This is my second review for Dr Onur, and I still stand by my first.

Unfortunately, I developed severe keloid scarring on both sides of my neck after my initial procedure (Dec 24) and was invited back for a revision (Feb 26).

I appreciated this so much and initially there are positives my face does look more youthful, and the scars appear to be healing well. However, I’m currently only 7 weeks post-op, and last time issues didn’t arise until around 12 weeks, so I remain cautious.

As time has gone on, a key issue has become increasingly noticeable. A keloid on the left side appears to have been cut around rather than carefully treated. The lack of precision is clear, and it’s disappointing. I don’t understand why I was brought back for a free revision if the outcome wouldn’t be properly addressed, especially given the physical and emotional toll of going through surgery again.

I also feel that not enough excess skin is removed (based on dark spots still in the same place). On both occasions, I asked how much had been taken, and was told he couldn’t remember, which didn’t inspire confidence.

I’ve now had to contact a UK specialist to correct a crinkled lump in the corner of my earlobe, which has added further frustration.

After two years of research, I truly believed I had found the right surgeon and to be fair, Dr Onur is skilled. However, this experience suggests he needs to slow down and be far more meticulous, particularly with facial work where precision and scarring are critical.

When I raised my concerns on discharge , I was told, “don’t worry, it will sort itself out.” Based on my experience, that simply isn’t accurate.

I had considered further facial surgery with him, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable proceeding again. In my view, he may be better suited to body procedures rather than facelifts.

That said, he and his team are kind, responsive, and supportive, which I do appreciate. They also provided everything I might need should the keloids return, and I am genuinely grateful for that.

I felt it was important to leave this second review so that other women can make a fully informed decision when considering Dr Onur for a facelift.

I recently had a breast augmentation and uplift with Dr. Onur Ogan, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From start to finish, everything ran so smoothly and professionally. I can highly recommend Dr O, I had breast implant replacement with a lift in September 25.
The whole process was very easy, my coordinator took me to the hospital checks and translated where necessary.
I stayed in the Tema 242 hotel which was basic but clean and rooms were nicely decorated and perfectly fine for recovery.
The aftercare has been amazing. After 3m I was asked to send update photos and Dr O said that the implants were a bit too high and to return for them to be lowered. Although having to go through the procedure again o cannot fault Dr O, he was happy to correct and make them perfect and I’m now so happy with them.
For the second time, everything ran like clockwork.
My mum also had her upper bleph done and is very pleased with her results.
I’d recommend DrO to anyone considering surgery. Thanks again!

I had the most amazing experience I had lower facelift and my bottom eyelids. Dr Ogan is an amazing surgeon I am 3 1/2 months post opp and the results are fabulous so far. From start the finish I was really looked after by all hospitals staff and my surgeon Dr Ogan also we had the most wonderful Hayley whom is there with any questions I may have had. Dr is great, he didn’t blindside me with expectations but there was no follow up care and i couldn’t get ahold of anyone with questions about my concerns. I didn’t see any difference in my appearance unfortunately. The treatment was waste of money for me.

After months of research I booked in with Doctor Onur for a breast uplift with implants, and I am so glad that I did. I felt so nervous during the lead up to surgery, but Hayley was there to reassure me and answer any questions. The moment I met Doctor Onur my nerves dispersed. He has such a friendly, calm and relaxed aura. We spoke through any concerns I had and I felt that I was truly listened to.

I am so happy with how the surgery went and with my results. I felt really looked after during my hospital stay, the nurses were fantastic and nothing I asked for was too much hassle.

I came alone from Denmark for a Deepplane face and neck lift with co2 laser and stem cell injection.
From the first time I wrote with cordinator Haley I got lightning fast answers to ALL my many questions regardless of whether it was morning, evening or the weekend I wrote.
When I got a video consultation with Dr Ogan I immediately felt calm and that he was the one I wanted to leave my face to. I felt 200% safe.
From start to finish.

I am only 16 days PO but have healed quickly and beautifully already. And I am still closely followed by Dr Ogan and team.

Everything has been an absolutely fantastic experience and if I have to have anything done again, there is only one person who is allowed and that is Dr Ogan.

Die Operation verlief gut, die ersten 20–30 Minuten nach dem Aufwachen waren unangenehm, danach war der Schmerz gut kontrollierbar. Die Betreuung im Krankenhaus war sehr aufmerksam, der Arzt kam täglich zur Kontrolle. Bereits nach wenigen Tagen konnte ich wieder kurze Spaziergänge machen.

Das Ergebnis hat mich schon nach 5 Tagen positiv überrascht – die Narbe ist viel schöner als erwartet, trotz Schwellung und Blutergüssen. Die Nachsorge wurde ausführlich erklärt, alle Fragen wurden beantwortet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Team war jederzeit schnell und zuverlässig.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem gesamten Ablauf und dem Ergebnis und kann Dr. Onur Ogan und sein Team uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Choosing Dr. Onur Ogan was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I traveled internationally to Antalya, Turkey for extensive facial and body surgery, and from start to finish my experience exceeded every expectation. Dr. Ogan is not only an exceptionally skilled surgeon, but a true artist with an incredible eye for balance, harmony, and natural beauty.

My facial procedures included a deep plane facelift, neck lift, temporal lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat pad removal, rhinoplasty, facial fat transfer, buccal fat removal, chin lift with plasmaplasty and chin liposuction. The results are stunning yet subtle — my face looks refreshed, feminine, and completely like me. Friends tell me I look rested and confident, not “done,” which was exactly my goal.

In addition to my face, I also underwent breast lift with implants, tummy tuck with repair, Lipo 360, and BBL. My body now feels proportionate, natural, and beautifully contoured. Dr. Ogan truly understands how the face and body should work together to create overall harmony.

What truly sets Dr. Ogan apart is his honesty and integrity. He took time to explain every procedure, set realistic expectations, and never pressured me into anything. I always felt safe — both physically and emotionally — which is incredibly important when undergoing major surgery far from home.

As a mother and someone who wanted refinement rather than exaggeration, I was looking for confidence, balance, and a natural result — and Dr. Onur Ogan delivered beyond what I could have hoped for. I am deeply grateful and would trust him again without hesitation.

If you are considering facial or body surgery and want natural results, professionalism, and genuine care, I cannot recommend Dr. Onur Ogan highly enough.

In my early 60s I lost more than 40lbs, which left my face and neck really quite 'saggy'. The wake-up call for me was when I bumped into someone I'd known well but hadn't seen for twenty years, who didn't recognise me - even when I re-introduced myself.
As an ex-NHS Governor I'm deeply cynical and mistrustful when it comes to choosing clinical practitioners, compounded in this instance by the fact that it would involve travel to a different country.
If I'm honest, I don't think I'd have considered having surgery abroad if it weren't for the recent experiences I'd had in Turkey for extensive dental reconstruction. The clinical standards and expertise I'd seen there exceeded the UK's in my opinion, so I was confident that it would not be difficult to find a surgeon with the same or superior skills to the equivalent UK practitioner.
What this meant for me was setting out a 'shopping list' for a surgeon (because it's the surgeon that's crucial, not the clinic!) who had, as a minimum requirement, certification not just from TSPRAS, but also EBOPRAS membership (the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery). There's nothing necessarily wrong with a surgeon who just has TSPRAS membership, but the European qualification and membership requires study and exams being taken in Europe, and only the better surgeons tend to do this extra step.
The next, obvious, requirement was experience - I would only consider a surgeon that had a minimum of ten years' experience exclusively in plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery (rather than a doctor with ten years experience who may have only moved recently into plastic surgery), and he/she must have done a large number of the type of operations I was considering having done. Also, oddly, I didn't want a surgeon who had been in practice for much more than 25 years because there are newer techniques (e.g. deep plane) these days that older surgeons may not have been specifically trained for - or they have just done a few days training and you're the first patient!
The next step is to trawl through reviews - not just Trustpilot but all the other revew sites as well as facebook. Read the good AND bad that might indicate an issue with the surgeon, clinic, or post-op follow-up (e.g. did the surgeon follow up with consultations, monitor healing, scars, stitch removal etc.)
The final consideration was 'did I like them?', which meant a face to face meeting to assess whether this person was someone I could trust with my face that wouldn't make me look like Barry Manilow.
Using these criteria I got down to a shortlist of three surgeons, which included Dr Onur Ogan. All had outstanding qualifications, plenty of experience, and I think any of them would have done a great job.
But the difference came when I actually spoke with them. Two were video calls, and they were impressive, but I was lucky enough to meet Dr Onur when I was in Antalya finishing my dental work - and within five minutes I'd decided to go with him. Partly this was because he'd been particularly recommended by another colleague at the dental clinic, but mostly because he immediately understood what I was looking for, he sympathetically examined me while making constructive suggestions regarding treatment, and didn't try to oversell any surgery - in fact the opposite was true; he advised against at least one procedure that I'd thought would be needed, while suggesting another more minor one that would have a better effect.
The price seemed very fair, but of course once I'd committed I had to go on the waiting list, which was around four months. Once I'd paid a deposit, booked flights and hotel (the clinic can offer a package, but I arranged these myself), all I had to do was wait.
This has been an extremely long review already, and I could spend the same amount of time setting out what I had done, what happened during surgery, what the recovery was like, and what I look like now. But I think the MOST important thing is to CHOOSE THE RIGHT SURGEON, so I've focused entirely on that. It's really the ONLY consideration.
Briefly though: the hospital was like a mid-range UK private hospital but with happy motivated staff, I was in theatre for nine and a half hours, the first two days weren't much fun but weren't too painful, it took a month for the main swelling and bruising to go down, and six weeks before I could get away without people saying 'what's happened to your face?'. Now I just look how I looked twenty years ago - it's really quite amazing and there's no 'stretched' look or cats eyes, the result is truly remarkable and I don't look anything like Barry Manilow! The follow-up has been great; I left Turkey ten days after the op, and I'm now nearly seven weeks post-op (oops hit the 4000 charac limit! Summary: he's an amazing surgeon).

I had a Mummy Makeover on 15th November. I travelled alone so was very anxious. From the moment I contacted the team I had made my mind up this is ware I was going to….on the lead up if I had any questions Hayley was on hand to answer them I can’t fault anything DR Onur is lovely and only wants best for you Iam 6 weeks post op my scaring is hardly noticeable and very neat the hospital is clean and nursing staff are lovely and looked after you , if I was considering anything more to get I would come back to Dr Onur I am very pleased with what I have had done so far his work is unreal
