We very recently ordered the Kensington Heavy duty extending Table and 8 chairs. I'm always a bit wary of ordering expensive items from a company new to me, so had a read of the reviews here and decided to purchase.

Ordered on the 18th June (Thursday), despatch confirmation the next day, and delivered by the carrier the following Wednesday.

Very prompt service for was was a big, bulky delivery. The table and chairs are also of a very very good quality indeed. We are very pleased with our order.

It was well made and strong.

I ordered a teak coffee table earlier this year. I was called by the NGD owner? who was really helpful explaining that table was delayed due to closure of Straits of Hormuz. I could either have my money back or wait for the table to arrive as soon as possible. As it was an important item, I agreed to wait for the table. I chased up the company several weeks later via email. I had a response to explain table no longer available but I could have similar design at price I had paid. I agreed to this and waited to be given a delivery date. A short time later I received a text to say my table would be delivered within 30 mins. Luckily I was at home to receive it. The driver delivered the boxed table and proceeded to assemble it on new ceramic tiled pathway. Not only was he rushing but he split one of the legs, got wood glue on 2 of the slabs which he then proceeded to try to remove with orbital sander after sticking and screwing table leg back on. It was a mess. I was reassured that I could keep this table but he would also return with a new one 2 weeks later. After 2 weeks I rang the company and was told it would be delivered by a different driver in 2 weeks. The day arrived and the table was delivered, boxed up and the driver left saying he wasn't going to assemble it which is what I expected. He took the repaired table back. My husband has since assembled the table and teak oiled it so it looks lovely.
Although this is a neutral review, the table is a different design to the one initially ordered but matches the bench I have, in shape and I was given the option to cancel the order.
The man I spoke to each time on the phone was always calm, polite and reassuring and tried to help get this delivery sorted.
It is a really robust table which I'm happy with.
Be aware, that if you need to phone NGD company with an enquiry or concern, the phone lines are switched off at the weekend and you can only speak to the owner if you have his number.

Excellent purchase. Opted for the heavy duty dining table and boy it was..only qualm the holes didn't seem big enough for the wooden dowels and wouldn't go fully in.

The furniture we bought is high quality and it was put together for us by the delivery driver, for an extra fee, which saved us from doing it. I would buy from them again.

Furniture arrived quickly and generally happy with it but two chairs were mouldy. I have tried to contact customer service on email but had no response. Their phone line also doesn’t work.

I spoke with a member of the team who was very helpful, he delt with my order straight away, it was dispatched when he said it would be, delivered on time , extremely well packaged, no damage to any item and it was easy to assemble. The quality is absolutely brilliant, I would recommend to buy from them.

Although I didn’t end up with my purchase due to my size calculation error, Tony was extremely understanding, helpful and communicative. It’s a shame we couldn’t have the table and chairs in the end as they looked amazing.

Don’t advertise items you do not stock, customer service needs a complete overhaul. I’ve bought items from companies that engage and are helpful. It’s my money and this company won’t get any. They rang me and threatened me, I have details

recorded, will report this company to the police. I have full evidence of their call to me. I was told Tory wasn’t in today suddenly he’s threatening me and saying I’m a computer, this is a deplorable, disingenuous company and I can prove it. Tory rang me on his mobile number that was intimidating and harassment. Don’t trust anything they say or do.
