Very well made and robust product, prefect for my work bench that has many low power test instruments. My product was built to order and delivered in about a week.

I am afraid my experience was poor. I wanted a 6 way block with no neon. I ordered and paid on the website and included my no neon request in the comments and via email. I was told this was no possible, although I know people who have asked for and received exactly that. No if I’d done something wrong and there was an extra payment for this modification or I needed to call and ask directly, fine just highlight that to me and off we go instead I just got repeated “computer says no”type replies, with no suggested solution. If they genuinely can’t do this then it shouldn’t say they can do custom builds on the website.

Staff were knowledgeable, polite, professional and able to answer my questions. The goods supplied were of excellent quality and fitted the description perfectly. The products are assembled in-house so there is some flexibility if something slightly different to the standard range is required providing it will still meet with the governing standards. Everything was delivered on time and in good quality packaging.

The product came quickly and was well packed. However one of the screw terminals (neutral on plug 7) was not screwed in; and the brass screw itself was loose inside - that's how I knew as it rattled when I picked it up.

I took it apart and fitted it myself, although Olson offered to send me another which would have been a lot more hassle.

Shame they did not offer me anything as a thanks for saving them the trouble until I requested it myself.

Olsen are a wonderful company making no nonsense power distribution units at sensible prices, why audiophiles pay £000s for boutique mains blocks is beyond me. Olsen’s service and build quality is as good as it gets.
