Do not I repeat do not listen or even give this company your money or your time they convince me to keep my car instead of trading it again when I could’ve traded it in and got a new car once my car had a repair issue they gave me every reason in the world while they could not fix it And sent me through hoops going back to the dealer getting purchase orders and all types of paperwork only for them to deny me twice. I’ve been without my car for weeks I repeat weeks!!!! Only to get a denial after waiting over four weeks for them to decide decide on what they were gonna do not only am I stuck without a car but now I have to pay The diagnostic fee and also find a way to either tow the car to another shop or possibly take a loss on the car and trade it in to get a new one thanks Ox you really made my life a living hell

Ox Car Care 99% Horrible Reviews on all sites

Ox Car Care is a scam. The ads are total lies. They don't answer the phone but put you into voicemail and say they will call back, which they never do. Their reviews, even on BBB are 99% horrible. How can the Better Business Bureau have 99% complaints and yet Ox advertises an A+ BBB rating. Its a lie. All car warranty programs take calls and issue claim numbers to the dealer. Not Ox. The Chevy dealer told me Ox requires written estimates and tell the dealer it will take 7 days to come up with an approval. Mine was in for 60 days and still no answer. Ox asked me for all my oil change receipts. I set them and still no reply after another 30 days. They figure if they delay you will pay the repair bill and leave them alone. If you send any money to Ox, its gone forever and you will get no help.

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT get OX CAR CARE. This the most horrible service I have ever seen. My car been in the shop literally for 92 days because Ox was trying every reason not to pay to get my care fixed! When filling a claim you don’t talk to a representative to assure your claim. Every thing is done through email. And the representative are SOOO rude and childish! I was trying to make a complaint on one of the representatives and I was consistently being laughed at and GIVEN FALSE names so I was unable to report. And consistently being hung up on! I’ve never seen anything in life done like this before. So then moving forward.after a little going back and forth with the ride reps I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told they don’t speak on the phone I was instructed to email. Which I did and absolutely no response at all! And as of today about 3weeks ago! No moving forward and all the rudeness and disrespect I had to put up with my car is now fixed and I’m out of $2,635.71. The engine ox car care found. But I had to pay to have the engine shipped to the dealer. (Yes that’s freight) I had to pay for my own coolant, and also I had to pay for labor being that Ox car care only pay $150 for labor a day and the shop charged 189 a day. And there’s absolutely nowhere in my contract says that the amount that’s $150 is the cut off. I was told it just is! And the shop is just trying to make money from fixing my car and they are not gonna allow it. So the shop is just supposed to fix it for free and not make money? So yes it is absolutely false advertising. It weil you in with the free oil change and tire rotation but trust me it is not worth the hassle money you have to put out and headache! Ohhhh and let me not forget I still had to pay my $100 deductible and as my car was in the shop I still had to pay my payment every month. If I refuse to pay Ox car care refuse to fix my car. My car is just now being fixed as of July 5 2024.

If you see this commercial or hear it on the tv or anything RUN RUN RUN! DO NOT DO IT

Scam beware!

Called to check it out. Well they got my cc card and I was going to sign up. Then decided not to.. well a moth rolls by or so and guess what they started charging my card 200 bucks here and there. I called and told them I didn't want it in the first place and they said I can't cancel it. I files a charge back and now again a moth later they are charging me again. This place is a scam. I'm 65 years old and not all there all the time. I have no legs to even drive a car. This is crazy

Overall

Overall, follow your instincts! It's hard for you or your mechanic to reach them. The mechanic has to email the issues with your car to Ox and then your claim falls in line as they will then email the mechanic back. What happened to calling in a claim?! My car was in the shop for 10 days before they said they needed to send out an inspector. At this time I was already out $800 in rentals. The reimbursement is only $30/day for up to 6 days!!! I was never reimbursed . Now 26 days in my claim is denied but I have the full platinum package for cam shaft and rockers. Terrible and draining experience. Never again!

Worse warranty company

Worse warranty company. Vehicle went in shop on June 24th. Claim didn’t get approved until July 11th and they didn’t even pay for full repairs. I had to come outa pocket $400 for my radiator. Only does claim via emails. Vehicle been in the shop so far week and half and I’ve been without a car and still have no update on approval claim which is for crack radiator and ball joints. They don’t communicate with the customer or shop. Every time I call they tell me it’s in review. STAY AWAY from them

If I could give this company a big fat…

If I could give this company a big fat zero I would!
1-I had the dealership to file a claim for a control arm repair on my car. I waited for weeks for a response and when I did receive one or the dealership, I called I was finally told that I had been denied, I was shocked!
2-I had my oil changed and emailed the receipt for reimbursement. When I called after 5 business days I was told that the email was not received, and I needed to resend it.
3-In the email sent with the oil change I sent a receipt showing that I paid for the control arms that they denied.
4-After speaking with an unprofessional rep in claims I was advised that there was no email received on 06/12/2024 that I sent and to resend it. I was also advised that I was in breach of my contract for sending the emails for my car's oil change/control arm repair. Also, that the contract was breached for the auto shop contacting them regarding the control arm repair. I asked well how I am supposed to file a claim if I can't email, and the auto shop can't email. I was told had I read the book that I was emailed I would have known this. I was very frustrated and advised that if I'm illiterate how can I read/understand the legal jargon? I requested to speak with a supervisor and was just hung up on several times. I wanted to know how I could have breached a contract by sending an email that they say they never received? I was hung up on SIX times because my questions were too difficult for them to answer. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was told by the rep that they were the highest I could go. WOW this rep/owner runs a shady business. After several calls I finally got a supervisor Clariece, I asked her that why my claim denied for the control arm but while on hold to speak with her a customer testimonial by Cathy stated that "Ox paid for her control arm repair?!?!" Wow I asked was it because Cathy was white, and I was black? Clariece listened for the most part and agreed with me but said that there was nothing she could do to further assist me. I requested to have my contract cancelled and she stated that if I did, I would NOT be issued a refund for my oil change and not given an appeal option (it would continually be denied) for the denied claim regarding my control arm repair. I requested a number for corporate and of course no-one had one! BEWARE, BEWARE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Run with your money in your hand.

Liars and cheaters

1st - oil changes NOT FREE. You must REQUEST reimbursement or the service provider can submit a ticket for OX to pay them directly...if OX approves it (you'll see why I said it like that shortly) then you have to wait.
2nd - I had just dropped my granddaughter off at her home...car would start but not move. Called for Roadside assistance. That team says "you don't have this with your policy" I call back to OX customer service, they call OX Roadside give them info ok...we place the Roadside assistance call...they say 45-90 min for the driver. 60 min in I call for follow-up the actual towing company says...they told OX 3 hours! Good thing I had AAA and my granddaughter was home safe.
3-turns out the alternator died and a cable from the alternator to somewhere burned out and killed the battery. The service provider (have been using them for years) goes back and forth with OX...there's always an issue with the claim. Not received, incorrect, wrong part, wrong part name...I pay for the service out of my pocket because now it's 12 days in. 30 days later they finally say we can't accept the claim because I've put on miles since the start of the claim. So 30+ days for oil change and repair to be denied and pay out of pocket. No one I know can wait 30 days for a 3 hour(conservative) repair. Then they say we'll refund your money....as of 6/18 still waiting for refund AND they've had the nerve to call several times to get me to come back. The LAST conversation in April the salesman said "they're processing your refund now"

This company has very shady and…

This company has very shady and unbelievably unprofessional ways of conducting their business with customers. They are absolute cheats and criminals, do not under any reason do any business with them.They lied and cheated me out of almost $400.00 and when I called them the last time they had the nerve to ask me if I still wanted to keep their services. Unbelievable.I decided to try the car repair insurance company Ox Car care to supplement my repair costs for my vehicle and the rep who helped me assured me I would receive the policy info package in mail, it would give me 30 days to review it and if I want it to discontinue I could simply call within the 30 and get my money back. I explained that not only didn’t know how to work computer, but also didn’t have one to use so he assured me he would make sure I got my paperwork to review in plenty of time. Lies, I never got anything and I called many times letting them know how upset I was as that they didn’t follow through properly for me. So I called and cancelled. The rep did not give me a cancellation number and said that it was already cancelled per my request and that I would receive email and cancellation info in mail. Now, I have checked my bank statement and they had the nerve to charge me another payment and didn’t refunded me the first payment I made. Called them immediately and was confronted with some extremely rude and offensive customer service reps, including the manager that refused to refund anything and told me that I did not call customer service because the account was still active. These bn people are not at all accountable for the bad practices of their employees and the cheating that goes on. I was simply livid and very angry at not only how I was treated but how they cheated me of almost $ 400.00 dollars, in such a criminal and shameless fashion. They tell you lies and then continue the stealing by letting their employees not be accountable for not doing the right thing and cancelling the accounts if the customer wants it that way. I called witching the 30 days to ensure not only that there would be no further money withdrawn but that I would also receive the first $200.00 they got. What a bunch of thief's really! How can these companies get away with these crooked practices? Well I’m writing this review this way other customers will be perfectly aware what a bunch of crooks they really are…I’m also filing a complaint with the BBB to ensure they get investigated. Do not do any business with these criminals, that is exactly what they are.BEWARE!!!

"0" STARS

Let's start by saying a "0" star would be more accurate if it wasn't for the representative Hector Ex.2550. I joined Sept 2023, tried using the company May 31, 2024, for a deceleration when driving. The car repair shop was informed by the Ox Car Care representative in claims to fix the oil pump first then see about the car working correctly after that. He never worked with OCC before so he told what they said and did just that. He issued the invoice and the wouldn't pay for the part he needed so I paid that and my deductible. I finally got my car back after 3 weeks of sitting and no rental because no 8 hours worth of work had been performed 🤔 so I wasn't covered for a rental at that point. I drove no more than 20 minutes on the expressway and the car broke down. I was told to put in a new claim because it was the transmission not the oil pump. Duh!!! That's what the mechanics had stated in the beginning. I told them this and the stated since those transmission codes weren't on the invoice that the first claim didn't matter???. After the claims representative continued to be rude and cut me off. I was upset and am canceling the policies for both of my cars. I will be seeking a lawyer because this was absolutely hideous service and they totally lied to me.

Unfortunately

Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews first. For starters I was told with a military discount which would make my monthly payments $119 but when my first pay came out it was $132.56 which I didn't want in the beginning so I threaten to cancel and was told since I made a first payment I can drop the payment to $87 but a longer term, but after reading all these bad reviews I think I'll cut my losses' before they get a penny more.

“Dont buy

“Dont buy. It will end up costing you more money in storage fees. Alternator issue is covered and it has been sitting in pending approval for 2 weeks. They say 3-5 business days for claims and mine has been going on 2 weeks. It has cost me $25 a day in storage fee. Claim department plays the waiting game and will just let you wait with no update at all. Customer service cant help either so you are stuck with pending approval for a long long time. Sales department should hate this claim department is they are costing sales new customers. Stay away from this company.

Ox lied. They were to pay for oil change. They paid once. Then started with 60 dollars only.
When I need a tow NO ONE answered the call.

False statements and trust. bad company to deal with. Stay away.

I called to inquiry about getting a service contract with OX car care. had read the reports of bad service so I asked them about the inquiries. caller wanted to call my dealership and ask do they handle OX service calls. He put us on a conference call with what should have been my dealership's service department. A guy named Michael stated he worked in the service department and had the record of my arcadia pulled up on the computer and that they do work with Randy Wise. So I asked him since you have looked up my first car what is the other car I own that you service under my name, he could not find it. After call ended called Randy Wise and asked does a guy named Michael now work in the service department and the answer was no. Well, with that experience the trust level is completely gone with this company. Glad I did not get a contract with them.

Completely shady company

Completely shady company. They ignore claims to pay for the oil changes they cover, but even worse is when you have an actual warranty for work on your car. They ignore the request, they lie and say they haven't received information, they take way longer than their SLA to get work approved and you will be left paying and not covered. Worst auto warranty company on the market, stay away
