Very impressed with the professional service from all the P4 Solar staff who I have communicated with - e.g. prompt and detailed responses from Fred to all my questions pre-install, the installation team were a pleasure to deal with and Justin was very helpful when we needed assistance with the app. So overall a very positive experience - we are pleased with the PV generation so far and have already recommended P4 Solar to friends.

We decided to go with P4 partly because they were local. The initial installation went well and everything seemed fine with the remarkable Sigenergy equipment and its app. Two complications were that we had three phase electricity supply and existing solar panels on a Feed In Tariff (FIT). Our energy supplier was and still is Utility Warehouse. Their FIT department seemed unaware of Sigenergy and its highly detailed app. There followed dozens of tedious emails between us and UW, all cc’d to the helpfully patient people at P4. It soon became clear that our consumption merited an extra 10 kWh battery which was fitted promptly and efficiently. This enabled cheap rate electricity to power entire winter days with little or no solar. A final complication was UW’s insistence on an extra solar meter to be fitted. This complicated device was obligingly fitted by P4 at no extra cost to us. Altogether excellent and personal service from real people at P4, in stark contrast to UW where we had to deal with AI constructed emails, from seemingly imaginary people unobtainable by phone.

Having had a trouble free solar system for almost three years I experienced a communications breakdown with my inverter. I could not get online and the problem appeared to have been caused by my internet provider upgrading my hub. A new hub was not recognised by the inverter dongle so a more modern one was required. My original installer wanted a large amount of money upfront before they would send someone to fit a new dongle. I turned to Google and found P4 Solar and spoke to Peter who promptly arranged for Justin to deal with the problem. The quote for the job was a sensible amount and was carried out as soon as a replacement dongle was obtained. Justin replaced the part and went to great lengths to explain how I can get the best out of my solar system. I have now transferred my account/station to P4`s portal. P4 are a family business and it shows in the warm and friendly way they operate.

The entire process, from initial quotation and communication to final installation, was executed with exceptional professionalism and proficiency.

No pressure sales process. Install was quick and efficient. I had a couple of post-install niggles which were rapidly addressed - and I really can't fault the experience at all. PV generation has been great so far and it's only March. Will easily pay for itself. Highly recommended.

Excellent work and follow up

The team at P4 have been great, patiently taking me through a huge array of questions and options until we arrived at my ideal solution. Install featured a couple of unexpected hitches but the team on the ground were courteous and efficient, and communication throughout was excellent. Crucially, the system seems to work better than expected. Really recommended.

Jackson and Dylan did a first class job and kept us informed at every stage asking how and where we wanted items fitted. Very polite young men.

Had my solar panels and battery installed last week. The whole process was great from start to finish. I received a quick response to my initial request for a quote and all my questions were also answered promptly. The fitting team were excellent and installation was done quickly and to a very high standard. The aftercare has also been good and I have recieved all my certificates promptly and been given lots of information in my aftercare pack. The system itself has been excellent and I have had no problems at all since install. Would highly recommend.

The whole experience was excellent. Easy to deal with on the phone, knowledgeable about the product and explained the process. Kept me updated and the job was completed within a day. Great aftersales service to ensure I was happy. Price was also competitive, happy to recommend P4 Solar.

Great that P4 still provide backup a year after fitting our panels. We were struggling with the app that controls the inverter, but were able to speak to a real person on the end of the phone line. He sorted our problem and took time to explain things clearly. Many thanks.

Deciding to install a large solar panel and battery system is a big decision and large financial outlay. We obtained three quotes but decided to use P4 solar for their straightforward, honest and thorough approach. They also came highly recommended from a friend and we would have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone.
From initial scoping of the project to the final quote they were communicative and reassuring. On the day of installation I was sure the cold weather would delay the installation (5th Jan) however the team arrived promptly and were polite and respectful. P4 were great from my initial query through to installation and beyond.

I asked them for a quote based on a recommendation from a friend and the fact that they are very local.

The survey went well and the clear info and lack of sales pressure sold me the system before I even had a price. But the price was also competitive. I got further quotes but none of the others got anywhere close to the initial service from P4.

I had lots of questions all of which were answered quickly. I also had to change install dates which again were sorted efficiently.

On the installation date the fitters were great. They arrived on time, were polite and courteous and kept noise to a minimum which was welcomed by me and my neighbours. The electrician also ran through the system and helped to set up the app.

Since my install the Great service has continued with info on changing tariff and the paperwork required to do this.

I would have no hesitation to recommend P4.

Living in a rural area without mains gas we rely on modern storage heaters to heat our home. We had been thinking about installing solar panels, both to offset our electricity bills and to do a small bit for the planet. P4 helped us at every stage throughout our solar journey. Fred patiently answered our many questions and helped us to design a system which was affordable and which will make a significant improvement to our home for years to come.

The installation was quick and efficient and the team were polite and tidy.
