no shipping after four weeks, suspected fraud

On January 1, 2026, I ordered two fragrances that were listed as “in stock” at the time. On the same day, about 8 hours after placing my order, I received an email notification that my order had already been shipped. I was surprised that the shipment was so fast, but didn't think much of it.
After seven days, the order status in the Shopify app had not changed from “waiting for details” so I wrote an email inquiring about the order status. I have not received a response to this email to date.
Three days after sending this email, I tried contacting them via live chat on their website and was told that the order would be delayed due to the Christmas season and snowstorms in Europe. This information also sounded plausible to me, so I accepted it.
On October 17, 2026, I inquired again via live chat, as I still couldn't see any change in the situation. The renewed delay was suddenly attributed to problems with logistics and data processing, but again, no specific shipping date was given.
On January 21, 2026, I contacted the company one last time and clearly stated that I would give them until January 29, 2026, to ship my order. I also wrote that if the order could not be shipped by the specified date, I would like to cancel it. I have not yet received a response to this message, which I sent to them both via live chat and email. Furthermore, I have not received a shipping notification or the goods to date and have now contacted my bank to request a refund.
