Incredibly Professional – The Plan Was Superb.

Oxbridge Content recently supported me with a business plan for my upcoming online organic supplement store, and the result was exceptional. The plan itself was stunning — beautifully presented, well thought out, and tailored exactly to my goals.

The financials were very detailed and clearly put together with care.

Communication is very important to me & was smooth throughout, they were responsive to any questions and edits I had tailoring the plan along the way. I’d highly recommend them to anyone starting out in e-commerce or the wellness space.

⭐ 1 Star – Total Waste of Money. Learn From My Mistake.

I strongly advise anyone considering this service to stay far away. I paid £1,500 expecting a tailored, professional business plan—and what I received was a direct copy of the original plan I had already created. It was literally copied and pasted, including incorrect financial forecasts I had clearly stated were wrong. They even asked for that old plan, which should’ve been a red flag in itself.

Stephen asked me to “put everything in a folder so nothing would be missed”—which, in hindsight, was just to make it easier to pass everything straight to a third-party freelancer (likely on Fiverr or something similar). This wasn’t about a smooth process—it was about outsourcing the job with as little effort as possible. And the result was exactly that: a lazy, careless copy of my own work.

Stephen claims to have a “team,” but based on my experience, he’s simply acting as a middleman. The plan was full of errors and made it painfully clear that no one had taken the time to understand my business.

My conversations with Stephen proved he had no knowledge of my business whatsoever—which is extremely concerning when he’s supposed to be responsible for developing a meaningful, strategic plan. How can you write a business plan for something you clearly don’t understand?

The final document even claimed I needed funding to build a website—despite the fact my website has been live for over six months. It also included products I had explicitly said should not be in the plan. It felt rushed, careless, and totally disconnected from the instructions I gave.

When I raised my concerns, Stephen refused to take responsibility or offer a refund. I’m now £1,500 down with a business plan I can’t use, and it feels like I’ve been completely scammed.

Please, don’t waste your money. Learn from my experience. This was the worst investment I’ve made in my business, and I hope my review saves someone else from going through the same.

Updated note: I left the above review on 06 October 2021. I am an accountant and occasionally receive unsolicited approaches to resell other business services. On this occasion the approach from oxbridgecontent.com was so unconvincing that I left negative feedback on Trustpilot. I have just been asked in May 2025 to provide a copy of the original spam, but naturally I have not kept it this long and am therefore not now able to provide this.

Unprofessional, and a considerably basic service 

My personal experience with Oxbridge content was unprofessional and very disappointing.

Prior to purchasing their start up business plan, I contacted the company in relation to creating a bespoke business plan tailored to my business that would be compliance with the FCA regulations. I was told they could and have plenty of experience in that field.

I was then asked to fill in a questionnaire form about my business.

Once I received my business plan back it was not what I was expecting. most of the wording and research I filled in on the questionnaire form was my own and very little introjected was done on their part. They put together a plan that was disappointing and mediocre.

The Plan was poor quality and lacking information, once I questioned him about the services, he claimed that I did not ask for the business plan to comply with the FCA however, I beg to differ as the main purpose of me seeking their services was that the business plan would comply with FCA. I am now left with a useless business plan not fit for purpose.

If you do choose this service, please record your conversation, and have everything back up on an email just to protect yourself.

Also ask what knowledge and experience the business plan writer has in your field of business and make sure this is back up in an email instead of making the mistake I did and having telephone conversation.

As for people leaving reviews, I would not trust them to be legit. i notice their surname crops up a lot from different member of the family.
