Octasmart mattress topper fail…
Initially fantastic but at 2 years old now offering no support. Warranty not honoured by Dormeo, as they state that my reported concerns and images sent don’t qualify. So as long as you understand after 2 years it needs replacing you will be fine.

We brought two ,two years ago .A great big dip in both of them has appeared .We paid a lot of money for these ,they certainly are not cheap to buy .The warranty means zero they don’t honour this agreement which should be looked into as it’s false advertising.I would say in all honesty you need to replace every 12 months otherwise your health will suffer I.e hip pain.

Ordered on13.12.24 guaranteed Christmas delivery, email next day early January, so cancelled order as needed for daughter visiting over xmas. Refund will be 5-7 days. No refund no contact. Phoned again told nothing on system will cancel again. 3 days later no communication no refund. few days later email confirming delivery. Rang again and said cancelled why are you delivering? told just don't accept order when arrives at door nothing she can do !!! so wait in 8am-6pm surprise surprise no mattress delivered. emailed huge complaint about service, still no email or correspondence from dormeo. Tried ringing waited 37 minutes still no answer, tried again 23 minutes no answer. So still not mattress which I don't want and no refund. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE disgusting service.

I paid £300 for my mattress topper.
OMG what a total waist of money.
This is the worst thing I have ever bought.
Do not be fooled by their advertising.
It is useless and even the zip broke within a week. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE

I purchased an Octosmart mattress topper from Dormeo. Unfortunately I have had to return it as it wasn't fit for purpose. They are going to charge me £39.99 for the privilege. I seem to remember the advert saying free delivery and returns. It turns out the return is only free on certain items. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE RETURN. Very misleading

The dipping on both sides doesn’t go back to normal … not great .. this wasn’t mentioned in the advert 😡

Im now convinced that every bad review that’s been written about this company is true. The mattress topper arrived and to start it is a washed out whitish blue colour with a bright orange edging … it looks really cheap. However much worse than that is the smell. It smells horribly chemical even after being on the bed with no sheet on the top for days and days.Customer service is ZERO so I have no illusions that I’ve lost a considerable amount of money here as I hold no hope now of a refund even though I’m within the return period

Paid £500 for the king size mattress , failed after few months , it has sunk on both sides enough to feel the slats in bed frame ,it has a massive hump in middle of bed now , wake up every morning in pain with my back I contacted them regarding this , after months and months of going backwards and forwards with them , bear in mind it takes them over a week to get back to you , they now have turned round and said I can’t claim as the slats in my bed are more than 7.5cm apart , now there is nothing on there t&c’s that state this SO BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A SLATTED BED FRAME , absolute joke of a company will now be starting legal proceedings against them

Much like every other review here, absolutely awful mattress! It has dipped, no matter how many times you rotate it, I feel as if I'm going to roll out of it!

If you like the smell of heavy chemicals this is the mattress for you! Also don't bother with the £50 pillows! They are wafer thin and give you neck ache!

Should never have believed the RRP, if people have genuinely paid this I feel sorry for them!

I did try to contact dormeo but the customer service advisor asked for evidence of the dip in the mattress, it had to be more than a 5cm dip!

Due to my partner being pregnant she was using a pregnancy pillow, this only aggrevated the mountain range that now exists between us!

Leaving the mountain range aside, the best way to describe the sleeping position is like a hammock your bum feels so close to the floor and your feet and head are at the same height! Absolute rubbish DO NOT BUY!

If there was a zero rating I would use it
Ordered 2 October 2024. Told it would be delivered 31 October.
I rang on that date as no emails from company and told it was delayed until 8 November!!!
Nothing on 8 November so got in touch. Need to get hold if. DX - delivery company.
Cannot phone this company, I know why. Well received email from DX Delivery. “please do not reply” on 11 November,
Your order arriving tomorrow 12 November!!!
Well 12 November here and, yes, you have guessed it. NOT ARRIVING TODAY. Well no number but typed in details “through to wrong department?” I had no choice!!! Correct person will call me. No number shown but someone has rung me. When is it to arrive I ask, operative, I can’t hear you properly??? WHAT?? Well she heard in the end and it is arriving TOMORROW. Can’t give a reason why - watch this space!!
Don’t order from Dormeo and don’t use. DX Delivery

Worst mattress I have ever bought,it has lost its shape. I os ok for the first 60 days, I have ended up sleeping on the edge of the bed otherwise it feels like I am sleeping on a slope. FIT FOR THE BIN

The Octasmart Topper ordered on the Super Sleeper Pro site arrived quickly.
After my research to find something suitable for me as a side sleeper with chronic hip pain, I thought I'd made the right choice. I've always preferred a firmer mattress, which this topper is, but sadly too firm to alleviate my pain. I added a fibre filled topper over it and it's doing the job although I practically need a step ladder to get into bed now!
What is driving me mad is that the topper slides off the mattress, despite my having it tucked in with the other topper, mattress protector and sheet all there to hold it down. It's hard work for me yanking it all back in place again.
I do think the topper is good value for money but I don't feel it was the right choice for my painful hips because of the firmness (and having to deal with it sliding). Hope this helps someone making a decision.

After My husband died two years ago I purchased one of these mattresses and up until recently was really pleased with it. I started to notice my lower back, hips etc were aching when I woke up, also the mattress started dipping in places. I put up with this for two weeks and could stand it no more so I took cover off to have a look. The netting covering the mattress had split both sides and I could see that the foam springs had come apart and collapsed. I spent two hours trying to phone helpline with no answer, I sent two emails and received no response total waste of space company, mattress not fit for purpose now I'm reporting to trading standards don't waste your money !!!!

Absolute joke of a company, firstly took ages to come, finally arrived after weeks ( website says 7 days delivery )
The quality is terrible, not even had it 3 months and its lost shape and already has dips , so..... i try and call Dormeo to arrange for it to be returned as i am still within my sleep trial, after multiple calls being on hold for 40 mins + and never getting to speak to anyone, I email them..... 7 times, no response, so I get the CEO's email address and yes you guessed it, 3 emails no response. You are a disgrace of a company with your fancy adverts, you should be investigated for making false promises, believe me i will not let this go

The topper arrived in a battered cardboard box held together with selotape. I left it 48 hours before using it. After lying on it it became flat in half an hour. I did remove the cover to have a look at it and the topper was just a layer of white foam, nothing like the illustration in their adverts. A load of rubbish and a waste of money.
All I can say if if you are thinking of buying a topper from Dormeo is don't waste your money.

Bought the Octasmart Plus Topper , when I ordered I was told 7 to 14 days for delivery , after 14 days contacted Dormeo UK , they said they normally quote 28 days . Yes of course it was 28 days .
Followed the instructions and allowed 12 hours airing , after 2 days the chemical odour is still strong ! Making me nauseas , will give it another couple of days if no improvement in the chemical smell it will be returned .
It is comfortable , but smells ! Given the experience I would not go anywhere near Dormeo ?

Paid a lot for our Octasmart mattress and since moving it, all the separate bits inside have come loose and bunched up at one side causing a large lump.

Just received my outsmart topper, looked inside the zipped cover....shock horror, no octagon shaped inner, just a lump of foam rubber, this is not
what I have seen on tv advert. I do not expect any good night's on this item, will wait and see what the next few weeks are like.

A warranty of a dozen years inspires conflidence. The old mattress only caused headaches and terrible sleep. THANKS, I DON`T NEED IT! I`M TIRED! The new mattress gave me a great night`s sleep and now I am energized every day to run the world!
