From speaking with John McEwan to his colleague coming over to install my EV charger, the process has been seamless and quick. I was kept informed of every part of the process. Would absolutely recommend.

Ohms installed my original 6 panels and inverter 2 years ago and the guys were excellant, every one.
This time I had to get the panels taken off to have a new roof put on and the company were brilliant. I don't think I could have gotten a better service anywhere else. Nicole in the office is a really good lass, always so helpful and cheerful.
They took the panels off and put them, and an additional 6 back on with no hassles whatsoever. They only had 2 days notice of the roof being finished and that was just before christmas but still managed to accommodate me.
The guys fitting the inverter are all polite and respectful, I couldn't ask for better

We were looking to install solar panels and batteries . We contacted 3 different suppliers. After initial phone call Ohms emailed a detailed document outlining the costs and potential savings. John in the sales department was very helpful and organised a visit by the tech team first ( the other suppliers sent sales people first). After confirming the complete spec and cost, installation was arranged. The team arrived on time and both the roof team and electrician worked hard all day and were very pleasant , listening to any concerns we had. They were very tidy and tidied up before they left.Slight glitch on start up but quickly resolved by Ohms. Overall , very happy with the experience and would highly recommend Ohms

We had solar panels, a heat pump and new radiators installed by OHMS a few months ago. The process was so simple, the guys worked incredibly hard, there was no mess and everything works perfectly. The roofers who fitted the panels and the electricians who fitted the battery and connected it all up were extremely efficient and very tidy. I received good support from the folk at head office when I had any questions in the run up to the installation. I was very satisfied with the whole process.

We'd heard stories about other companies out there offering to install renewable systems but who didn't deliver. OHMS not only delivered, but delivered over and above anything we could have hoped for! From the first contact we had with Scott Tennant, OHMS Head Surveyor, he was super helpful, full of honest information and support. We were helped through the ECO4 application process, kept fully informed at all stages, had an independent assessor come out to inspect the property and our circumstances. We were delighted to find we did qualify. Whilst things moved fast from that point, again we were kept fully up-to-date with what to expect. All the trades in the installation team who worked on our property were outstanding, each one worked efficiently, with skill, were super friendly and treated us, our property and neighbour's property with respect. 2 days later we had 10 solar panels, an air source heat pump, a water tank/boiler, new radiators throughout the house and our loft insulated...and another few hours later the tank was beautifully boxed in by a bespoke floor to ceiling cupboard. We have had work done before and never had such a high standard of workmanship or cleanliness - including removing all the rubbish and packaging from in and around the house. We cannot recommend OMHS and their workforce highly enough. The company has a load of genuine, relevant accreditations which we checked out beforehand, including MCS Certified and Net Zero Scotland/Scottish Government. Huge thanks to everyone who made the transition to greener energy and a warmer home such an easy process.

Ohms fitted my heat pump and solar panels. I would recommend them to anyone, the staff are all helpful and efficient you wouldn't know they had been in the house they left it clean and tidy. Very pleased thank you.

I was fortunate enough to have been gifted a solar system from my employer, but trying to find an installer was nearly impossible.
But thanks to a google search I found OHMS Renewables, and was immediately relieved after talking to the Head of Sales John Mcewan.
I provided all of the details John requested and was given a great quote in having it installed and commissioned.
It’s companies like OHMS and employees like John that makes the world a better place.
Their electricians were first class and the fit and finish of the system was first class.

I contacted OHMS on behalf of my elderly mother, following a word-of-mouth recommendation from a friend.
Each and every member of the team I met or spoke with were extremely helpful, kind, thoughtful and highly professional.
Since my mother is a nonagenarian, it was my responsibility to complete all the necessary paperwork, yet alas, forms and I are not at all compatible. I would like to thank John (Toal) especially, for his advice, assistance, good humour and patience as I struggled to complete and corral these pesky bits of paperwork.

OHMS have been great from start to finish. They were amongst 15 quotes that I received (yes I know I went overboard). There quote price and. Alue exceeded others. The roofers and electrician visited to check everything which made a change from a salesman. John was responsive to all my emails. They were reassuring and knowledgeable. I found Ohms to be exceptionally helpful. John McEwan was fantastic at screwing the deal together and I cannot speak highly enough of their team that installed my system. Johnny their lead engineer was just superb.
Some of the correspondence was a little slow but this was partly due to constraints from SSEN and summer holidays.
All up would I use them again and recommend them - is a resounding yes.

Ohms Renewables recently installed new high retention storage heaters and roof photovoltaic panels. Have to say that in over 40 years as a homeowner, Ohms are up there with the best companies I've ever dealt with. Easy to contact and speak with. After surveyors visits, the two day installation took place on the promised dates and the roofers and electricians were faultless. A great bunch of guys who were knowledgeable, friendly, communicative and tidy. Everything was explained to me before they left on the second day and all waste was removed from site. I can't recommend Ohms Renewables highly enough and will definitely use them again for future work. Ten out of ten, Ohms. Thanks.

I am very pleased with the work carried out in my cottage. Part of the house dates back to 1750 & the walls are very thick ! The drilling took longer than expected. The team overcame many problems. All good in the end !
