Misdiagnosed by an NHS emergency dentist with 3 unnecessary X-rays and sent away with antibiotics while in agony. A week later, Fazakerley Hospital correctly diagnosed a cracked tooth. Chose private extraction due to wait times—expensive, but worth it. Developed a painful dry socket afterwards, but the follow-up care was brilliant: free X-ray, friendly staff, and affordable private prescription (£12). Friendly reception throughout. Took 3 weeks to get out of pain overall due to the initial misdiagnosis, but highly recommend the Fazakerley team.

This was the perfect experience of how a dental practice should be, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The procedure of my complex extraction couldn’t have went any smoother it was basically painless. Especially with my past experience when I went to another dental practice and had the worst experience, they tried to extract the same tooth but failed to do so. Therefore, I was very nervous coming to one dental but they quickly took away all my worries with their professionalism and reassurance they gave me.

As always it is a pleasure to go there for treatment. They always go the extra mile.

Fantastic experience at Drury Lane, Solihull!

Appointment made the same day for a wisdom tooth extraction. From walking in, the service was exemplary and the options and procedure were thoroughly explained. The whole process was completed in just over an hour and was relatively pain free. Detailed aftercare advice given. Almost 2 weeks later I have had no adverse reactions, no pain, no swelling, no bruising and am healing quickly. It was also reassuring to get a follow up call in the days after the appointment. Grateful thanks to Dentist Adeel and Nurse Sanya. I can highly recommend.

Received same day appointment after booking online; as my crown had fallen out. Liverpool - Longmoor lane Surgery. Lovely clean surgery. Receptionist was friendly and efficient. Waited around 40 minutes to be seen (busy surgery) quick X-ray which felt rushed (less than 5 mins) advised it would cost me £350 to have tooth put back in. Plus £20 for the consultation. I asked if it would be ok to wait until Monday (less than two days) as I have a nhs dentist. Was informed ‘no that it should be done asap to reduce infection risk’. Back in waiting room. Signed declaration which stated several times that this procedure is likely not to be successful etc (was not told that by dentist ). It took dentist less than 3 minutes to stick my tooth back in (£370 for less than 8 minutes work). I know private dentists/ weekend work cost a lot more than NHS but feel this is extortionate. Thought there would have been some kind of other treatment needed - wished I had just bought some dental cement from Boots for £6 and seen my own dentist on Monday. It’s all about making money these days. Save our NHS

From start to finish, this team were professional and quick. I called at 8am and was in the chair at 11.30. Brilliant team who explained everything and put me at ease.
A choice of payment methods at zero % made the operations affordable too.
Cant thank them enough.

Booked online and got a same day appointment which is positive, the dentist had informed me what the problem was however only said my two options were a clean (£395) or extraction (£650). Luckily I didn’t pay this, went elsewhere and paid £60 for cleaning. The second dentist also recommended some products and remedies to reduce the infection, none of which were suggested by the first dentist. I was offered antibiotics at a cost of £50. I went elsewhere for antibiotics and paid normal prescription fee. This slowed down my recovery as I felt like I wasn’t told straight in the first place. Use with caution!

I booked an emergency appointment. It's listed as a £20 fee that includes xray and 30 minute consultation.
I arrived there ontime. I was asked to fill in my details and take a seat.. they invited me in after around 7mins. - I was already out by 20past..so altogether my consultation was around 13mins. I did expect a lot more insight into my situation. The dentist was not helpful in advising me further,, seemed to be rushing any questions I had.. most of us who come to emergency appointments are vulnerable people, that are in pain, scared or confused. It would be nice if the dentist could be empathetic and helpful, and if they advertise a 30min appointment, then they should deliver that.

Fazakerley (Liverpool) Practice- Amazing service i attended late on a sunday night and treatment was completed the same day. No waiting weeks for an appointment or having to come back, i would highly recommend this clinic.

Very quick and effective service, ideal for someone who has a busy life and needs a quick pain free experience, would highly recommend.

This practice charged us for my Grandson to have a painful milk tooth removed there maximum charge for an extraction is £450 they charged us £450 for this. I complained but they didn’t care! How can they charge the max price for a child’s milk tooth shocking. Beware

Booked my mom an appointment here after her severe tooth pain was proving distressing.
Dr Adnan explained everything up front and offered options to treat the pain. Costs were walked through so we knew what to expect and the course of treatment required.
The clinic have been amazing and have really demonstrated care for mom through her constant questions and moments of panic whilst she awaits her procedure.
Zara has the patience of a saint and has really helped keep mom and me at ease throughout our visits.

I had my wisdom tooth removed here just before New Year’s Eve and although the staff were lovely I ended up going back after a chunk of tooth came out of the “hole” and had become infected. Since then I’ve had multiple chunks of tooth fall out of the hole including today which was a very large shard of tooth. This has meant the hole hasn’t been able to heal and is again bleeding. This is really distressing as it’s been happening whilst I’ve been in work, and it’s worrying they didn’t identify my tooth had shattered. Really upsetting when I’ve paid a lot to get it removed.

Fantastic service at Solihull, Zara and Dr were extremely polite, professional, and helpful, treatment was fully explained prior to commencement, would highly recommend especially as the hours they are open are brilliant, finding a dentist that operate on Saturdays is rare these days, as I work away during week so limited to weekends, absolutely perfect set up for me, wish you all great success in Solihull

Very disappointing experience.
Visited today for emergency tooth pain. I was asked to pay £40 upfront just to be seen, and then quoted £495 for pain relief. This felt like taking advantage of someone in severe pain.

For context, standard emergency pain relief for tooth or nerve pain in the UK is usually around £90–£150. Being quoted nearly £500 was shocking and unreasonable.

They may be genuine, but in my opinion this place is not worth visiting. Avoid unless money is no concern.

My daughter fell and broke her front tooth on Christmas Eve. Absolutely fantastic service from the new shop in Solihull. Zara made us feel welcome and the dentist Dr Pav was very professional and did a great job repairing the tooth on Christmas Day morning. Absolutely recommend this emergency Dentist.
