursework is well structured, practical, and clearly designed to build real-world networking and cybersecurity skills rather than just theory. The labs push you to think critically, troubleshoot step by step, and truly understand how networks work at a professional level.

What stands out most is how hands-on the learning is. You’re not just following instructions, you’re learning how to diagnose problems, configure devices correctly, and understand why things work (or don’t). That approach has significantly improved my confidence with routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, DHCP, wireless, and voice configurations.

NGT Academy is a great choice for anyone serious about building a solid foundation in networking or cybersecurity. The program challenges you in the right way and prepares you for both certifications and real-world environments.

To be able to use a virtual lab. This is great experience and I am very happy about this.

I enjoy the low stress of the work being on my time. The instructions are quite thorough.

Company has underhanded refund practices. I have not started the class I want refunded and upon reading the refund policy I believed I was well within the 72 hours of starting that class for a full refund as I have not started it yet. I did not ask for a full refund just one on the course I did not take. Besides that the material is quite dated and at times leaves me questioning whether they care about the student at all. I will not be completing it and I will not be coming back. This is a slimey company and you can get the same education for free on youtube. The fsne is not as highly regarded as they claim.

The lesson videos and the instructor, Jason Hess, are outstanding. The explanations are clear and easy to follow, which made even complex topics easier to understand. I learned a lot from this course and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in expanding their knowledge in this field.

NGT Academy is a great resource to elevate your career to those who are serious about their future. These courses are taught so everyone can understand.

I went in not entirely knowing what to expect from myself but left with a lot of knowledge and pride. I really enjoyed the course.

they have created an opportunity for me to have a career and change my life. I have PTSD and other health predicaments that can make my life trajectory less than ideal. But Garrett and everyone at ngt. have come alongside me and supported my journey to this point. not yet working but soon I have faith!!!

It was a great experience, and I learned a lot. The platform is very user-friendly. I like the flexibility and how it keeps you focused so you can reach your goal.

Very great material and excellent instructors. Very informative for a new person like me. 1000% would recommend to everyone wanting to change career.
