After waiting 2 months to have my mobility scooter fixed, Ken B showed up last Friday and "fixed" it. After driving 1/2 mile it stopped. Same issue. Motor running but no forward movement. Called immediately but no one called me back. Called Monday, informed them I was going on vacation and had to have it fixed this week. Was told the mechanic would be here Tuesday between 12 and 4. No one showed up, no call, no nuthin'. Called today and the National Rep called the branch scheduler told her the tech stopped but i wasn't home. Absolute lie. Finally talked to the mechanic who apologized profusely for not showing up the day before, confirming the scheduler lied. This is no way to treat customers. Unfortunately since this is the vendor Kaiser uses, I am stuck with them.

It is reassuring to know I have this company and this store in particular servicing my wheelchair. CUSTOMER CARE IS AS IMPORTANT TO ME AS THE ACTUAL REPAIR OR PIECE OF EQUIPMENT...... AND I AM THRILLED WITH NATIONAL'S CUSTOMER SERVICE.....YOU ROCK!!!
THE MOST HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE
I called the No indicated in NSM's website, asking for a wheelchair model, that NSM is a distributor according to the manufacturer. The agent who responded had no idea, so she transferred me to the Miami/Doral Branch. The lady at the Branch that responded also had no idea of that model, and then proceeded to hang up on me when I requested that she take my message for a representative to call me back next business day,

Unreliable electric wheelchair ♿️
I received a brand new electric wheelchair in April-2025. Ever since it has charging problem. It started to lose power in about four blocks. I have called them several times and they changed two different modules and the charger but the problem is still there and this is January-2026. Horrible answering service. They don’t call back when i leave massages. It seems like they can’t even figure out the exact problem. I can’t go out on my wheelchair.
It takes too long and is too difficult to get what is needed from this company.
I started the process of getting a new wheelchair in 2023. I did everything that was required on my part. I saw the doctor and had the face to face, etc... My doctor tried calling MSN, left messages and I did too over a period of months. We never received any call backs. I finally did get a hold of and spoke to a real human being. When I spoke to this human being, I was told that my order was canceled because they never heard from my doctor and I. WE DID NOT GET A RESPONSE AFTER LEAVING MESSAGES or WE COULD NOT GET THROUGH. So, my doctor and I had to start the whole process over again. My doctor was irate and so was I. I finally got to the point where I actually had to see a physical therapist and a NSM rep at the same time. I received a message from my doctor saying that that an appointment had been made. I went to that appointment. The physical therapist did what she had to do while waiting for the NSM rep to come. We waited a long time. THE NSM REP NEVER SHOWED UP! There was never a phone call to cancel. There was NOTHING! I was furious. I waited for over a year for that appointment. The whole point of that appointment was for the physical therapist and the NSM rep to be there at the same time. I went home and called NSM. I was seething. I called NSM and spoke to an actual human being. She said that she would look into the matter. The physical therapist had my appointment on her schedule. Then, I called my sister who is my medical advocate. She called MSN to try to find out why the NSM rep didn't show. My sister was told that my appointment was not put on the rep's schedule. 😡 Whoever does scheduling at NSM messed up royally! The NSM rep a few weeks later came to my house to measure me and my old wheelchair. My chair arrived 3 months later. I have gotten 3 wheelchairs and a scooter from NSM in the past, I would have thought by now their customer service would be better. Each experience each time has gotten worse. Their customer service is terrible! I need a wheelchair because I can't walk. My wheelchair are my legs. People need these medical appliances to stay active. It shouldn't take so long or be that difficult to get what is needed. There should not be that much run around. It took 1-1/2 years to finally my new wheelchair. That's not acceptable. My doctor said that she will never use NSM again, ever. She said that she will not allow another patient to use NSM. I am done with NSM!!!
STOP FRAUD ON MEDICARE
Can improve by NOT FRAUD ON MEDICARE! Stop denying rehab to eligible folks who would be better served by Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy. It is more financially lucrative to sell a wheelchair and keep the person deprived of their dignity. It silences people individuals, forges a path to nursing homes, deprives of human rights and fills the pockets of greedy people.

Richard Petersen made it easy for me to just sit down and listen. I don't usually go through the process of what any have to say or talk about how things are, but Richard Petersen was smooth and professional. I had missed my appointment just because i wanted to hear everything he said. he was there from the beginning to the end, thank you Richard Petersen.
Lemon law
My wheelchair needs to be lemon lawed before I end up getting hurt because of this wheelchair.
Here’s why:
1) I’ve had a lot of technical difficulties where my wheelchair errors and then just powers down, twice while I was crossing the street and was almost hit.
Then there was a glitch where joystick out of center came up about 20 times when I was stopped and not touching it.
It updated and powered off well I was using it.
2) The chair itself is unsafe the company has sent people out to fix it multiple times
* because the side pieces that hold me up are constantly falling off
* the right arm is going to fall off
* the joystick had to be replaced
* and more
they don’t believe in paperwork (showing there were repairs) so I couldn’t lemon law my wheelchair.
When I first got the chair the seat cover ripped right at the seams which is covered by warranty but my insurance still payed for a new one. Know I’m waiting on knew motors on a 1 year old chair. The batteries needed to be replaced at 6 months, and aren’t working correctly now.
DO NOT USE National Seating & Mobility for your wheelchair
In 2024 I received prescription for a new manual wheel chair., but the wheelchair did not fit it was too wide, the wrong push handles. One month I met with Jeremy Pierce of National Seating & Mobility (NSM) together with a therapist from Swan Rehab regarding the new manual wheelchair. I have been trying to successfully connect with the employees of NSM office to complete the original order. As of today 7/30/2025, I is still without a functioning wheelchair. I am is 78 years old, quadriplegic, has used wheelchairs for the last 50 years, and this is completely unacceptable. This company is so bad that is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. They are also a vendor from Humana, and Humana is actually very upset with this company.

NSM - Not good, VERY BAD!!!!
First let me start off by saying NONE OF THE W/C COMP. CARE FOR US, our illnesses, or problems. NSM bought out a smaller company (Hudson) and I've been with them for 10 years - or 2 motorized w/c. Trying to get a new w/c cuz it is time. They lie like rugs!! They suck to H, don't give a damn about our w/c, takes FOREVER to get someone on the phone after leaving 8 messages about my joystick not clinging to its magnet, before someone comes out to BS you about your equip., says they have to order WHTEVR, never get back to you for MONTHS before they come out to "fix" (I use that term VERY LOOSELY). // Called them Aug. '24 about joystick, told them the magnet won't hold anymore, got told to ""CALL BACK AFTER THE HOLIDAYS""; In Nov., I went to the store, made a right turn, joystick left magnet, kept me turning, I fell out of w/c, broke my thumb, scarred up my face on a retaining wall; strangers picked me up and helped me and called cops, fire, ambulance but they, the AMB, can NOT take a motorized w/c into the cab and I was NOT leaving my $38K w/c in the street for someone to take!!!, Obviously a fire truck could not take me, NOT EVEN THE COPS would walk me to ER (they couldn't take me in car - not allowed and the w/c doesn't fold), so I walked to Tufts ER in pain by myself!! I could NOT GET SURGERY because I would not be able to use the joystick, R side, R handed, R thumb. Hopefully I won't get stuck with NSM this time around.
Extremely helpful experience at Kelowna BC Branch
Graham at the Kelowna branch in BC (Canada) was extremely helpful when the push handle broke on my mum's wheelchair whilst we were on vacation from the UK.
He was extremely responsive and helpful - suggesting we drop the wheelchair in for them to look at and showing concern that mum would not have access to the wheelchair for the few hours it was with them.
We had a phone call to say a temporary repair had been made a short while afterwards (as they did not have the necessary parts for a UK wheelchair).
We collected the chair and Graham made sure we were happy with the temporary repair - and an even nicer surprise was that they did not charge for their time.
Avoid the New Mexico franchise from Albuquerque. Promises promises promises. These people are so unethical. I can’t believe that they’re still in business but I know it is a big national company
I bought a standing frame for $4500 and paid out-of-pocket. It really hurt my knees, and I am 5 foot three and it said for people 5 feet tall.
I worked with one of their representatives for 2+ months and was promised repeatedly that they would get me the correct adaptive kneepads. I was willing to pay for these, they never did.
They refused to take the equipment back. It’s outrageous. How poor this company in New Mexico works with their customers.

I have been extremely pleased with the work and caring attitude of your employee Warren. i have been in a wheelchair for a long time and have dealt with other companies in Nova Scotia. I am so glad to have Warren to deal with. No comparison to the others. I will deal with Warren for all of my future purchases.
company Failure
Started power chair order process in January. In February got a call to review payment plan after Medicare approval. Negotiated settlement for monthly plan. Assumed chair was ordered. Got a call in March saying plan was not approved and chair had not been ordered. Company lies to customers and horrible follow up. Medicare should not approve anything from them

THESE PEOPLE COULD CARELESS ABOUT YOU, I HAVE WAITED 8MONTHS TO GET A POWER CHAIR REPAIR AND THEY GAVE EVERY EXCUSE IMAGINABLE, FIRST THEY SAID THEY GAVE WRONG CODES, NEXT THEY DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH MECHANICS, NEXT IT WAS MY DR'S FAULT FOR NOT SENDING IN THE PAPERWORK(I PROVED THAT A TOTAL LIE!) THEN IT WAS NOT APPROVED BY MY INSURANCE YET EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE APPROVAL PAPERWORK FOR MONTHS. NEXT THEY BLAMED IT ON THE WRONG CODES BEING ENTERED AGAIN. THEN A WOMAN FLAT OUT LIED TO ME TELLING ME SHE HAD NO DIRECT EXTENSION ANYMORE SO SHE WOULDNT HAVE TO DEAL WITH ME CALLING ABOUT MY REPAIR ANYMORE, I TOLD HER I LOST HER EXTENSION AND ASKED FOR IT AGAIN ( I ACTUALLY HAD IT IN MY DRAW AND AFTER WE HUNG UP I CALLED AND IT WAS HER EXTENSION) LIARS AND THEIR REPAIRS SUCKED, ONCE, before this repair request.. THEY CAME OUT AND FIXED MY WHEEL CASTERS, A WEEK LATER THEY WERE BROKE AGAIN. THE LAST TIME I CALLED I HAD MADE SURE I HAD A UNITED HEATH AGENT ON THE LINE WITH ME BEFORE I CALLED AND WAS LIED TO ABOUT IT BEING APPROVED AGAIN, AT THE POINT I TOLD THE UNITED HEALTH AGENT WHAT I BEEN DEALING WITH AND SHE INFORMED THE NATIONAL SEATING AGENT THAT WAS FALSE INFORMATION..SO I FIRED THEM AND FOUND A MUCH BETTER COMPANY, AGAIN RUN FROM THIS JOKE OF A SCAM COMPANY THAT LIES TO ITS CUSTOMERS AND COULDN'T FIX A BENT SPOON PROPERLY NEVERMIND A POWERCHAIR. National seating and mobility is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They don’t even deserve one star. It’s so true, they don’t answer phone calls and don’t ever leave a voice mail message. Your call will not be returned. They have been working on my husband’s chair for at least 7 or 8 months. The technicians keep ordering the same wrong parts. Over and over again. It’s been established 3 times, the chair doesn’t need a battery and joystick. Yet, they come with a battery and joystick. I never seen anything like this. And they have horrible customer service who tried to tell me that my husband should use his manual wheelchair. My husband had a stroke, and can’t use his right side. Yet the rep thinks a 6’5 400 hundred pound man should use a manual chair everyday. Honestly, I don’t think they know what’s wrong with the chair and they don’t care.

I absolutely love this company!! They are so passionate about what they do. They have some of the best customer service especially Mrs Trina. And Mike , and David are awesome. They have great quality items. I would definitely recommend this company!! You will love them
Find Another DME Provider ASAP
Albany, NY office. Find another provider for your DME. My giving them two stars is being extremely generous. Trying to get someone to answer the phone is ridiculous. Leave a message and they never get back with you. They just won't. Even several messages and nothing back from them. I've been dealing with this place for years. It's a real sh** show over there. Some of the rudest, most incompetent people I've ever dealt with. I was told recently, by an employee, that nobody ever gets fired. Regardless of how they treat customers, it's a job for life. Now that's not any way to run a business and explains the horrible customer service. I have never received my DME in a timely manner. It's always some problem with the doctor's office. They don't take responsibility for any issues. Actually, it's pretty disgusting. I'll be filing a report with the Attorney General. I will no longer accept being treated like garbage.
