This business has 5 Outstanding CCJs from the last 12 months, with good reason.

The business seems to run a modus operandi of buying broken automatic vehicles with transmission issues, claiming to have fixed them, clearing the error codes, and then taking drivers on very short test drives (less than 20 minutes) before the transmission fluid heats up.

I have verified this, with evidence, after I caught them using the service stamps of another business in Exeter who confirmed that they had never worked on the vehicle. Omni Motor Group (specifically Raja) confirmed to me several times in writing that they had completed a £2000 repair on the gearbox, providing only a hand written service book using the stamp of another workshop. The workshop were unable to verify the work had been completed by themselves. When challenged, Omni motor pulled the sale.

This fits the pattern of other reviews, where a car is sold as working, having supposedly undergone major works, only to die on the first serious drive customers make the following week. The dealer refuses to accept credit cards, and only takes cash. They even negotiated a deal to take a card, only to refuse this on the day of purchase, in an attempt to pressure people into a cash payment.

People pay cash, for cars that break down the following day or week, and the dealer refuses to accept returns as required by consumer rights, and will absolutely not honour any warranty agreement.

This is their standard mode of operations. It explains why they have faced compulsory strike off action by companies house, and as of the 23rd July 2026, have 5 outstanding and unpaid CCJs against them from customers who have purchased broken vehicles with only cleared codes.

The main dealer will rant about how he's an honest guy and never does anything dodgy. But I've got hard evidence of misrepresentation and potential fraud, as well as the historical public evidence of CCJs and poor reviews.
I will be providing everything I can to Trading Standards in hope of getting this bloke shut down, because he also owns several other businesses in the area.

Wish I'd seen the other reviews before I bought a car from them. Car lost power and went in to limp mode within 30 days of purchase. Omni Motor Group refusing to refund (as per their legal responsibility), so I'm having to escalate to trading standards and probably a court claim (which I suggest others with similar experiences also do). Steer clear.

Bought a car from this garage. Within the 30 days the car broke down and won't go into gear. Other warning lights have appeared on the dash and smaller more none urgent problems have appeared. Very much feels like they covered it all up just to sell it on. Have requested a refund as is our rights by law. They have refused so now taking them to small claims court.
If the car was ok and easy to fix surely they would refund and repair rather than ghosting us. When we bought the car the salesman was quick to say how he would be there if anything went wrong/family man etc etc. Clearly this isn't the case.

The worst car buying experience I've had. I drove over an hour to come see a car after emailing through autotrader and booking an appointment. I was then told to go to a different address which I couldn't seem to find so I rung the number I was given, and then they told they new nothing about me coming. The man on the phone then started shouting said "sorry bro" then hung up.

Don't waist your time here.

Brought a car recently and specifically asked if the timing chain had been done as this specific engine is renowned for them breaking. I was told they were unsure but it drives lovely, no faults. The cars engine light came on the day after I got it, limp mode and timing chain gone. Thousands to fix. My messages were ignored. Then I was told I had been told the chain needed doing, despite them not even mentioning it once and me being the one to ask if it had been done or not. The car obviously has more faults that I’ve been lied to about (faulty window, faulty boot) the electronics along with the engine are busted. No response. No care at all. As long as they are flipping cars for a fast penny. AVOID AT AND SAVE YOUR MONEY

I purchased a car. Which developed problems soon after. Sadly the same has happened to other buyers as well. The company then refuse to answer calls, emails etc. I wrote a review which he's now had removed from Google. Saying it's a fake review. This is what he says for all the negative reviews he gets. Everyone who has purchased a car with issues are getting in touch with the car ombudsman to get this cowboy shut down. Taking people's hard earned money for cars they are selling with issues. It's disgusting. And being called a fake profile is laughable. I won't give up until this company is in court!!!

Bought a car from this company on the 5.2.2026 online got delivered the driver couldn't wait to get away had a look at the car took for a short drive and noticed it had a fault on the dash so the supplier agreed for me to withhold£250 until I got the 1 fault sorted .took to an independent garage and was told it has numerous faults one being the engine and the battery and was told the car is not fit for purpose and should be taken back by the supplier. I rang emailed messaged to be ignored until today to be told I will not be getting a refund and was told to stop writing stupid reviews as they are fed-up with the one truthful review I wrote and then hung up on me! please do not purchase from these rogues! look at all the reviews which I wish I had done before purchasing .absolute sham of a company I will be fighting this all the way!!
