ONE NZ Palmerston North Store
Went into the Palmerston North store on sat for my new phone, dealt with sam and he went out of his way to help me set up a phone, I didnt even buy the phone from them yet he was willing to help me and see me right. While i was there I saw them handle a angry old man who was complaining about his plan from 10 years ago i thought they showed class by no letting him get to them when i was wanting to tell him to bugger off. Retail really do get all sorts

Disappointed and misunderstood because of my needs and well being
After reading the reviews on here I thought to what I have been threw I suffer from sensory and adhd as well as intellectual it is very disappointing that I did not get look after I was trying to go to the branch to speak to the manager at Palmerston North Plaza but no one really cares thou also I thought by using one wallet will help to reduce the phone down but no really all a lie also I should of kept my old phone that I traded it in but they approve under 2k for me but I try my best to keep my bills up to date with them but Palmerston North is not friendly really to much look down and not understanding so there for I am hoping that the Head Office will read this. I was very sad during my walk into the store waited long but unfortunately my sensory disorder I broke down and sad so I just walk out anyhow I decided to stop going to the One NZ in Palmerston North Plaza because bad service and not understanding they are not experience, not friendly at all really my vision has degraded and the new phone is not fit for purpose only to make calls if I want to order a taxi I have to call but I tried on Wednesday night on Chrome it just cuts parts off in terms of the content as in location or the wording to check the status of live location for emails I will have to use my computer only the One app if I increase it just over lap or cut information of one of the seller said it is a good phone not really for my purpose. It is a waste of time going their alone I should of had a disability or a lawyer to advocate for me I do really break down because I always been a gentle soft person but easily to brake. I was hoping to get a bigger phone because of my vision I should got the small phone in the first place.

They used to be good but they are a ripp off company their rates are way higher than other provider and they trap customer with one nz wallet . If u looking for same service and better customer service and cheaper rate go with 2degree or spark..
One nz is hopeless
Where do I start with One Nz
Where do I start with One Nz. I’ve been having bad luck with this company since they changed from Vodafone to One Nz, connection is so bad keeps dropping out during the day & night just can’t win at all. I’ve had ongoing problems since forever & I’ve even given up calling they suggesting the same old troubleshooting stuff which never seems to work. I’ve submitted multiple complaints. Bloody frustrating & too add to this all internet monthly charges are just ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend One Nz at all to anyone. Do better bro stop eating our money while the service & network is shit doesn’t make sense. Scammers!!!
Avoid!!! Expensive..deceptive
Avoid!!!! Have read other reviews, seems like I am not alone with the concerns and dissatisfaction.
My major issue is that the increase in overall service rate with significant amount like $2.00 due to be added to companions and $5.00 to broadband. And to change we need 30 days notice, well hows that fair given changes to initial agreement isn't mutual, shud atleast waive the notice so consumers have a fair chance to get the service of their choice.
Regret ever trusting this service provider .
Mobile data is a complete shit show
Mobile data is a complete shit show 30 second + load times for basic web pages in Wainuiomata completely unacceptable in 2026 yet we still pay for it because there's no better option
3G phone sold when 3G network is…
3G phone sold when 3G network is switching off
Absolutely shocking that One NZ continues to sell phones that don't work on 4G when they're currently shutting down the 3G network. Refused to refund me for the unlock fee I paid to release the handset to another network. Crap service, took a month to even reply to my email.
The worst non person to person customer…
The worst non person to person customer experience I have ever struck.
There is no phone number to talk to a human, just a useless bot, and no email form or email address.
I wasted a lot of time online with bots til I finally got to humans, the second of which finally confirmed that the offers they had texted me to go to online, were not on there yet.
Better broadband speed and coverage.
I'm having better speed and broadband coverage. Overall satisfied.
Product, service and value for money matter
OK so I've been with this company for over 40 years. Service has varied over time. Where I live they have the monopoly for broadband supply and it is not fibre and never likely to get that. Don't get it any cheaper. Mobile service is fine, but customer service from overseas is rubbish. Couldn't hear them, they called me back but connection was just as bad. Then got a nz based person, clear connection and service was great. Come on, you have great people in nz stop being do cheap and trying to get overseas people you can pay less do your servicing, it's shit. You know the old saying pay peanuts get monkeys. We in nz are still charged way too much for internet and mobile usage.
Customer service was excellent
Customer service was excellent. From the time I processed for the transfer to the activation date, everything went smoothly. All the staff I spoke to were very helpful.
Two dDumb to Smart phoneays ago
Two days ago, I bought my first smartphone, a Smart V26 with preloaded prepaid. With help from my daughter, we did the basic setup, which took 30 minutes or so. At home, another hour to complete the basic setup. From my previous dumb phone, I had $20 credit I loaded another $30 which ran out on the completion of setting up. WOW $50 for an hour and a half of use made my eyes water. Had I made a mistake? A few abortive phone calls to One NZ and I had a few answers; go onto a monthly plan! I paid the requested $17 to join a monthly 1 GB plan on the prepay web page. That did not happen; three phone calls later (on my landline) it was confirmed that the changeover was complete. That cost $16 leaving me with $1 credit for the next 30 days.
Yes, it is a very easy phone for an elderly first-time user, but I am fearful of using it except in an emergency as it appears so expensive to run. Only one rep from One NZ was really helpful; the rest did not understand my concern about the extreme expenses incurred.
satisfied so far
The application process was smooth, and the modem was delivered promptly. I also received great support from the customer service team during installation. I’ve been using it for a month, and I'm very satisfied with the consistent performance, no connection issues at all.
Great team at Kerikeri
Great team at Kerikeri. Made changing over so easy.
AVOID
AVOID. Well, One NZ (when it was Vodafone NZ) used to be a decent ISP (speed and bandwidth wise anyway - the customer service was NEVER that great). However, since the change to ONE NZ, the service is declining and my connection is dropping out quite consistently, and the speeds are bad. The customer service has declined too, which I did not think was possible. AVOID.
Luckily I am switching over to WorldNet
Good price for our wireless (cellular)…
Good price for our wireless (cellular) internet service, which we have never gone over our 300gb monthly plan, but periodically are bumped off-line through, I imagine, too many users on a system which is unable to cater to the number of customers drawing from the system. The portability is the requirement for us, as were caravanners and are often on the road.
