I have used "Oxon Energy" to install a heat pump to provide both heating and cooling in our 3 bedroom house. I have had nothing but first class service from all members of staff that I have dealt with. The installation work was performed by the 2 Toms (Tom 1 & Tom 2) they were a pleasure to have around the house, even working until after night fall, on the roof, in the rain, to finish the job. The job was completed, on time and to the quoted price.

Oxon energy came to our rescue last week when we had problems with our heating system that had NOT been installed by them. They re-acted quickly and Tom visited us to establish the problem. He was clearly very knowledgable and gave confidence that he would be able to help us. He went above and beyond to understand our system and got us up and running again. I have no hesitation in recommending Oxon Energy especially Tom and will be using their services again in the future.

Oxon Energy recently installed an air source heat pump for us, converted our old one-pipe system to a modern two-pipe setup, and replaced several radiators. The planning and design were well thought through, and the management oversight was competent throughout the project.
The fitters themselves were excellent – professional, tidy, and clearly skilled at what they do. Hot water is working well, and although we haven’t yet had a winter to see how the heating performs, the installation itself has been completed to a high standard.
Overall, we’re really pleased and would happily recommend Oxon Energy.

I have been incredibly impressed at my experience with Oxon Energy and our Air Source Heat Pump installation. Right from the survey at the beginning until the installation and final commissioning and post-commissioning support (including swift reimbursement of the BUS grant), Oxon Energy was always ready to answer my numerous questions and provide support. The installation team did a great job, respected my property and explained everything to me about the installation afterwards. I would have no hesitation in recommending Oxon Energy Ltd to others considering getting a heat pump.

We contacted Oxon Energy to discuss the feasibility of replacing our LPG boiler with an ASHP bearing in mind that part of our cottage is over 200 years old. We had a series of good discussions with Joe & Rob (and, later, with Samantha) which led to them carrying out a no-obligation full survey of the house and, subsequently, a very detailed quotation. This quotation was revised a number of times over the following 3-4 months as our understanding of ASHP's grew including visiting their site in Bix Bottom to see (and hear) ASHP's in action and after discussions with other suppliers. These discussions included the option of upgrading our radiators which we decided to defer considering until after our first winter.

So, after taking up references, we decided to go with Oxon Energy and the installation was carried out by Harry & Reece over 6 days including a very long day installing the new hot cylinder so that we were ensure hot water at the end of the day. The installation was completed with no fuss, in good humour and our house was always left as tidy as possible at the end of each day.

The team at Oxon Energy provided excellent service throughout the whole process and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

For the first time in over year, we have a warm house thanks to the Heat Pump recently installed by Joe, and the team! We live in an older property, but the specification and installation was great and now we have heat and hot water. The team worked so hard during the installation process, and managed to fit it into the the time window that we had available

Oxon Energy installed an air source heat pump system for me in January 2025. From the outset and throughout the process they were responsive and efficient. Everyone I encountered was helpful and pleasant. The work was done with the minimum of disruption. I was given a good handover and explanation of the system, with a visit a week or so later to clarify some minor queries. Two months later I am very pleased with the system and would recommend them whole-heartedly.

Oxon Energy installed an Air-Source Heat Pump for us. This also involved the installation of a new hot water cylinder, a couple of replacement radiators, decommissioning the gas boiler etc. The whole team performed well, the care and attention to detail on site was excellent, some routine follow-up promptly and effectively managed. Very helpful, friendly knowledgeable staff

Oxon Energy had the opportunity to retrofit Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery in this 1961 constructed house. Now the property is fully insulated it is essential that the house is ventilated. The flexible ducting and the Air Smart MVHR system work a treat. It is quiet and effective, the house being warm, the air fresh and clean. It is the way forward for all homes.

What could we do better?: Understanding the nature of the work, cooperation between home owners, builders and installers is vital. Overall it went smoothly but it wasn’t without its moments. The end result and the continued aftercare is great.

We only proceeded as far as sales discussion with Samantha and Rob regarding an Air Source Heat Pump and a new wet system for radiators or underfloor heating. They were patient, helpful, courteous, responsive and knowledgeable. Ultimately Oxon Energy were not the installer we chose to proceed with. They were among the best reviewed, as well as TrustMark and Which? Trusted Trader, and were in the middle of the pack in terms of price. From our desk-exercise alone, we can say going with Oxon Energy would be a wise choice. We cannot vouch for their actual installation and after-sales care, but the many positive reviews here and on Google Maps cover that!

Awful. We had Joe Pollock the MD of the company over after they contacted us through our planning application. We were not impressed with Joe in the meeting and wouldn't have moved forward. He then sent our architect a quote for the proposal and sent some rough calculations. We then received a £500+ invoice without us giving the go ahead or authorisation from us or our architect.

He has now been harassing us with emails and is damm right rude. I would never recommend or use this company. We are about to instruct a solicitor.

I contacted 4 companies regarding the replacement/ upgrade of my ASHP.
In the end it was an easy decision. Oxon Energy were on it from day one. Information was timely, they were extremely professional and their quotation was in the right ball park.
I have a sense I will be looked after going forward.

Great technical knowledge, efficient, helpful and a very pleasant team to work eith

Joe was recommended to me by a friend, and I've been impressed by the obvious expertise that he and Tom have in the field of renewable energy.
My project was to replace an oil boiler with an ASHP, coupled with underfloor heating to the ground floor. Joe worked through a couple of designs to ensure that the solution would work for my house which had a mixture of older and more modern build.
I've been equally impressed with every member of the team that I've met or spoken to throughout the works, they are all focused on doing the best job, and have also been great in providing aftercare support with a subsequent problem.
So a big thanks (from my warm house!) to Joe, Tom, Tania, Anna, Harry, Reece and Tom. Would definitely recommend.

I was very pleased to find Oxon Energy – a local company with a very high level of competence, professionalism and friendliness.
They helped us through the specification phase and answered our many questions with understanding, technical expertise and humour. The installation is now complete - ASHP, underfloor heating on the ground floor and new rads on the first floor.

The whole team is very communicative and knowledgeable, and the job is tidy, neat and efficient. They interfaced well with our other building contractors, and they continue to support us as we learn and adapt to the new system.

After the first full year of running we’re extremely pleased with the Air source heat pump system Oxon designed and installed. It’s beaten its designed performance levels, and actually by our reckoning has achieved twice the CO2 emissions savings that we’d modelled.

Installation
We engaged Oxon Energy as they were I believe, taking on business from another company, Oxford Renewables. Our requirement was for an Air source heat pump to be installed into a 1930s property which was being renovated and extended. The gentleman with whom we first dealt with was totally up front about the change over to Oxon Energy, he did a fantastic job explaining the needs, rules grant scheme, time line, procedure etc. in acquiring a
ASHP. Oxon Energy staff were helpful and prompt in the service provided generally working well with the builders on site, answering any questions we had about the location and practicalities of the installation. The actual workings and plumbing of the water tank and workings is a thing of beauty.
I cannot recommend this company highly enough if one is wanting to install a heat pump.
