GoCycle is a great bike
GoCycle is a great bike, and a great product. I have now had the bike for 3 months and ridden over 200 miles, and it has rekindled my love of cycling. I was looking for a bike that would fold up in my trunk so I could drive to some of the great bike paths in the San Francisco Bay Area. I went into the bike store expecting to buy a Brompton, but then the salesman suggested I try the GoCycle. I was hooked on the first test drive. I am in my sixties, so I wanted to get a little exercise and a little fresh air. but nothing too strenuous. The electric assist of the GoCycle is just magic. It eliminates the unpleasant part of laboring up the hills. It takes a few times to master the folding and unfolding, but once you do, it is easy to do and only takes a few minutes. The bike is not cheap, but I am delighted with its performance and how well it works for me. I bought a Wahoo bike computer, which is a great addition to measure your rides. The tires that come with the bike have a great ride but are very thin, and I had two flats in the first month. I bought thicker tires, and they are working much better. The bike is precision built and stable, and the design is very cool. I would rank it up there with Tesla, Apple, and Spotify as examples of the best technology engineering around. You feel like you are riding the state-of-the-art in bicycles. I would highly recommend it.
