Disgusting

Disgusting, and I will take legal action again this company.
Bought a pair of shoe, was too small, returned, those shoes traveled to Italy and back a month later, with no paperwork whatsoever.
Have sent a number of emails and spent a number of hours on the phone with CS teams, unbelievably incompetent and showed little care.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Good luck getting refunded....

I had the same experience of having to chase for months and months to get a refund. The only way I managed was to comment on every single Instagram post as email and phone got me nowhere. I can see many others have had to resort to this. I've never had worse customer service. Not acceptable anywhere, not least at this price point.

Leaving one star is the only option it should be less. Having made a return a month ago i have been told several times that they have the return in their warehouse and a refund was imminent a month on they report that they are still needing to give Italian customs further info...terrible inconsistencies throughout my multiple daily/weekly enquiries. Only able to speak to peiple working remotely from home. Fruitless!

BUYER BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Have waited over three weeks for a £1k refund with no end in sight, despite repeated emails and phone calls. Customer service is abysmal - emails not responded to and call centre staff unresponsive and unhelpful. I bitterly regret not reading the other terrible reviews online before purchasing. The way such a high end retailer is treating its customers is disgraceful and the sooner people stop using this horrendous company the better!!! P.S I see their default response to other poor reviews is to email their customer service team which is a complete joke as they never bother to respond!!!!

Just received my second order of a…

Just received my second order of a falsely advertised item. The previous order contained 3 items, all wrong or falsely advertised (earrings with butterfly clasp that arrive as clip ons, high rise designer jeans that are actually hip huggers, 24k plated gold necklace that said no such thing and arrived in a plastic bag that says made in china) and most recently a pair of trainers that were supposedly 100% bovine leather but the box arrived labeled as vegan leather, size was supposed to be 7.5US but it’s a 6US per the conversion. All wrong, total waste of time and shipping isn’t refunded. Customer service seems reasonable but it’s not worth my time anymore,

Woah

Woah, if I’d seen these reviews before buying I wouldn’t have. I’m having difficulty with customer service too, it’s been a very frustrating 24 hours of back and forth but no real resolution, which is a shame, Outnet used to be a great brand. We’ll see if my parcel arrives but I’m not hopeful.

I returned back an item and still after 1 month I have not received my money back. Before I sent it back I was in contact with their customer service who confirmed that there would be a refund on my order. During this month I have reached out several times asking about the status of my refund. They are only apologizing for the delay. Very disappointed at how this have been handled and I will in the future so my shopping elsewhere. I have completely lost my trust for this marketplace

The worst of the worst - if only i could give them -ve stars

The customer service is utterly appalling, I repeatedly and constantly complain about these dreadful people. They just don't care - in one instance the woman said " it doesn't matter". Now I have received three boxes of clothes with no paper - is this a stalling issue so they don't have to refund. They are the worst company with the worst customer service and NOTHING changes

Refunded no problem

I felt I had to leave this even though I didn't keep the clothes! They didn't fit me nice, I need to go on a diet ;)
I ordered £750 worth of dresses for a wedding thinking I would send back what wasn't right.
After I decided nothing fit me per se, I started the returns process. It gave me a panic when I saw the returns would go to Italy - and the returns forms don't show the VAT you have paid on the value worth - this was disconcerting.
Then I looked on here and there were a LOT of bad reviews regarding refunds so I was quite panicked.
I emailed The Outnet and they emailed back and assured me the return would be in full - it took about 10 days but I got a refund no problem. Also the clothes were great quality they just were not the right ones for me. (I wish to god the Alexa Chung dress fit, but nada). Anyway nothing wrong with my experience and felt it worth a note. One star off for confusing paper work return.

The return policy looks like a ponzi scheme

Fraud and scam, the return process eerily resembles a ponzi scheme: the company is happy to accept incoming payments. However, claims of refund can take months to process. Has anyone looked into their finances?

Returned my parcel 6th April. By the 22nd May still no news from The Outnet. An endlessly long story cut short: stay away from this company! The items they sell are not worth the hassle of having to deal with their Customer Services. They lie about having/having not received parcels in return, parcels being held up in customs, and shipping/returns department not having the capacity to "work faster".
I have bought items online since 1998, when modems where new. This is by far the worst shopping experience that I have experienced in the last almost 25 years of online shopping, from beginning to end. In addition to all of this: expect CS-reps to simply hang up on you when they just can´t be bothered to listen to you "complain" anymore and denying having done so. Supervisors as well. They also lie about having investigated the whereabouts of the returns, etc. Cheaters. The most unprofessional garbage I´ve ever experienced. Really.

Do Not Use - No refund a few weeks after items are returned

After around 8 years of being a loyal ("VIP", according to the Outnet itself) customer, I have no other choice but to leave an objective review following some plain unacceptable experience.

A few weeks following the returning of items, I am still to be refunded. When emailed for more information, at first a response comes back that "no information is available", then silence and subsequent emails remained un-answered.

The Customer service is useless in the actual meaning of the word - when contacted by Chat (as no-one answers the phone), they had NO IDEA where the returned items are.

Speaking as a PREVIOUSLY loyal customer, I feel that the Outnet are in the self-destructive mode.

If you value your money, your time AND your nerves, please go elsewhere. I will be from now on - I've uninstalled their app on my phone.

Don’t EVER make a purchase at this website. The worst customer service I have ever received. My product NEVER arrived. And they have been giving me the same reply when I ask for my refund for days and days: “we are looking into it”. Totally OUTRAGEOUS and disrespectful

THE WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE EVER!!
Sent my shoes back on 6th April. Have been waiting and waiting. Phone calls and emails were a complete waste of time. Apparently stuck in customs waiting for the correct information from OUTNET.
Customs information received from Outnet and parcel sent out for delivery. I’ve just had an update from UPS saying
OUTNET REFUSED delivery!!!!! 🤬😤🤯😡 as they didn’t have an invoice for them. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
I will be reporting them to trading standards and speaking to my bank. This is fraud and theft!!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!

Awaiting refund for two months!!!!

Disgusted with The Outnet.com. After years of loyal custom and regular purchases, the company are completely ignoring me now that there is a problem. I returned an item on 26th February which cost almost £500. It hasn’t been lost, tracking shows they have it. They just haven’t bothered to return my refund. I have had to refer the matter to PayPal to sort out but the Outnet are also ignoring PayPal. Absolutely disgusting customer service. It’s now 20th April and still no refund!

If I could rate less than one I would. I reviewed them 6 weeks ago in the same way for the same reason. I've been a customer 15yrs & its all gone wrong this year & its not Brexit - it seems tpo bewhen UPS have got involved. Truly last year was all fine. I am waiting for a return refund that was shipped 24th Feb....nothing. Nada. Zero. The calls you make are received & pleasant 'help' is given but nothing happens. No escalation allowed. Check their Twitter replies for everyone saying the same thing. I cant buy & trust them any longer. I was owed £1000 a month ago & had to wait 6 weeks for that & ordered this before knowing the issues. So £180 still owed. From an order placed 8th Feb 0502ZNUYG2201H. They MUST be going bust. Madness. DO NOT USE

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY - Absolutely appalling customer service

Absolutely appalling customer service. Returned a parcel in January which was then redelivered to me instead of back to the Outnet. Contacted customer service and they issued a shipping label for an alternative carrier. Followed up after 4 weeks when I hadn't heard anything about my refund - told that it was on its way and to wait. Followed up again after another 4 weeks and was told the return had arrived, my refund would be processed and I would receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, none of which happened. Then followed up again today (5 days later) to be told that the parcel is actually stuck in customs and due to internal error at the Outnet, the team who need to release it, hadn't been notified despite me ringing theee times previously to notify them of a problem. Customer service offered no practical solutions to resolve even after 1hr on the phone with them, only told that it was 'not policy' to refund before the package had arrived back to them even though the reason for the delay was their error. Asked to make a complaint and was told that I shouldn't expect a response if making the complaint via customer service over the phone and to email instead. After being a loyal customer for many years I will never spend any money with this company again and would advise everyone else to avoid them too.

Strengths and weakness experienced (3+++: 1-)

I made 4 smooth purchases, 1 return without problems and 1 wrong system order since January 2022. For now, I received all my items as well as the refund. With one order, (not correctly paired with my account) I had issues (no order confirmation /e-mail/, no order number provided, no helpful response just promises to find out and contact me). But finally the item arrived so I was happy.

I recommend to use Paypal, they can help you to get the money back in the case of not delivered item, mitigating the risk of losing money.

So, I stay with OUTNET.com.... and hope the customer service will improve.
